Rave era splendido anche perchè uscito nell'epoca d'oro in cui nascevano vari battle shonen, in cui tante situazioni e movimenti narrativi non avevano ancora stancato e, al contrario, risultava tutto vagamente fresco. E non c'erano o c'erano solo da poco quelli che sarebbero stati i mostri del genere, nel bene e nel male, che hanno rubato la scena: Bleach, HxH, Naruto, One Piece.

Hiro Mashima Teases More Details About Planned New Work

Fairy Tail manga creator Hiro Mashima posted on Twitter on Saturday more details about his planned new work. Mashima said that while he was at the Angoulême International Comics Festival, "as expected, the most frequently asked question was about my new work."
He then teased three new things about his work:

"It will be a new form of fantasy"

"Jokes will be quite a challenge"

"Plue will make an appearance"

Mashima had posted on Twitter on December 31 that he will "work hard [to launch] a new serialization" this year.

Fairy Tail manga creator Hiro Mashima revealed on his Twitter account on Monday that he is working on a "secret" project. He said that he is becoming "a little confused" due to simultaneously working on his new manga (seen right), Fairy Tail, and an unnamed project, which is "still a secret." He also noted that "ideas emerge one after another" for his new manga.

This year's 26th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine revealed on Wednesday that Hiro Mashima's new manga is tentatively titled Eden's Zero. The manga will have a simultaneous release starting from the first chapter in English, French, Chinese, Korean, and Thai. The issue also revealed a visual for the new manga, featuring a man with black hair and a bandage on his face.North American publisher Kodansha Comics announced on Tuesday that the series' English release will be available on outlets such as Crunchyroll Manga, Comixology, and Kindle. In addition, the company posted the following message from Mashima to overseas fans: "I'm bringing you my next series pretty soon! I can assure you it's going to be full of surprises and excitement. Please look forward to it on June 26!"
