Trama


​
La storia è ambientata in un lontano futuro, in cui la Terra è ormai devastata e l’umanità si è stabilita nella città fortificata mobile Plantation. I piloti “prodotti” dentro Plantation vivono a Mistilteinn, anche conosciuta come "gabbia per uccelli". Bambini vivono lì dentro ignari dell’esistenza di un mondo esterno e della libertà e dell’ampiezza dei cieli. La loro vita ha il solo scopo di portare a termine le missioni assegnate, ossia combattere contro delle misteriose forme di vita giganti, denominate Stridiosauri, pilotando i robot Franxx. Guidare un Franxx vuol dire esistere. Un ragazzo di nome Hiro, Code:016, una volta era ritenuto un prodigio, tuttavia, col passare del tempo, è rimasto in dietro rispetto ai suoi coetanei, tanto che ora la sua esistenza è ritenuta non necessaria. Non pilota più un Franxx e ciò equivale a cessare di esistere. Un giorno una misteriosa ragazza, "Zero Two", dalla cui testa spuntano due corna, appare dinnanzi a Hiro…

The official Twitter account for Studio Trigger and A-1 Pictures' original science-fiction television anime DARLING in the FRANXX revealed a new commercial showcasing Shigeto Koyama's new teaser visual that depicts a machine named "FRANXX."The video describes FRANXX, or "steel maiden," as a woman-shaped robot that can be piloted. Like the first commercial, the second commercial also features some phrases in colored text that appear to be lines of dialogue from the main characters Code:016 (blue text) and Code:002 (red text). The blue text reads, "But we were born only to pilot the FRANXX." The red text reads, "Will you escape? With me."

DARLING in the FRANXX Anime Ad Reveals 3rd Round of Characters

The official Twitter account for Studio Trigger and A-1 Pictures' original science-fiction television anime DARLING in the FRANXX posted a fifth video ad, introducing a third pair of characters and their Franxx (the show's type of woman-shaped robot). The characters' names are Code:390 "Miku" and Code:666 "Zerome," and their Franxx is Argentea.Like other videos, the new video shows text related to each character. Miku's phrases include "innocence," "beautiful appearance," "hates to lose," and "excellent style." Zerome's phrases include "emotional and impulsive," "longs to be an adult," and "brimming with confidence."

Earlier videos introduced Code:016 "Hiro" and Code:002 "Zero Two" with their Franxx named Strelizia, and Code:015 "Ichigo" and Code:056 "Goro" with their Franxx named Delphinium.

The staff are revealing new sets of characters every week. The end of the video shows silhouettes for the next pair of characters and their Franxx.

The official Twitter account for for Studio Trigger and A-1 Pictures' original science-fiction television anime DARLING in the FRANXX posted a new video and key visual on Thursday. The video teases the story and reveals that the anime will premiere in January 2018 on Tokyo MX, BS11, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, ABC Asahi Broadcasting, and Mētele.

The text in the video reads:

This place is a "birdcage."

A place that's shut, a place that's regulated.

There is only one reason to live—

It's our battle.

DARLING in the FRANXX Anime Reveals January 13 Premiere, Opening Theme Song

The official website for Studio Trigger and A-1 Pictures' original science-fiction television anime DARLING in the FRANXX announced the premiere dates and opening theme song performer on Thursday. The series will premiere on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, GTV, and BS11 at 11:30 p.m. on January 13. It will also air on ABC, Mētele, Hiroshima Home TV, BSS, BBC (Biwako Broadcasting Co), and AT-X.
Mika Nakashima (NANA) and L'Arc en Ciel's HYDE are collaborating on the opening theme song "Kiss of Death." HYDE wrote and composed the song while Nakashima provided the vocals. The website began streaming a promotional video for the song.

To Love-Ru's Kentaro Yabuki's New Manga is DARLING in the FRANXX

The Jump Festa 2018 event revealed on Saturday that Kentaro Yabuki's (To Love-Ru -Trouble-, To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness, Black Cat, Mayoi Neko Overrun!) planned new manga is a manga adaptation of Studio Trigger and A-1 Pictures' original science-fiction television anime DARLING in the FRANXX.
The new manga will launch on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website and app on January 14.

DARLING in the FRANXX Anime's Heroines Sing Ending Theme

The official website for Trigger and A-1 Pictures' DARLING in the FRANXX anime revealed on Friday that the show's heroines — including voice actresses Haruka Tomatsu, Kana Ichinose Nanami Yamashita, Saori Hayami, and Shizuka Ishigami — will perform the show's ending theme song under the unit name "Kiss Me."

Ep1:

Questo è il primo anime Trigger ad avere un budget, sperando mantengano la qualità anche nei prossimi episodi.

Il main pare, sorprendentemente, non essere la classica checca. 002, mi farei violentare felicemente grazie.

Lo scontro col coso là mi ha dato di mostro della settimana, spero la serie non segua 'sto format se no mi cascano le palle già da ora

Il mecha con gli occhietti anime è roba da peggio design.
 
Vista la prima, tutto sommato ok anche se sa di già visto a più riprese. Musiche che provano a trascinare i vari momenti, la compositrice la conosciamo, vedremo se se la caverà anche qui, design di mecha e nemici che lascia ampiamente a desiderare.

Pare esserci del budget, sperando non sia un fuoco di paglia.
