College dropout Mae Borowski returns home to the crumbling former mining town of Possum Springs seeking to resume her aimless former life and reconnect with the friends she left behind. But things aren't the same. Home seems different now and her friends have grown and changed. Leaves are falling and the wind is growing colder. Strange things are happening as the light fades.

And there's something in the woods.

NIGHT IN THE WOODS is an adventure game focused on exploration, story, and character, featuring dozens of characters to meet and lots to do across a lush, vibrant world. After a successful Kickstarter it's being made by Infinite Fall, a teamup of Alec Holowka (Aquaria), Scott Benson (Late Night Work Club), and Bethany Hockenberry.

Scusate, ho aperto l'altro topic perché questo non è in lista. Il gioco comunque esce oggi, si sblocca alle 19:00.

Tristissimo non ci sia nemmeno un posto.

Appena finito, credo di averne giocato praticamente solo 1/3 + un sacco di segreti mancanti a cui al solito non sarei mai arrivato. E' molto bello ma in certi aspetti strutturali mi ha anche leggermente deluso. Da giocare assolutamente.

Secondo me cade un po' nel finale.

Devo ancora vedere se il colpo di scena alla Hot Fuzz sul "bene superiore" mi abbia convinto a pieno. Se avesse mantenuto i toni slice of life e riflessivi (esistenza di ***, rapporti interpersonali, quesiti esistenziali etc.) fino alla fine, senza andare frettolosamente verso un finale più fantasy, forse l'avrei preferito. A meno che non fosse tutto un'allucinazione dei gas della miniera, ma dubito.

Nel complesso lo consiglio anche io, artisticamente è molto carino sia per grafica che per colonna sonora.

Purtroppo è uscito in un periodo bruttissimo, tra Torment, Zelda e Horizon passerà quasi sicuramente inosservato, contando pure che è un indie. Pure Io al momento non posso permettermelo avendo già preso Torment. Peccato perché mi ispira davvero tanto.

Mae was uncomfortable with the whole affair; forced to wear a dress and not knowing how to slow-dance. As she leaned in for a kiss, she messed up horribly and drew blood, leaving him bleeding profusely. She rushed Cole to the bathroom to grab some paper towels; shoving them in his mouth to stem the bleeding. She overdoes it however, and Cole starts to choke and thrash about.

At the same time, Mae starts to choke on some smuggled candy almonds. With Cole slumped against the wall, she manages to successfully administer the Heimlich maneuver on herself. However, as a result, she also ends up vomiting all over him; covering him in the remnants of night's chicken cordon bleu.

Right at that moment, someone walks in and finds the two of them: Mae vomiting into the sink and Cole dazed and choking. Mae, for some reason, thinks to pull out all the paper towels from Cole's mouth and flush it down the toilet, causing it to overflow.

She drags Cole out: the two of them covered in puke, blood and toilet water. Cole runs away and leaves, stranding Mae there. Mae has to hitch a ride from Josh to get home; crying on the back of his tractor as it inches along, holding up traffic.

Francamente neanche a me il finale ha fatto impazzire, devo essere sincero, ma tutto il resto è assolutamente fantastico. Un finale così così non rovina il lavoro fatto. Spettacolo.

Bea: Ohhhhh, ok.

Mae: There! thank you...those.
