Idea Factory International has released a new set of Megadimension Neptunia VIIR screenshots showcasing the Gold Third and giant battles.
Here is an overview of the Gold Third and giant battles, via Idea Factory International:

Gamindustri’s CPU Goddesses wake up in a different dimension and find their nations are ruled by an unknown quartet who call themselves, Gold Third. Not only do they need to win back their nations and the hearts of their people, but they also have to protect Gamindustri from giant dark versions of themselves!

Take advantage of the “sharing-field” created by Uzume, to hop platforms, use special attacks, and formation skills to defeat these mysterious Giant Dark CPUs!

Story

Gamindustri – a world sitting at the convergence of multiple dimensions. Of these existed the Zero Dimension, a world on the brink of collapse.

Zero Dimension’s last guardian, Uzume Tennouboshi, waged a war against a mysterious evil known as the Dark CPU. Her desperate cries for help crossed dimensions and reached Neptune, the CPU of Planeptune, who would leave her world to join the fight.

Their fateful meeting would open the path to a new adventure.

And once their world is saved, they’ll join you in yours!

Nel prossimo numero di Dengeki PlayStation avremo le prime info su Brave Neptunia, l'RPG in 2D sviluppato dai canadesi di Artisan Studios.

Intanto abbiamo un nuovo video in cui Norihisa Kochiwa parla del gioco: sappiamo così che è per PS4 e che come sottotitolo fa (tradotto): "Brave Neptunia: Behold World and Space!! Ultimate RPG Declaration!!"

Mi auguro in occidente cancellino totalmente questo sottotitolo.

Here is what we currently know about the game’s characters:Chrome (voiced by ???) – A mysterious girl who meets Neptune in this world.

Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert – The four goddesses have lost their memories, and will start their relationships from the first encounter.

Kukei Tsutahachi (voiced by Youko Hikasa)

Mai Kamimura (voiced by Ellen Taira)

Surara Ideta (voiced by Tomoko Kaneda) – She repeats things like “hoyohoyo” and “dayodayo” at the ends of sentences.

Histoire – She has become a book.

And here are a few additional tidbits of information:

The scenario is being handled by Shougo Mukai. According to Mukai, “The scenario may be more incredibly cheerful than ever.”

It is set in the world of Gamindustri.

Dungeons are 2D, but are not a straight path. They are shaped like labyrinths with interior points that you can move to.

Combat seems to be like Valkyrie Profile in that when each button is pressed, the assigned character attacks.

StoryA self-proclaimed hero and her merry companions travel around the world.

2D games—planar games made up of pixels and illustrations. In one of many dimensions, there exists a Gamindustri built upon 2D games.

In this world ruled by an organization called “Silkworm,” which worships 2D games, people create 2D games and pay taxes in game casettes.

It is rumored that those who produce poor games and games that make use of new technologies are sent to the trial grounds, where their spirits are destroyed. In this Gameindustri, which damns that sort of future to hell, a girl who lost her memories awakens.

The girl, who knows not left from right, headed to the neighboring town under the order of Silkworm, but monsters blocked her way. She fought back with a cypress stick that had dropped and won a splendid victory.

It was then that she knew for certain. That she is a hero, the protagonist of this game named Neptune. The self-proclaimed hero Neptune will encounter various people and go on a journey with a mysterious book (Histoire).

Characters

Neptune

The overwhelming protagonist whose name is even in the title of the game.

However, when she regained consciousness, she had lost her memories and could only remember her name. She could not recall what kind of person she was at all.

Once a monster attacked, she was convinced that she is a “hero.” And with her inborn, unnecessarily high energy, she gathers up friends and sets off on a journey to discover the truth.

Noire

When she regained consciousness, she had lost her memories and began looking for clues as to who she is. The only thing she could remember is her name.

After encountering Blanc, who had also lost her memories, she lives with her via the rewards they earned at the guild.

The considerable lack of clues to her memories often cause her to become irritated. However, it seems as though she feels refreshed after laying down.

Blanc

When she regained consciousness, she had lost her memories and could only remember her name.

She lives with Noire, who also lost her memories, via the rewards they earned at the guild.

She has a vigorous spirit of inquiry for when it comes to books, while the search for her memories comes second.

She is quick-witted, but when she does not know what to do, she has an intracranial meeting to figure out a solution.

Vert

She was taken in by an innkeeper when she collapsed, and has since been living rent-free.

She lost her memories and can only remember her name.

In exchange for dropping off supplies at a nearby resistance base, she gets to continue living a life of playing games forever.

She is happy with this life and seems to be comparatively indifferent about her memories.

Histoire

A reasonably thick book.

There are some unreadable characters within its contents.

It seems to have emotions, and sometimes shines.

Cavolacchio, finalmente ero deciso ad avvicinarmi alla serie, pronto a sacrificare i soldi necessari alle spese di spedizione dallo store di Iffy...

Pronto a prendere almeno uno dei titoli PSV (visto che mi sembra di capire che i prezzi siano i più bassi, anche se devo ancora vedere su PSStore ora che ci penso (EDIT: Eh infatti attualmente sul PSStore sono praticamente tutti scontati sotto i 10€, considerando che ormai non c'è più speranza per le limited forse mi conviene prenderli lì e amen... o aspettare le versioni PS4 )), preordinando magari anche VIIR per togliermi il gusto di avere una limited di sta serie...

Entro qui per curiosità e scopro che riportano il primo capitolo su PS4... E che quindi probabilmente porteranno anche 2 e V... WTF.

Che fare ora?

Comunque, non avendo giocato il VII originale secondo voi VIIR vale/varrà la spesa?

E qual è la vostra opinione su questa serie in generale?

P.S.: Per chi ci ha già acquistato, com'è lo store Iffy con le spedizioni? Chiedo, visto il costo...
