Akiba’s Trip 2 announced for PlayStation 3, PS Vita

Akiba’s Trip 2 is in development for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, Acquire announced in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu. The game will launch in Japan on November 7 for 7,239 yen on PlayStation 3 and 6,549 yen on PS Vita.

An Akihabara-set sequel to Acquire’s 2011-released PSP game, its latest depiction of Tokyo’s Electronic Town promises to be a more realistic one. Compared to the previous game, more than two times the amount of real-name stores will appear. The story will change depending on who your partner is. And there’s an undressing move called “Unison Strip,” where you cooperate with your partner to take your clothes off.

Confirmed partners include Shizuku Tokikaze (刻風雫), voiced by Sachika Misawa, and Toko Sagisaka (鷺坂登子), voiced by Chiwa Saito.

Akiba’s Trip 2 Has Over 130 Shops From Akihabara

Akiba’s Trip for PSP had a decent recreation of Akihabara with actual stores you would see if you visited Tokyo’s otaku haven. Akiba’s Trip 2 will top that since Acquire put in over 130 shops for players to visit. Interesting tidbit – Acquire’s main office is located in the heart of Akihabara right next to the train station. The only difference in Acquire’s game is there are bloodsucking demon creatures creeping around Akihabara. Players can defeat these enemies by exposing them to sunlight – which means stripping off their clothes. Akiba’s Trip 2′s story centers around a conspiracy and the plot changes depending on which partner you have and the decisions you make.

Il primo è uscito solo su PSP e solo in Giappone. Se hanno svolto un bel lavoro su grafica e animazioni, può diventare un gioco molto carino.
