Key, P.A. Works' The Day I Became a God Anime Introduces More Characters, Cast

Aniplex unveiled a new key visual, more characters, and their respective cast members for The Day I Became a God (Kami-sama ni Natta Hi), the third original anime from Key, Aniplex, and P.A. Works, on Saturday. The anime's second animated promotional video also debuted on YouTube, although it is region-blocked outside Japan.

The newly announced characters and cast members are:

Chiharu Shigematsu as Hiroto Suzuki, a mysterious youth known as a genius hacker

Haruka Terui as Hikari Jingūji, an alumni of Sora's film club

Yu Shimamura as Kako Tengan, a lawyer with beauty, talent, and fame who has been all over television and magazines

Kikuko Inoue as CEO, the head of the global IT company Fenrir

Kenichirō Matsuda as Raita Oguma, CEO's subordinate and Hiroto's supervisor

Ryoka Yuzuki as Tokiko Narukami, Yōta and Sora's mother

Tarusuke Shingaki as Daichi Narukami, Yōta and Sora's father

The anime will premiere on October 10 at 24:00

Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko - Tomoshibi Anime Unveils 2nd Video, More Staff, Song Artists, October 25 Debut

The Tokyo Game Show 2020 Special Live Stream for the Toji no Miko: Kizamishi Issen no Tomoshibi (Katana Maidens – Tomoshibi) smartphone game debuted the second promotional video for the tie-in original video anime on Saturday. The video lists the premiere dates and more staff members for the two-part anime project. The program also announced that the six members of the Akabane Sword Research Team (as voiced by their cast members) are singing the theme song "blurry shadow."


The first part will premiere on October 25 from 8:30 to 9:00 p.m. on the AT-X channel. It will then stream within the game itself from October 25 to October 30, before going on multiple streaming services on October 31.

The second part will premiere on November 29 from 8:30 to 9:00 p.m. on the AT-X channel. It will then stream within the game itself from November 29 to December 4, before going on multiple streaming services on December 5.

As previously announced, Tomohiro Kamitani (Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko episode animation director) is directing the original video anime at project No.9, and Aoi Akashiro (Katana Maidens: Mini Toji) is in charge of the series scripts. Daisuke Niitsuma (Lupin the Third: Jigen's Gravestone design collaborator, The Heroic Legend of Arslan conceptual designer) is designing the characters based on Yoshinori Shizuma's original designs.

The two-volume original video anime will have a 2020 "advance premiere" via broadcast and streaming. Crunchyroll describes it as a Crunchyroll co-production.

I'm Standing on a Million Lives Anime's Video Previews Ending Song

The official website for the television anime of Naoki Yamakawa and Akinari Nao's I'm Standing on a Million Lives. (100-Man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru) manga began streaming the ending animation for the series on Tuesday. The video features the song "Carpe Diem" performed by Liyuu, a popular cosplayer from Shanghai.



The series will premiere on Tokyo MX at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, and it will also run on the BS11, MBS, and WOWOW channels, as welll as on the ABEMA and dAnime Store services in Japan. The anime finished production of all 12 episodes three months before its October premiere.

The official website for the Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka? (Is the order a rabbit?) anime franchise posted on Thursday more cast members and a promotional video just before the October 10 premiere of Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka? BLOOM (Is the order a rabbit? BLOOM), the third television season.

Is the order a rabbit? BLOOM Anime Posts Character Video for Chiya

The official website for Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka? BLOOM (Is the order a rabbit? BLOOM), the third television season of the Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka? (Is the order a rabbit?) anime franchise, began streaming a new promotional video for the anime on Wednesday. The video highlights the character Chiya Ujimatsu.



The anime will premiere this Saturday at 9:30 p.m. Japan Time (8:30 a.m. EDT) on AT-X. The anime will also air later that night on Tokyo MX, BS11, AbemaTV, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime for digital release in fall 2020 and home video, and Crunchyroll will stream the anime as it airs in Japan. HIDIVE will begin streaming the season on October 10 at 9:00 a.m. EDT.

Warlords of Sigrdrifa Anime Casts Marina Inoue, Kanon Takao, Mayu Sagara

The official website for Aniplex's original anime Warlords of Sigrdrifa (Senyoku no Sigrdrifa) revealed more cast members on Tuesday.

The newly announced cast includes:



Marina Inoue as Yayoi Amatsuka with the F7F

Kanon Takao as Kurumi Suzuhara with the P-51D

Mayu Sagara as Moe Isurugi with the P-51D

The anime's first episode premiered on Tokyo MX, BS11, and other channels as a one-hour special on October 3. Funimation is streaming the series from Aniplex. The anime will have 12 episodes.
