Nintendo Switch has sold 125.62 million units worldwide as of March 31, 2023, Nintendo announced in its latest earnings release.

A total of 3.07 million Switch hardware and 41.85 million software were sold during the three months ended March 31, 2023.

Nintendo also shared updated sales numbers for its first-party Switch titles.

The 10 best-selling first-party Switch titles are:

1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 53.79 million
2. Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 42.21 million
3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 31.09 million
4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 29.81 million
5. Pokemon Sword / Pokemon Shield – 25.82 million
6. Super Mario Odyssey – 25.76 million

-Splatoon 3 solo 700k (per lo più in giappone)
-Metroid Prime a fatica ha fatto un milione nonostante il prezzo budget e l'ottima ricezione della critica
-Xeno3 praticamente nulla
-Kirby e FE 1.5mln circa, direi abbastanza sulle aspettative, ma qualcosina in più potevano farlo vista la base installata
-Bayo Origins non pervenuto (sotto il milione)

Prime conferma quello che ha confermato Dread, Metroid ha bisogno di marketing non può essere droppatto a caso, per carità credo che arriverà a 2 mil, ma lo shadowdrop a sto punto non ha avuto il minimo effetto, come per Hi Fi rush

Per quanto riguarda Metroid era un risultato scontato. Nel senso che Nintendo se credeva sul serio che questa ip poteva essere un successo commerciale in tutti questi anni si sarebbe già mossa per fare un capitolo ufficiale degno di nota. Nintendo ha fatto l'operazione Metroid prime remastered solo per fare un piacere ai fan del brand. Tuttavia da ignaro dei fatti, non diró con certezza che Metroid ha floppato al 100%. Magari avrà gambe lunghe o semplicemente per N sono dei numeri soddisfacenti per fare un seguito ufficiale
