Square Enix announced on Sunday during a 30th anniversary livestream for the Seiken Densetsu (Mana) game series that Warner Bros. Japan is producing an anime adaptation of Square Enix's Legend of Mana game.

The anime is titled Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal (Seiken Densetsu Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal in Japanese). Warner Bros. Japan did not announce a debut date for the anime.

Graphinica and Yokohama Animation Lab will produce the anime. The two studios previously collaborated to produce the opening cinematic movie for the remastered version of the Legend of Mana game.

Game series producer Masaru Oyamada commented on the announcement:

When the animation project was first pitched to me, the remastering of “Legend of Mana” was not even in discussion.
I initially attended the meeting without deep thoughts, but when Mr. Yawata from Warner Bros. Japan passionately pitched the “Legend of Mana” animation project (with so much love), I realized I need to created [sic] the game as soon as I can.
So rumor has it, that's how the HD remaster project began.
Fans of the “Legend of Mana”, please be assured.
The people involved in the project still have the love for the series just the same as back then.

L'ho cominciato, non è brutto, ma non è nemmeno niente di che per ora.

Credo di seguirlo per due motivi, mi piace la saga videoludica da cui è tratto e ci vedo del buon fanservice. Inoltre tra pochissimo sarò "orfano" di DQ Dai e questo ci sta alla grande come anime fantasy classico d'altri tempi.

Mi sembra un anime onestissimo da 6.5 se dovessi giudicarlo solo dalle prime due puntate.

Davvero molto curati

Roba davvero anni 80/90, fantasy oltremodo generico da jrpg play/super nintendo.
Tecnicamente non è niente male, chara impressionate, gran direzione artistica, azione passabile, animazioni quanto bastano, al solito stona un po' la cg.
Serie strana, è chiaramente un fantasy generico cazzatina per pubblico giovane ma è anche troppo curato per essere solo quello.

E' carino, un dragon quest calmo.
 
Vista la terza.

Dialoghi abbastanza infantili, pacing soporifero, poi è strutturato in un modo sbagliato, l'hanno voluto fare proprio come il gioco e sembra tutta una quest secondaria con lui che va in giro a parlare con tutti a caso.

Mah non so, sto seguendo già tantissime serie sta stagione, potrei droppare se è tutto così.
