Kyoto Animation Starts Recruiting Again

Kyoto Animation announced on Tuesday that it is accepting applications again for different positions for both fixed-term and year-round employment periods. The anime studio had postponed recruiting for the 2021 fiscal year due to the spread of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The studio is accepting applications for animators, managers, and systems engineers, for both fixed-term and year-round periods. It is also accepting general affairs personnel only for year-round periods, and 3D CG positions (modeling, rigging, effects, animation production) only for fixed-term periods.

The studio is also accepting applications for enrollment for it and its Animation DO sister studio's training program. The course will run from October 3, 2020 to September 25, 2021. As before, is open to high school graduates who are 18 to 25 years old.

Ghibli Museum Aims to Gradually Reopen to General Public in September

Ghibli Museum Director Kazuki Anzai announced on Thursday that the museum dedicated to the anime of Studio Ghibli will gradually reopen in mid-July. However, tickets for this initial trial phase will be only available to residents of the museum's local Mitaka City in limited, random drawings. Depending on how this initial phase goes, the museum aims to gradually expand ticket availability to the general public in September.

The museum has remained closed since February 25 to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19), in collaboration with Mitaka City. Even after reopening this year, the museum plans to close again in November and December for facility maintenance that it normally cannot perform during the year. The museum then aims for a full-fledged resumption of operations in the new year.

Mari Okada's O Maidens in Your Savage Season Manga Gets Live-Action Series

The August issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine announced on Thursday that Mari Okada and Nao Emoto's O Maidens in Your Savage Season (Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo) manga is inspiring a live-action television series.

The manga will also have two new side-story chapters that will debut in the magazine's next two issues in August and September.

Life-Size Freedom Gundam Statue to Debut at Shanghai's New LaLaport Jinqiao Mall in 2021

Sunrise confirmed on Monday that it will unveil its life-size Freedom Gundam statue in front of the Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Jinqiao in Shanghai in 2021. The statue is the first overseas one in Sunrise's "Life-Size Gundam Statue Project." Sunrise and its partners first teased the plans during the live-streamed Gundam G Meeting 2020 event for the Gundam China Project on Saturday.

 

Protagonist Kira Yamato pilots the 18.03-meter-tall (about 59-foot-tall) ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam mobile suit midway through the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed anime series.

Sunrise is planning to unveil an 18-meter-high (59-foot-tall) life-size, moving RX-78-2 Gundam statue from the first Mobile Suit Gundam anime in Yokohama, but delayed the unveiling to later this year due to the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The first sequel, tentatively titled Zoku・Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei Magian Company (Sequel・The Irregular at Magic High School Magian Company), will debut around fall 2020. The story follows Tatsuya and the others who have graduated from high school.

The second series, tentatively titled Shin・Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei Cygnus no Otome-tachi (New・The Irregular at Magic High School Maidens of Cygnus), will launch around winter 2021. The story follows students who attend Tatsuya's high school after his graduation. The franchise's official website began publishing a prequel to this series, which centers on students Arisa and Marika, on July 10.

Mari Okada's Live-Action O Maidens in Your Savage Season Show Reveals Cast, Staff, September 8 Debut

The official website for the live-action series of Mari Okada and Nao Emoto's O Maidens in Your Savage Season (Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo) manga revealed the cast, staff, and September 8 premiere date for the show on Thursday.

The cast includes:

• Anna Yamada (top row left in image above) as Kazusa Onodera, a member of the literature club prone to flights of fancy
  
• Tina Tamashiro (top row right) as Niina Sugawara, a beautiful and mysterious girl who is mature for her age
  
• Mayū Yokota (bottom row left) as Rika Sonezaki, the president of the literature club
  
• Mei Hata (bottom row center) as Momoko Sudō, a literature club member and Kazusa's best friend
  
• Shuri Tanaka (bottom row right) as Hitoha Hongō, a literature club member who is penning her own novel
  

Mai Sakai, Aya Igashi, and Keita Mizunami are directing the series, while Okada, the original manga's writer, is penning the scripts herself, as she did for the manga's television anime adaptation. The series will premiere on MBS and TBS on September 8.

Il Jump ha giá serie promettenti che esploderanno del tutto appena comincerà l'anime, non ha bisogno di Act-Age ma anzi è bene che dia un segno non permettendo più che nella propria rivista ci lavori un molestatore seriale di minorenni.

One piece va una settimana si ed una no.

Ma soprattutto è finito yaiba.

Stone non è mai decollato, csm non andrà mai oltre le vendite medie e nemmeno durerà tanto, mash non so.

Staranno facendo sacrifici umani per far si che l'anime di kaisen scateni il botto.

Ma act-age non solo era importante come successo potenziale, ma perchè era anche qualcosa di "diverso".

Su jump oggi hai combat shonen oltremodo standard (a parte stone) ed hai commedie 90% demenziali, cioè per la prima volta da decadi manca persuno uno sportivo.

Chainsaw Man è una delle serie più promettenti del Jump, altro che vendite medie XD
