Simple and Strategic Card BattlesThe combat of Nep-Nep Connect: Chaos Chanpuru uses an “Advance Card Battle” system. Through simple card battles, you’ll place the cards you have in your possession onto the field and advance towards the enemy encampment.

A Look at the Battlefield

The battlefield of Nep-Nep Connect: Chaos Chanpuru consists of 21 blocks that are divided into the ally and enemy encampments.

—Ally and Enemy Encampments

The battlefield is divided into ally and enemy encampments. The blue blocks are the ally encampment, while the red blocks are the enemy encampment. Place the cards you have in your possession into the ally encampment to increase your units.

—The Player’s Hand

You can hold a maximum of five cards in your hand. Each turn, one card from the deck is added at random to your hand. When you run out of cards in your deck, you’ll have to reload, which consumes your HP.

—Lifeline


Behind each encampment is a row of units known as your “lifeline.” The lifeline acts as the player’s HP, and when your HP reaches zero, you’ll be defeated. Attack the enemy’s lifeline to reduce their HP to zero.

Attack the Enemy Lifeline and Attain Victory


When a unit on the field’s turn ends, they will automatically move forward once block. In the event that it moves next to an enemy unit, it will issue an attack on that unit. By moving next to a lifeline, you can damage the enemy’s HP.

Se avesse avuto carte normali e non fanservice avrebbe potuto vendere 10x il numero che ha fatto, visto che il gioco funzionava perfettamente. :sisi:

Ma la gente vede un po' di pelle scoperta e automaticamente il gioco diventa ai loro occhi una schifezza...

La versione PC, a differenza di quella PSV, non avrà illustrazioni censurate.

■ Using Attributes

Each character card has a set attribute, and each attribute has affinity with another.

For example:

Fire attribute cards do greater damage to Wood attribute cards, but do less damage to Water attribute cards.

Wood attribute cards do greater damage to Water attribute cards, but do less damage to Fire attribute cards.

Water attribute cards do greater damage to Fire attribute cards, but do less damage to Wood attribute cards.

Light attribute cards do greater damage to Dark attribute cards.

Dark attribute cards do greater damage to Light attribute cards.

■ Card Strengthening
To strengthen your character cards, you’ll need different character cards to act as strengthening materials. The higher the rarity of the cards you use as strengthening materials, the more experience points the strengthened card will acquire, more likely leveling it up.

Also, by using the same character card as strengthening material, the strengthened card’s Leader Skill will level up.

■ Uncapping the Maximum Level

To uncap a character card from its maximum level, items requested by each character are necessary. If you possess the target items, you can uncap the maximum level.

By uncapping a character card’s maximum level, the character will be released of its leveling limits, allowing you to level up the card even higher.

Also, a maximum level uncap can be performed a certain number of times per character. Master maximum level uncaps to create the strongest characters.

■ Defeat the Bosses

Boss battles are different from standard battles. Boss characters will block the player’s path.

The basic rules are the same as a standard battle—advance to the boss’ location and reduce their HP to zero to win.

However, a boss character’s actions are nothing but troublesome. Overcome their fierce attacks in order to attain victory.

Powerful Extra Skills

With each turn that passes, the boss’ EX Gauge (Extra Gauge) will increase by one. When the EX Gauge is filled, the boss will unleash a special move called an “Extra Skill.”

Unique Actions

—Linear Attack

The boss’ standard attack is a linear attack that targets and fires at your lifeline. If you have characters on the field in the path of a linear attack’s progression, they’ll receive damage from the attack instead of your lifeline.

—Subordinates

Boss characters can dispatch “subordinate” characters that obstruct your progression towards the boss and continue to appear as long as the boss has Mana. Repel the subordinates and make your way under the boss!

A quanto pare il nuovo Genkai Tokki per PS4 non è l'unico gioco che sta bollando in pentola alla Compile Heart.

Presto verrà annunciato un nuovo gioco per PSV, di cui a parte la piattaforme non si sa però assolutamente nulla.

The latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation has first details on Genkai Tokki: Castle Panzers, Compile Heart’s first entry in the Genkai Tokki series for PlayStation 4 announced earlier this month.The game is a simulation RPG due out in 2017 in Japan. It is produced by Norihisa Kochiwa and directed by Kenta Kanno.

Here are tidbits from the magazine’s interview with the creators:

It’s a P.S. RPG (“Pai x Shiri”—“Breasts x Butt” in English).

Felistella, the developer, specializes in simulation RPGs. (Felistella developed Agarest Senki, Summon Night 5, and the Summon Night 3 and 4 PSP ports.)

They want to propose a new way to play with PlayStation 4.

The girl shown in the teaser trailer is a human, not a monster girl.

There will be a substantial amount of monster girls in the game.

A castle integrated with a tank will appear.

As for the difficulty, everyone will be able to play it.

The publisher details the story:
1929 – It was the year of the outbreak. In masses, normal people were transforming into inhuman creatures called Chimera. The cause: a mysterious virus brought to earth by a meteorite, known as the Black Garnet, which crashed there long ago.

The Chimera Virus in its beginning stages would wipe out 3% of the world’s entire population. In a state of national emergency, Japan became a closed nation in an attempt to stave off the pandemic. A covert military agency known as ACID was established to combat the remaining Chimera in the country.

Time passes. ACID establishes a special unit known as Special Force Valkyrie in order to eradicate the Chimera that threaten humanity to this day.

The battle system was also heavily detailed:

Tactical Field Battle System:

This game utilizes a battle system called the Tactical Field Battle System, in which turn order changes in real time, and allies and enemies battle mixed together. Each character’s icon will move up the Tactical Wait Gauge, and when it reaches the ACT (Turn Start Position), it will be possible to input an action.The speed of an icon is based on a character’s Speed, and an important characteristic is an icon’s movement changing in real time, not pausing even when a character executes a basic Combo.

Combos:

Combos are the basic attack techniques of the Valkyrie Force, which consists of executing pre-set attacks in succession. Including the first hit, it is possible to set up to 5 Combos. After selecting the command, you can select the Combo’s Attack Level, and depending on the situation it is possible to use Combos from Lv. 1 to 3. Because you can set attacks in various combinations for each Level, it’s possible to customize them into your own battle style. In addition, there exist Riot Combos that activate special effects based on a combination of specific attacks, which easily allows you to use powerful attacks. It is possible to include a Combo effective against a particularly strong enemy in any of the Attack Levels, and use your other Combos against enemies that isn’t that one.

Arts:

Asahi and Valkyrie Force have a powerful means of attacking called Arts. A characteristic of Arts is that icon movement on the Tactical Wait Gauge will stop while in use. As Combos are “attacks where time does not stop,” and Arts are “attacks where time stops,” it will become a point within battle to use each according to the situation. Arts are more powerful than combos, but as they use up AP, it isn’t suited for continual use. Like Combos, Arts also have an Attack Level, but as Arts have a set Level, there is no need to select a Level like with Combos. There also exist Arts that allow you to perform cooperative attacks with team members, and can be activated with the right conditions. As cooperative attacks are very powerful, they’re sure to be the key to victory if used effectively.

Ignition:

Ignition is a command that can be activated by using TP, and increases the physical strength of the user. Ignition also has an Attack Level, and its effects change depending on the level. When activating Ignition, for every turn that passes Fatigue will accumulate. If this Fatigue amount exceeds a certain value, Cool Down is selected from Commands, or a character is KO’d, the Ignition will be released.

Overdrive:

During Ignition, the Command Overdrive will appear. By using TP and activating Overdrive, you’ll gain effects greater than with Ignition, and you will utilize the Valkyrie’s full power. By being administered a large dose of an augmenting agent, the user is able to withstand the Valkyrie’s output. As a result of Overdrive, turn order becomes faster. As turn order changes in real time, it is extremely important to increase this Speed, and if used effectively, you can take the initiative during battle. Therefore, it becomes necessary to fight strategically by watching the enemy’s movements to see what timing you should activate Overdrive.

Pursuit Attacks:

Enemies possess a Guard Gauge. By lowering this Guard value to 0, the enemy will enter a Down State, and the EX Combo that is set in the 5th slot of a Combo will activate. Also, if there is a paired character in the rear guard, there is a probability of activating a Side Attack, an extra attack by that character, and by further satisfying certain conditions, it’s possible to use an Additional Attack. Additional Attacks are powerful simultaneous attacks by all members in the rear guard. During activation, it is possible to select either attacking a single enemy, or all enemies.

Formation:

Formations activate various effects for each character. The effects of a Formation are lost if even one person is KO’d. There are instances where the enemy is also in Formation and occasionally exhibits special effects. In this case, by defeating enemies and decreasing their numbers, it is possible to cancel their Formation effects. Fundamentally, Formations are set beforehand, but it is possible to use TP during battle to set it as well.
