It is said that if you collect the Golden Fragments, you’ll gain the power to rewrite the world. Yurina is a girl traveling the world in search of those Golden Fragments.

On the way to Leanbox, a place indicated by her Golden Fragment, Yurina hears a sudden noise deep in the forest and rushes toward it.

There, she meets two girls, IF and Compa, who are confronted by girl who calls herself Neptune and is pulling monsters along.

Chapter 1: The Curtain Rises on Leanbox

The party arrives in Leanbox.

In trying to meet the goddess Vert, a large group of monsters appears within Leanbox, bringing crisis to the nation.

The party assists in repelling the monsters and try to join up with Vert.

However, no one knows that an unsettling shadow is moving in the background of this mass monster outbreak.

Idea Factory International has revealed the Steam release date for their game MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies, coming to PC-via Steam on October 3.
The publisher is launching the game with a 40% discount with all the DLC available from the PlayStation Vita version pre-installed in the Steam copy.

The publisher details the Steam version further:

@Four Goddesses Online Cyber Dimension Neptune

Most of the reports I've seen come from 2ch (I've looked around but there wasn't anything elsewhere), so take that with a grain of salt, but apparently whatever it was shown looked "different" from usual and ran at 1080p. Apparently it has an interface that mimics online games, complete with chatbar. There were EX attacks, and one comment said that motion was handmade.Also it was shown on PS4, apparently.

Sono tipo le info più ovvie del mondo, altro che grain of salt, è tutta roba pressoché assodata. //content.invisioncic.com/a283374/emoticons/emoticons_dent1005.gif

E' su PS4 perché è fatto con UE4, che su PSV non gira mica tanto bene, ed essendo intitolato 4 Goddess Online ci mancherebbe che non scimmiotti i MMO, non avrebbe senso altrimenti.

Personalmente, sono molto poco fiducioso su questo titolo però... la Tamsoft non ci ha dato nessun titolo di Npetunia davvero decente (l'unico spin-off davvero buono è quello di Noire, fatto da Sting), ed erano pure tutti progettini abbastanza piccoli, che quindi potevano essere seguiti e sviluppati con un certo agio. Se questo vuol passare per un finto MMO dovrà avere una certa complessità e ricchezza di contenuti, quindi...

Today Compile Heart sent a press release to officially announce that the upcoming Four Goddesses Online: Cyber Dimension Neptune, will use Unreal Engine 4.
Interestingly, the press release also included the first artwork released for the game, which you can see above.

Incidentally, the game isn’t online at all. It simply features the goddesses playing in a MMORPG as a plot device, which is why they are portrayed in the artwork as fantasy heroines.

Unreal Engine 4 was chosen in order to explore new visuals, as mentioned by Idea Factory’s Takahisa Kochiwa, who promised screenshots and videos down the line, hoping that fans will look forward to the visual representation of dungeons and characters.

Epic Games Japan’s Takayuki Kawasaki also commented that from the first time he saw the title the visual quality has increased greatly, and he was surprised by the speed with which the development team has learned to use the engine. He looks forward to the game showing new possibilities with Unreal Engine 4 thanks to its traditional Japanese style.

At the moment, the developer is keeping the title under wraps. Not even the platforms are known, so we’ll have to wait for more information.
