Qualche breve novità su Iceborn.

Finalmente han capito che dovevano scalare la difficoltà in base al numero di giocatori, ché non aveva alcun senso che il mostro avesse uguale HP se lo combattevi in 2 oppure in 4...

Ryozo Tsujimoto announced that coming with the new expansion is a new difficulty scaling for two players, which was added in thanks to feedback from the players.

Basically, so far in Monster Hunter World there have only been difficulty settings for ‘singleplayer’ and ‘multiplayer’, which means that hunts with more than one player would automatically be scaled for four players, no matter how many people there were. With this new scaling option, the game will be scaled down to a more manageable level for two players to handle if it is a two-man party.

Additionally, the game will have a difficulty rescaling function new to Iceborne. This means that if players leave the hunt midway due to whatever reasons, difficulty will be scaled downwards to the more appropriate level depending on the amount of players.

Finally, the developer showcase showed off the new base Seliana, as well as the Hoarfrost Ridge and a fight against the returning Tigrex. You can find the video below (talk and showcase begins at 8:28 mark):

In arrivo una beta PS4 per Iceborn.

Gli utenti plus potranno giocarci dal 21 al 24 giugno, tutti gli altri dal 28 al 1 luglio.

Dettagli sulla beta:

The beta offers players three quest choices, including the beginner-friendly Great Jagras hunt from Monster Hunter: World for newcomers, the brand new horned brute wyvern Banbaro for an intermediate challenge or returning series favorite Tigrex for the fiercest of hunters. The beta will let players test out all 14 weapon types in any of the three quests and the training area. The weapons include new features plus there are new Slinger tool options such as the Clutch Claw grapple mechanic. Upon completing each quest for the first time, hunters can earn a total of three item packs containing helpful consumable items that will be available to use in the full version of the Iceborne expansion when it releases. With more monsters and game info to be revealed, this is just the tip of the Iceborne!

La great sword che va dritta in True è una roba anomala, stuprato il Tigrex.

Anche la long sword che fai "YOU'RE FINISHED" non scherza.

Al Narga hanno tolto i tre saltelli a zig zag, ora ne fa solo uno. In compenso ha due muove mosse: una breve carica con inversione a U e un salto in avanti succeduto da un backflip. Le spine rimangono a terra per uno o due secondi e causano avvelenamento. 

Compare nella quest del Gran Jagras generalmente nell'area 9 o nell'area 8. Vi spawna solo se nella descrizione della missione viene menzionato un "mostro misterioso", e vi deve andare a culo. Ogni volta che completate o fallite una missione, c'è la remota possibilità che la descrizione della quest cambi.

C'è qualcuno che pensa di tornare su MHW in vista di Iceborn?
Giusto oggi ho ripreso a giocare, in media dovrei riuscire a giocare un'oretta o comunque un paio di ore scarse per sera.

Le turf war son la cosa migliore introdotta in World. Anche se non ha senso che tra il Tigrex e quel pippone dell'Anjanath finisca in pareggio. :morristend:
