The title sold best on PS5 (42% of sales), followed by Xbox Series S/X (31%) and then PS4 (27%).

Last week's No.1, Sony's Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut, falls from No.1 to No.9 after a sales drop of 50% week-on-week. Indeed, the big PS5 exclusives all dropped around 50% in sales week-on-week, including Spider-Man: Miles Morales (from No.3 to No.5) and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (from No.2 to No.12). These games jump up and down the charts depending on the availability of PS5 hardware.

There were other new games in the charts. No More Heroes 3 arrives at No.16 on Nintendo Switch. The game will likely have performed better as a digital release, and digital data is not counted in these charts.

Speravo di vedere entrambe le versioni in top 10, ma la doppietta in cima non me l'aspettavo. E che numeri!

Steins;Gate oltre ad essere una esclusiva X360 era anche, di fatto, una nuova IP, visto che condivide solo l'universo con Chaos;Head. Il suo pubblico se l'è costruito da sé, con le recensioni ed il passaparola.
Tsukihime, per importanza storica, è paragonabile ad Utawarerumono e pochissime altre VN.

“The supply of chips will remain very tight until at least September next year,” said Takeshi Kamebuchi, a director in charge of semiconductors at one of the company’s units. “In some cases, we may find some customers not being fully served until 2023.”

Video-game consoles are another prominent victim of the power chip shortage. Sony Group Corp. said it was still confident it can sell more than 14.8 million units of the PlayStation 5 this fiscal year to match the pace of its predecessor, but the new console’s production in the April-June quarter lagged behind the PlayStation 4’s for the same period. Nintendo Co.’s Switch production hasn’t been sufficient to serve customer demand, according to President Shuntaro Furukawa.

“We consider which customer faces the most severe situation, such as the risk of the whole production line halting or the business getting obliterated without the supply of chips,” he said. “Game console makers are among the customers making the strongest demands and I’m sincerely sorry for their frustration as none of them have a 100% satisfaction.

Elsewhere, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the week's best-selling PS5 game, bouncing all the way back into fourth. Then there's a superhero double bill, with Marvel's Avengers and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales in sixth and seventh respectively. Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut was in ninth last week but has slipped out of the top 10 into 13th. Similarly, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is now in 12th after an impressive number one debut.
