Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Ho ripreso da qualche giorno il gioco, ho comprato una card da 60 giorni, quindi ne avr; per un po' :asd:

Ho controllato l'ultimo aggiornamento che feci e credo di essermi perso un bel po' di cose per strada. Come già dissi, ho cominciato a fare i contenuti di Heavensward. Per ora mi sto dedicando principalmente al plot. Si sta lasciando seguire che è un piacere, le 2 main quest che ho fatto ieri sera sono state fighissime, nella prima ho dovuto difendere in un trial by combat

Alphinaud e Tataru che erano stati accusati ingiustamente di attività losche ad Ishgard. Speak about riconoscenza

Nell'altra sono dovuto partire alla rescue di

Raubahn che era stato tenuto prigioniero dalla sera del fattaccio

dato che girava voce volessero giustiziarlo. Siamo partiti in missione io, alphinaud e Yugiri ad Halatali :bruniii:

, dove lo tenevano rinchiuso in una gabbia e dove hanno tentato di ammazzarci gettando gas velenoso per il dungeon. Poco sapevano con chi avevano a che fare

Ho anche ricevuto il chocobo volante :bruniii:

Per il resto ci sarebbero tonnellate di robe da aggiornare, che per lo più ho anche dimenticato. Sono andato avanti un po' con Hildibrand, ho fatto la chian quest di Ultros :'

e ho iniziato a fare le quest nuove di blm e weaver. Purtroppo col mago sono al 58, volevo prendermi subito tutte le mosse nuove per risettare le hotbar, ma tocca aspettà :/ Nel frattempo ho farmato un po' di pony prima del cambio di gilda (già, nel frattempo ho cambiato fc) e soprattutto mi sono farmato la rod glowing di shiva :bruniii:

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Ho proseguito con la main quest. Per cercare di prevenire la guerra con i draghi io, alphinaud e iceheart ci siamo diretti dalla tribe dei gnorhqualcosa, che tanto buoni quanto gnorri, vogliono basically summonare Ravana solo per espandere il loro controllo su Dravania. Al che il piano geniale. Per farci portare al cospetto del primal fingiamo di farci catturare come prigionieri per essere offerti in suo sacrificio. All'apparizione, proviamo a ragionare con Ravana invano, al che si passa come al solito agli schiaffi.

Iceheart va in Shiva mode e parte lo scontro tra primal :bruniii:

Shiva contro Ravana. Il secondo, nonostante shiva gli abbia tirato tutto il castabile, ha la meglio e la mette KO.

Al solito, tocca al warrior of light mettere a posto le cose. E qui si passa alla parte mmo, mi metto tranquillo in coda per ravana col duty finder vecchia maniera, 18 minuti e quando la situazione sembrava persa e stavo per chiedere in gilda mi parte la fight :ivan:

8, full party. Primo tentativo, diciamo wipe :asd:

non riusciamo a sconfiggere in tempo abbastanza adds e ci spazza (letteralmente) via. Al secondo partiamo meglio, solo che neanche a metà battaglia uno dei 2 tank si fa buttare giù :facepalm:

e ci tocca fare tutta la fight con 1 solo tank. Ho rischiato di morire di danni un paio di volte ma alla fine siamo andati alla grande e siamo riusciti a tirarlo giù :superhype:

Per come lo sto giocando adesso mi sembra di stare a giocare un Final Fantasy jrpg, queste ultime partite mi son piaciute un sacco :bruniii:

Forse ora mi prendo un attimo di pausa con la trama, giusto il tempo di ricaricare le pile dopo aver sconfitto un primal, ci sta. Probabile che esplorerò un po' meglio il mogu-net, dato che la quest che feci ieri mi aveva preso parecchio.

New Residential Area

Shirogane is the new residential area in Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood. It features eastern-style housing and neighborhoods.

Comunque poco, è come se fosse più che altro la trial di prima un po' più ampia e senza la fretta dei 14 giorni. Forse con il cap a 20 prima non arrivavi a prendere il chocobo, non ricordo a che livello si sblocca.

Inoltre al livello 35 mi sa che arrivi a fare le fight di Ifrit e Titan.

Comunque non puoi completare la main story, dato che serve il livello 50. Poi a livello di interazione era abbastanza limitante, se non sbaglio quando la facemmo io e rion neanche potevamo chattare, comunicavamo a gesti :asd:

Addirittura non si poteva neanche far party.

Però boh, direi che in generale puoi provare un po' di roba dalle classi di combattimento, a quelle di crafting e gathering, ti puoi fare un'idea della struttura delle sidequest e accedere a vari contenuti, forse anche il gold saucer. Direi che rimane sostanzialmente una demo, solo a tempo non limitato, col vantagigo che ti puoi creare un pg e avere un po' di tempo per eventualmente affezionartici e volendo poi continuarlo ad usare nel full game

Journey to the East

Ala Mhigo

An occupied city-state located in a mountainous region of eastern Aldenard. However, unbeknownst to many, it was none other than the Garlean Empire that had been pulling the strings from the shadows the entire time. They quickly set about moving in to take control of Ala Mhigo as anarchy reigned, and have remained in control of the nation for the past twenty years

Gyr Abania ＜Ala Mhigo＞

A region formerly controlled by the city-state of Ala Mhigo. Located in the eastern reaches of Abalathia’s Spine, surrounded by perilous mountains, the area was known for its strict devotion to the deity Rhalgr. This changed, however, after the occupation as the area’s temples were laid to waste.

Doma

Upon the eastern banks of Othard lies Doma, the lands from which the ninja and samurai hail. Invaded twenty-five years ago by the Garlean Empire in their relentless effort to expand their borders, this oncepeaceful nation now struggles under the imperial yoke. In the wake of a recent large-scale uprising that ended in failure, a majority the civilians have been stripped of even their most fundamental freedoms.

Azim Steppe ＜Doma＞

A vast expanse of grassland that stretches across the far reaches of northern Othard, the Azim Steppe is said to be the ancestral home of the Au Ra, and remains to this day the home of the nomadic Xaela clan. Devout worshipers of the Dawn Father and the Dusk Mother─Azim and Nhaama─the Xaela are known for their unique set of beliefs. They are divided into fifty different tribes, all of which are very territorial and are engaged in a constant and fierce battle for land.

Yanxia ＜Doma＞

Through Yanxia flows the One River, upon whose shores the city-state of Doma has been built. New City

Kugane

A city across the Ruby Sea from Othard, Kugane stands as the only port in Hingashi whose docks remain open to foreign vessels in the era of occupation. The bustling center of trade boasts a beautiful cityscape and also serves as a den of espionage and political intrigue.

Beast Tribes/Primals

Susano

Lord of the Revel, summoned by the Kojin tribe in an act of desperation. From the myriad of deities housed within the three sacred treasures of the Kojin, Susano stepped forth to answer their pleas for deliverance. This divinity of the sea sees battle as a celebration, but challengers will find no revelry nor mercy at the edge of his fabled blade, Ame no Murakumo.

Kojin

An aquatic beast tribe commonly found on and near the Ruby Sea. Their settlements lay beneath the waves, where they thrive on the endless bounties of the deep. Unlike other beast tribes, they do not worship a single deity, for they believe gods exists in all things. Perhaps in part due to this conviction, they have a penchant trading and collecting all manner of effects.

Lakshmi

The Lady of Bliss, beloved deity of the serpentine Ananta tribe. Legends tell of a beauty without equal, a benevolent goddess whose coming brings the promise of halcyon days and bountiful harvests. Some believe she has imparted her life-bestowing powers to her most fervent followers─the Ananta. Lakshmi, in her infinite mercy, would shelter them from harm, granting them succor with her alluring embrace. B

Ananta

A serpent-like people who inhabit the mountains of Gyr Abania. Consisting solely of women, this tribe has existed since the time of the Allagans, and is famed for their proficiency with gemcraft, employing age-old magicks handed down through generations.

New Job: Samurai

Far across the rolling waves, towards the rising sun, there lies the island nation of Hingashi. In the distant past, the realm’s great lords vied for supremacy over its sea-girt confines in a long and bloody conflict. And taking to battle in their lieges’ names were noble swordsmen whose art was forged in the crucible of war: the samurai. Eventually, the nation was unified under one banner, and these warriors came to wield their katana not upon fields as part of an army, but upon streets as protectors of the peace. But as a neglected blade grows dull with rust, so too do men forget their purpose. Amidst waning memories of the old ways, a determined few hold fast to their convictions, hands by katana grips, awaiting the moment for steel to sing.

New Job: Red Mage

On the eastern edge of Abalathia’s Spine lies the mountainous region of Gyr Abania. It is in these elevated lands that people took shelter, when a burning star guided them away from the Sixth Umbral Calamity’s treacherous floodwaters. The survivors gathered from near and far, and amongst them were refugees of the sorcerous cities of Mhach and Amdapor. These sworn enemies buried their history for the sake of the future, and cast aside their vestments of black and white. Upon the remnants of their arts a new discipline was built, and the first red mages stepped forward with rapiers in hand to fight back against the rising tides of destruction.

Swimming and Diving

Ever fancied going for a dip in Eorzea’s pristine waters, or wondered what lies beneath the ocean depths? Wonder no longer because swimming is coming to FFXIV! What’s more, players will even be able to explore under the sea once they complete a certain quest. Finally, an excuse to dust off that bathing suit lying in the back of your cupboard!

Fourth Residential District: Shirogane

The new residential area you’ve all been waiting for is finally here! Shirogane is an island belonging to the Far Eastern nation of Hingashi that will be opened up to adventurers who frequent the port of Kugane. Those with a fondness for Far Eastern aesthetics are sure to find it the perfect place to call home.

Increased Level Cap

The level cap for jobs and classes is going to be raised from 60 to 70! Players will need to make full use of all the new powers at their disposal in a fresh batch of exhilarating job quests.

Increased Furnishing Limits

Hoarders rejoice! The number of indoor furnishings that can adorn your dwellings is going to double. Players will soon be able to fill cottages with two hundred items, houses with three hundred, and mansions with a whopping four hundred items! New Features

se avete un pò di tempo libero guardatevi questo bel documentario sulla morte e resurrezione di ff14

SE viene sempre criticata eppure hanno fatto una roba incredibile con questo gioco, persone come yoshida o il team che ha ricreato da zero un gioco morto e sepolto dovrebbero avere molta piu attenzione e rispetto per il lavoro che hanno fatto :sisi:

Ryuuku, Yoshida ha fatto un buon lavoro (e indubbiamente non era affatto facile viste le premesse), ma una compagnia che rilascia un gioco pessimo a tal punto da essere costretta a ritirarlo dal mercato e rifarlo da zero non è certo una compagnia degna di alcun tipo di lode. Tutto l'opposto. Una buona compagnia dovrebbe saper capire se il gioco è una cagata oppure no ben prima di farlo uscire. E nel momento in cui il gioco si rivela una cagata, dovrebbe cercare di risolvere i problemi e migliorarlo ritardandone l'uscita sul mercato, e non cercare di vendertelo lo stesso sfruttando il nome FF...

SQEX non ha rifatto da zero FFXIV per buon cuore o perché si sentiva in colpa, ma solo perché era economicamente l'unica scelta viabile.

Comunque, con l'uscita della patch 4.01 ci sono alcune novità e vari nuovi artwork.

Today Square Enix released Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood‘s update 4.01, and to celebrate, they also launched some lovely new artwork.
We get to see character arts for Lyse, Hien, Yugiri and Gosetsu by talented Lead Concept Artist Yosuke Mogi. On top of that, two visuals of the new red mage and samurai classes are also included, coming directly from Square Enix Visual Works studio. You can see them at the bottom of the post.

The update is fairly light, weighing only 217.42 megabytes on PC, but the file size is definitely misleading on its scope. The quest “The Hunt for Omega” from Wedge in Rhalgr’s Reach opens the first raid of the expansion, titled Omega: Deltascape. It comes with four levels, Deltascape V1.0, Deltascape V2.0, Deltascape V3.0 and Deltascape V4.0.

At the end of each level, tokens will be granted, and you will be able to use them with Gelfradus in Rhalgr’s Reach for the next level in gear progression. Entering via duty finder requires average item level 295.

At the moment, only the normal mode of Omega: Deltascape will be available, while the savage mode for hardcore raiders has been said to come with patch 4.05 on July 18th.

New gear, a new mount and new minions have also been added, and a few relevant changes have been made to jobs. Bards’ Troubadour will finally affect the bards themselves and not just other party members. Tanks complained about decreased aggro generation after the launch of the expansion, and they’re all seeing their basic enmity generation actions buffed.

vabbè io apprezzo chi sbaglia e perlomeno rimedia all'errore, indipendentemente dalle motivazioni che siano piu o meno onorevoli.

chi sbaglia e lascia perdere fregandosene è molto peggio per come la vedo io

e piu che altro apprezzo il lavoro fatto dagli sviluppatori e il nuovo team che ha creato un mmo ottimo in poco tempo (mi riferivo a loro non a SE in generale), il management di SE si è dimostrato piu volte impreparato e non all'altezza, tant'è che dai video traspare proprio questo, errori e scelte scellerate da parte di chi comanda e chi doveva supervisionare il progetto, come mettere la gente migliore a lavorare ad un motore grafico che ha creato solo problemi rallentando di fatto tutti i giochi in produzione o l'arroganza di credere che un gioco rotto potesse andare bene lo stesso tanto è "final fantasy".

Ciao ragazzi, non so se è la sezione giusta, però avrei bisogno di un'informazione. Vorrei cominciare anche io a giocare a Final Fantasy XIV (sono su PS4), però non ho una gilda. Ne sto cercando una attiva, ho esperienza con gli MMO su The Elder Scroll Online e vorrei davvero imparare a giocare anche questo (mi va bene qualunque server, creerò un pg da zero). Vi ringrazio in anticipo.
