A Place Further Than the Universe Original Anime Gets Manga

Next year's January issue of Kadokawa's Comic Alive magazine announced on Monday that a manga adaptation of the upcoming original television anime A Place Further Than the Universe (Uchū Yorimo Tōi Basho) will launch in the next issue on December 27. Nene Yoimachi will draw the series.
The anime will premiere in January and Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs.

A Place Further Than the Universe Reveals More Cast, January 2 Premiere Date

The official website for the original A Place Further Than the Universe (Uchū Yorimo Tōi Basho) television anime revealed more cast members, the January 2 premiere date, and the ending theme song for the series on Wednesday.
The new cast members are:

Mamiko Noto as Gin Tōdō, the commander of the civilian Antarctic exploration group Antarctic Challenge. Gin was an acquaintance of Shirase's mother in high school, and she joined the exploration party after Shirase's mother previously encouraged her. She was also a member of the exploration group in which Shirase's mother went missing three years ago. Because of that, she has a sense of responsibility. She relies on leadership skills but sometimes becomes taciturn and uses few words, leading to misunderstandings.

Yōko Hikasa as Kanae Maekawa, the deputy commander under Gin. She got to know Shirase's mother and Gin as part of the previous Antarctic exploration group. She formerly worked for a company. Kanae turns her head quickly, talks a lot, and is very popular with men. She handles all discussions for Gin who doesn't talk much, and there is gossip that she is the commanding officer behind the scenes.

Lynn as Yumiko Samejima, the head cook for the Antarctic exploration group. She is a lively and spirited woman who is resilient in the cold despite being from Okinawa. As a mentor to Kimari and her friends, she teaches them things and becomes someone they can always talk to.

Hisako Kanemoto as Megumi Takahashi, Kimari's close friend since kindergarten. She's not good at girly things. She can see things with a somewhat cool perspective, and she doesn't get overly excited about anything. Watching Kimari become enthusiastic about going to Antarctica, she secretly becomes jealous.

Kaede Hondo as Rin Tamaki, Kimari's younger sister. She is a level-headed person who who looks after her older sister and is good at taking care of people. She is class representative at school. Although she is worried about her sister going to Antarctica, she supports her from the bottom of her heart.

Sayaka Ohara as Tamiko Shiraishi, Yuzuki's mother. She is also Yuzuki's manager and is in charge of her work. She is a "stage mom" who always wanted Yuzuki to become a performer since the girl was born. She does her best to make Yuzuki famous.

The anime will premiere on AT-X on January 2 at 8:30 p.m., on Tokyo MX at 11:00 p.m., and on BS11 at 11:30 p.m. The anime will debut on MBS on January 9 late at night at 3:00 a.m. (effectively January 10). The anime will also be available through various streaming services in Japan, and the first episode will stream in advance on d Anime Store (Docomo Anime Store) on December 28, on Niconico Live from December 29, and on AbemaTV from December 30. In addition, the anime will have an advance screening for the anime's first two episodes at Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro in Tokyo on December 27. Inori Minase and Kana Hanazawa will participate in a talk show at the event.

Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs in Japan.

Voice actresses Inori Minase, Kana Hanazawa, Yuka Iguchi, and Saori Hayami will perform the ending theme song "Koko kara, Koko kara" (From Here, From Here) as their characters. The song's single will ship on February 21.

Doveva essere il primo anime di questa stagione che avrei iniziato a seguire e invece è diventato l'ultimo (ma vorrei trovare lo spazio anche per Yuru Camp)

Visti i primi due episodi. Un ottimo inizio per quella che si prospetta una bella storia di amicizia, sogni e gioventù, speriamo solo non esagerino con i buoni sentimenti. Semplicemente delizioso il comparto tecnico con i disegni dei personaggi luminosi, dal contorno chiaro e in netto risalto con lo sfondo, che lo rendono molto piacevole da guardare

Solidissimi pure questi, ora come ora tra le serie più interessanti e riuscite della stagione fra quelle che seguo Le quattro protagoniste mi stanno già tutte simpatiche, vediamo adesso

Confermo quello che ho scritto nei precedenti commenti, una delle serie più piacevoli di questa stagione, già solo per la premessa molto originale e atipica. Mette davvero allegria ed è una gioia per gli occhi grazie al comparto tecnico di ottimo livello. Unico neo

il personaggio di Shirase, che oltre ad essere insopportabile in certi momenti per via delle sue reazioni esagerate, non sta avendo quello sviluppo decisivo che mi sarei aspettato, in quanto è lei il motore di tutte le vicende.

Ma vediamo come va avanti, abbiamo solo superato il giro di boa

da quando sono partiti mi sta piacendo di meno, preferivo la prima parte sulla terraferma Adesso che sono finalmente arrivati in Antartide, mi auguro che la serie faccia un bel salto di qualità

Episodio 9 a dir poco eccezionale, il finale mi ha quasi fatto commuovere, il 10 molto buono. Adesso che siamo quasi alla fine sono molto curioso perché non ho la più pallida idea di come potrebbero concludere questa serie

giustamente andare in Antartide non è una passeggiata, buone musiche e belle scene come la corsa nella seconda puntata

Ecco spiegato perché overlord 2 è così low budget, questa serie è proprio bella visivamente :stema:
