Dettagli

The latest issue of V-Jump introduces a new character and Digimon set to appear in survival strategy RPG Digimon Survive.

Ryou Tominaga (voiced by Yohei Azakami) is a third-year junior high school student unable to accept that he has come to another world. His Digimon Kunemon (voiced by Ryouhei Arai) does not speak human language, but understands Ryou’s words.

The magazine also has some new story information:

  • A mist rises while Takuma is investigating the shrine, and a strange presence could gradually be felt approaching. When monsters attack, Takuma cooperates with new friend Koromon to fight back.
  • Upon returning to the school they are staying at during camp, they find it in ruins. Anxious and at a loss, they hear Ryou scream from inside the building…
  • Move around freely and search for a way to survive within the time limit. Move around the map as you please, talk with friends, and investigate suspicious places to advance the story.

Immagini, doppiatori, dettagli su Ryou e accenni al gameplay di Digimon Survive per PS4, Switch, Xbox One e PC.

Questo Digimon qui mi garba parecchio, si muovessero a farlo uscire...  :certocerto:

■ Story

New Encounters and Imminent Crisis

(This section follows the previous story blurb.)

Takuma and friends visited a shrine related to the “Beast Gods” (Kemonogami) legend. The shrine was covered in fog, and there was an otherworldly, suspicious air floating about it.

Takuma and friends separated and explored the shrine, and a suspicious monster appeared before him from the bushes.

The monster, who calls himself Koromon, told Takuma that he feels like he already knows Takuma. Takuma was perplexed by Koromon, but regains composure after hearing a scream from his friends.

When he arrived at the scene, he found his friends attacked by monsters different from Koromon. And the surrounding fog was engulfing the boys desperately trying to escape…

Takuma, surrounded by fog and separated from his friends, managed to repel the monsters that attacked him with the power of Agumon, who evolved from Koromon, and reunite with Minoru and Aoi to make their way back to the school building where the camp was located.

However, the appearance of the school building surprised Takuma and friends. As if several decades of time had passed, the school building was covered in vegetation and looked like it deteriorated over time. Is this really the school where they were staying? Or did they end up slipping through time? Or perhaps they ended up lost in another world? Those types of questions were raised in their minds.

And at that moment…. “Ahhhhhh!”

They heard Ryou’s scream from the school building. A new crisis swooped down on the children…!

“Where are we?”

The children lost in another world are perplexed…!

■ Characters

Ryou Tominaga (voiced by Yohei Azakami)

A third-year student from a different junior high school who also participated in the extracurricular activities camp. He is unable to accept the reality that he has ended up lost in another world, and is afraid and disgusted by Kunemon. To hide his anxiety, he tries to make himself look better. Though the more he does this, the more his cowardice begins to show.

Kunemon (voiced by Ryouhei Arai)

A larva-type monster with lightning shapes on its body. While it cannot speak human language, it can understand what Ryou and friends are saying.

■ Character Voice Actor Announcements

Takuma (voiced by Kouhei Amasaki) and Agumon (voiced by Chika Sakamoto)

Minoru Hinata (voiced by Atsushi Abe) and Falcomon (voiced by Hiromu Miyazaki)

Aoi Shibuya (voiced by Kaede Hondo) and Labramon (voiced by Yukiyo Fujii)

■ Game System

Search for a Way to Survive

In Digimon Survive, the game progresses through “Drama Parts,” which progresses through text adventure, and “Battle Parts,” where friendly monsters battle against enemies like pawns on a chess board.

Drama Parts have two situations that occur within a limited window of time: “Free Actions,” where you choose where to go and who to talk to, and “Search Actions,” where you search for a means to survive in a critical situation.

For Search Actions, you can freely visit areas from the map. By talking to friends and obtaining information in each area, and by uncovering hints and items by investigating suspicious places, the story will progress. Search for a means to survive!

Bandai Namco has released new information and screenshots of Digimon Survive introducing new characters Saki Kimijima and Floramon, as well as the “Free Action” system.

Get the details below.

■ Story

A camp that is boring for a girl suddenly changes and becomes an unexpected trial!

Saki is a middle school girl known for her lovely appearance and outspoken conduct.

While she participated in the camp to make memories with friends, none of her friends joined. While she looks popular, her friends see her as bothersome and cast her aside.

As if to get her mind off of that fact, she approaches Takuma and his friends. They step foot into the off-limits shrine out of curiosity, but end up wandering into another world together.

With her everyday life striped away, the strength of the girl’s heart will be challenged!

With her normal life a thing of the past, a girl’s strength will be tested!

■ Characters

Saki Kimijima (voiced by Minami Takahoshi)

A first-year middle school girl who participates in the extracurricular camp. She has a freewheeling and honest personality in that she clearly says whatever it is she wants to say. A girl who stresses her feelings for better or worse, her personality remains unchanged even when she wanders into another world, and saying exactly what is on her mind may lead to friction against others… She is unable to accept death as a reality, and believes everything is going to be alright.

Floramon (voiced by Shino Shimoji)

While categorized as a Plant-type, she is an unusual Digimon that evolved like a reptile. She is a friend to Saki, and her refreshing personality is an excellent match for the middle schooler.

—Villainous Digimon swoop down on Saki and Floramon!

■ Game Systems

Deepen Your Bonds with Friends through “Free Action”

During “Drama Parts,” which progress as a text adventure and tell the game’s story, two situations will occur: “Search Action,” where you search for a way to survive in a crisis situation, and “Free Action,” where you will choose where to go and who to talk to within a limited window of time.

During Free Action, your group of friends will disperse and act individually. By choosing an area from the map and talking to your friends in that area, you can learn new information and the problems your friends are dealing with, which will deepen your bonds.

There are also places where you can go during Free Action where you can enter “Free Battle” to train your Digimon and collect items.

Digimon Survive is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC worldwide in 2020. In Japan, it will only be released for PlayStation 4 and Switch.

Bandai Namco has released new information and screenshots of Digimon Survive introducing new characters Shuuji Kayama and Lopmon, as well as the camera system.

Get the details below.

■ A Trial that Falls Upon a Bright Young Man Who Struggles with the Gap Between the Real and Other Worlds

Shuuji is a good-natured person who is kind, gentle, relied upon by the adults, and often takes on the role of leader in a group, but this is a result born from the belief that he “must surpass everyone else” due to the pressure of his strict father’s educational policy and brilliant older brother.

Shuuji joined the camp as an assistant as a means to temporarily release that pressure. However, when he wounds up lost in another world, where his general knowledge cannot be applied, he tries his best to take leadership but…

In a dangerous world, Shuuji will face off against his own weakness…

■ Shuuji Kayama and Lopmon

Shuuji Kayama (voiced by Yuuya Hirose)

A first-year high school student who joins the camp as an assistant. He us a good-natured person who is kind, gentle, and heavily relied upon by others. Even Takuma and company were given the impression that he was a leader they can rely on, but after getting lost in another world where his general knowledge no longer applies, enthusiasm alone precedes his ability to take action, revealing a weak side in which he places the blame on others and his surroundings.

Lopmon (voiced by Naomi Oozora)

A Beast-type monster with three horns on its head, whose biology is shrouded in mystery. Since it has an innocent and youthful personality, Shuuji sees it as lazy and neglects it, making it feel lonely.

■ Photograph the Other World with the Smartphone (Digital Device) Camera

The children lost in another world are still unaware of how dangerous a place it is, and will photograph and record its wondrous scenery with the camera on their smartphones (digital devices). While shocked by his lack of tension, Takuma holds up his camera, but notices noise run along the screen.

There are things in this world that cannot be seen by the human. Things that, even if they exist, cannot be perceived by the human eye, but can be perceived through an electronic device.

By photographing suspicious areas with your smartphone while exploring, you may be able to discover something new. There are all sorts of things to discover, from the key to clearing an investigation, to hidden monsters or items that strengthen your monsters. Perceive the other world through your digital device.

Kaito e Dracmon da Digimon Survive

■ A Boy’s Inner Rage Stirs Up Violence in Another World

Kaito Shinonome is a local boy with a delinquent aura, who lives in the area where the extracurricular activities camp is being held.

The Shinonome family moved to the area several years ago, and Kaito was in charge of taking care of his younger sister in place of his parents, who tend to be away.

When they first moved, he was targeted and teased by bullies, but when they went as far as to tease his little sister who was with him, Kaito’s rage exploded and he gave them a beating.

Since then, Kaito is quieter and glares at others with sharp eyes, isolated from those around him and obsessive about protecting his sister.

“I have to protect my little sister!”

Those feelings become even stronger when he ends up lost in a dangerous new world, as he becomes violent and hurts those around him…

To survive in a dangerous world, a boy’s violent side will be revealed!

■ Kaito Shinonome and Dracmon

Kaito Shinonome

A boy who lives in the area where the extracurricular camp is being held. To stop his younger sister from going to the shrine on the forbidden grounds, he accompanies Takuma and company and ends up in another world. He has a strong sense of duty and dislikes wrongdoing, but because he can also be quick to get into fights and hates relying on others, he occasionally acts without the consultation of others. While he is always worrying over his his younger sister, he often causes misunderstandings due to his character.

Dracmon
A mischievous monster that fears nothing. While keeping a moderate distance from Kaito, who tends to instinctively lose control, he maintains a good relationship with Kaito by encouraging him to calm down and think things over.

The latest issue of Weekly Jump introduces new Digimon Survive character Miu Shinonome and partner digimon Syakomon.

Miu Shinonome (voiced by Misaki Watada) is previously detailed character Kaito Shinonme’s younger sister. She is an eccentric sixth grade student who often speaks in riddles. She dislikes her brother’s interferences and always rebels against him.

Syakomon (voiced by Asami Tanako) is a bivalve monster covered by a hard shell, as well as Miu’s partner Digimon. As she protects Miu from dangerous monsters, they gradually become friends. Though Syakomon tends to daydream, Miu keeps her grounded. Her and Miu make a good pair.

In Digimon Survive, a group of students attending an extracurricular research studies camp end up lost in another world where dangerous monsters exist. Both Miu and Kaito are locals to the area where the camp is being held.
