Dropkick on My Devil! Anime to Start Crowdfunding Towards Season 3

The official website for the anime of Yukiwo's Dropkick on My Devil! (Jashin-chan Dropkick) manga announced on Monday a crowdfunding campaign that will go towards an unannounced third television anime season.


The campaign will launch on Wednesday at noon (Tuesday at 11:00 p.m. EDT) on the Motion Gallery website. (The campaign page is not yet accessible.) The staff aims to raise 20 million yen (about US$190,000).

The anime's website acknowledged that even if the third season were to be green-lit, production will take at least a year. The dilemma for the staff members is that they want to keep on providing content for fans to enjoy until then, but do not have the promotional budget to do so. The crowdfunding campaign aims to let the staff work on making a full-length television anime series, while still providing content to fans every month or so beforehand.

If the campaign reaches its goal, "the Dropkick on My Devil! Production Committee 3 (Working Title) […] would like to officially announce that a third season has been green-lit."

The rewards for backers include messages and an illustration from Yukiwo and Jashin-chan voice actress Aina Suzuki, two new songs to download from the anime's Fallen Pop angel unit and the Destiny Noisy duo (Jashin-chan and Yurine Hanazono), a new "FallePo vs. DesNo" album (with the two units' previous songs, the two new songs, a Blu-ray Disc of the Sabbath Tonic music festival in August, and a new cover art by Yukiwo), a 24-episode "Season 2.5" voice drama set, a season 3 script (from one randomly distributed episode or the entire season), a name listing in the ending credits, and a background cameo in the anime (at the 220,000-yen or US$2,000 level).

Up to three backers (who each pledge 220,000 yen) can create the titles for the episodes in the season, and one backer who pledges 1.1 million yen (about US$10,000) can create the title for the entire season itself (subject to approval by the production committee).

Dropkick on My Devil! Anime Season 3 Reveals Title, 2022 Debut


The official Twitter account for the Dropkick on My Devil! anime announced on Thursday that the show's previously announced third season is titled Dropkick on My Devil! X (Jashin-chan Dropkick X). The staff confirmed that the anime will premiere in 2022, which will be the 10th anniversary of the original manga. The staff had told fans earlier this year of their aim to mark the occasion.

A crowdfunding campaign for the third season launched in September and surpassed its crowdfunding goal in 33 hours, formally green-lighting the third season.

A backer of the campaign, who pledged 1.1 million yen (about US$10,000), named the new season, stating the reasoning was to express affection for the hope that "Yurine and Jashin-chan will continue to cross each other and fight forever." The franchise will also have collaborations with three cities in Hokkaido (Obihiro, Kushiro, Furano) and one city in Nagasaki prefecture (Minami Shimabara).

The campaign launched in September last year and surpassed its crowdfunding goal in 33 hours, and the staff then formally announced the third season.

Dropkick on my Devil!! X Anime Confirms Kushiro Episode

The official website for the city of Kushiro in Hokkaido prefecture confirmed its collaboration with Dropkick on My Devil! X, the third season of the anime adaptations of Yukiwo's Dropkick on My Devil! (Jashin-chan Dropkick) manga, on Friday. The anime will have an episode set in the city, as well as merchandise.

The collaboration with the city is one of four proposed for the anime. Other cities proposed for collaborations include Obihiro and Furano in Hokkaido (Kushiro is also located in Hokkaido), and Minami Shimabara in Nagasaki prefecture. Kushiro's collaboration is part of a crowdfunding campaign, unlocked after exceeding 30 million yen (about US$284,500) raised. A campaign for the third season as a whole launched last September and surpassed its crowdfunding goal in 33 hours, and the staff then formally announced the third season. It ended successfully on December 31 with 2,880 backers raising 36,181,238 yen (about US$351,100).
 
Dropkick on my Devil!! X Anime Casts Rena Hasegawa as Atre

The "Dropkick on My Devil!! Dash Complete 12-Episode Marathon Stream" ended early Sunday morning with cast announcements for Dropkick on My Devil! X, the third anime season based on Yukiwo's Dropkick on My Devil! (Jashin-chan Dropkick) manga. The staff will hold an open audition to cast the vampire princess Ecute, and Rena Hasegawa will play Ecute's instructor Atre.

Both professionals and amateurs of any age can apply for the open Ecute audition by the deadline of June 30. The staff will hold a streaming event in September, and then fans will vote on the 10 finalists to determine the winner during an in-person event on October 2.

Mi ha fatto fare tante risate hanno solamente cazzeggiato tra di loro in giardino ma Jashin già dai primi minuti quando vuole uccidere la sua amica con la super tecnica beh…è stato molto demenziale ma efficace

anche quando litigano per stupidaggini sono sempre esilaranti da morire

 
Ep 6 Jashin lascia la città perché è indebitata come non mai passa qualche mese cerca qualche lavoro ma non è proprio adatta a far nulla finché un giorno non viene vista come divinità e riceve soldi a palate
