■ Isuto and Rinne
Isuto (voiced by Toshiki Masuda)

A mysterious young man who has been observing Raj and Amu. He seems to be the only person who knows about the Cocoon World in detail, but he tries not to talk about his background at length. He looks after Folth and company, who were summoned from Lyndbaum, but his true intent is unknown.

Rinne

A life-form from the Cocoon World, same as Patch and Quilt.

■ Amu’s Theme Song

Amu’s theme song is “To Be Alive.” It is sung by Yui Ogura, written by Yoshie Isogai, composed by Komagata Megumi (PureSound), and arranged by Tomoki Kikuya.

■ Story 01

Isuto, who has mysterious powers, is another resident of the Cocoon World. The new visitors from Lyndbaum feel a presence watching them from a distance and it turns out to be Isuto using his superior half-fairy senses. He has been observing them for some time.

Besides that, he protects Folth, Pariet, and Torque. Folth dashes out of the residential area saying they can’t just leave the new visitors on their own. After seeing him off, Isuto slowly shifts his attention to a different vision. In separate locations, Raj meets Magna and Amu meets Nasumi. Isu has been observing Raj and Amu for a long time as well…

■ Characters 01

Lyurm (voiced by Yukari Tamura)

The Guardian Dragon of Lawsburg. Together with Enysha, he brought back the people of Maetropa. Although he inherited his knowledge and power from his predecessor, most of it was taken during his teleportation. His knowledge and power was reduced to a state before it was inherited. Even Lyurm was shocked when he realized that being summoned reduced his power, but he got over it quickly, deciding he would be fine. He sticks by Ray and company.

Lisher (voiced by Yuki Matsuoka)

Ray’s childhood friend. Lisher’s father, Taylor, owns Ray’s shop. After finding the dragon kid Lyurm when he was a child, they fought a gang that was after him. After losing hope in the face of ideals and reality, she kicked and screamed, but managed to grow out of being a selfish daughter. After suddenly getting summoned to the Cocoon World, she panics a bit, but ends up sticking with Ray because she trusts him.

Ray (voiced by Yuki Tai)

A shopkeeper at the Traiul Town inn and an excellent cook. He is a master of the martial arts, since his dad forced him to train. After winning the heated battle known as the “Floating Castle Incident,” he returned to his daily life. He is leaving to go shopping with Lyurm and Lisher when he gets summoned to the Cocoon World. He’s worried about not being home in time to open his shop for the night, so he’s trying to find his way back to his own world as soon as possible.

■ Characters 02

Folth (voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya)

A mediation summoner that belongs to the Outer World Mediation Bureau Eucross with his Cross, Pariet. He has a serious personality but can also be lax. He is making coffee at his part-time job at his landlord’s shop when he gets summoned along with Pariet and Torque, who are nearby. They try to figure out what’s going on and move forward to eventually make contact with Isuto. After getting the gist of the situation from him, they accept his protection.

Pariet (voiced by Mariko Honda)

Folth’s Cross. She belongs to the Outer World Mediation Bureau Eucross with him. She was helping Folth when she was summoned along with Torque from within the shop. She follows Folth’s lead on trying to figure out what’s going on eventually makes contact with Isuto. Since the summon physically weakened her, her solo fighting strength has dropped considerably, but she still does her best to be a help to Folth.

Torque (voiced by Asami Sanada)

A prodigy Meister. He came to Savorle City hoping to discover the secret of the Magical Sword. While relaxing with a cup of Folth’s coffee, he is summoned along with Folth and Pariet. Since being summoned physically weakened him, he often stays in the residential area. With all his free time, he repairs all the broken weapons that appear from somewhere.

■ Story 02

The evil, deceitful, and perjurious demon king Melgitos creeps up on Amu’s party! And a new Linker named Touya appears!

During her journey with her comrades, the voice of a mysterious man whispers in Amu’s mind. If you want to understand yourself, I will tell you—if. The same voice reaches the others, and awakens everyone’s anxiety and darkest memories. This voice belongs to none other than the evil and perjurious demon king Melgitos.

He who delights in deceiving and putting people’s minds on the path to ruin interferes with Amu and company in order to satisfy his own desires. The party got stuck in a tough situation, but a demon woman appears to save them. It was the demon merchant Luchelle and the Linker Touya. In a different time axis, Touya and his partner Keel, along with Toris, fought Melgitos, and tracked the demon king’s threatening movements in order to subdue him. And Luchelle went with him. With the hero Touya’s assistance, who will take on Melgitos?

■ Characters 03

Luchell (voiced by Mai Nakahara)

An elusive merchant demon. She has the rare ability to move between worlds, but doesn’t have any fighting strength. To fulfill the final request of her business partner Mei-Mei, she takes on the role of “Observer.” Mei-Mei’s whereabouts are unclear, but she might have been suddenly drawn into the Cocoon World while traveling.

Melgitos (voiced by Nobutoshi Canna)

The demon king who tried to invade Lyndbaum. He was sealed by the angel Arumine, but when the barrier weakened he came back. He planned to invade Lyndbaum again, but his true intention was to enjoy revenge. However in his world (time axis), the mediators hadn’t come back yet, so he had vast power and nothing to use it for. Then he allowed himself to be summoned to the Cocoon World by a mysterious power, believing that some old rivals were among those summoned to the other time axis.

Keel (voiced by Yusuke Shirai)

The son of Ordreik elected as the person in charge of the Colorless Faction’s demon king advent ceremony. When the ceremony fails, Touya is summoned, which is how they meet. As he observes him, a friendship begins to blossom. He is suddenly summoned while talking to Touya in his own room. Although the summon weakened his magical power, he still offers Touya all kinds of support.

Touya Fukazaki (voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama)

A male student summoned to Lyndbaum from modern day Japan who, through many trials, became one of the legendary Linkers. With his power, he fought against the Colorless Faction leader Ordreik, and defeated the demon king who descended again. After that, he and his partner Keel and friends had been saving the world in secret. He and Keel are suddenly summoned to the Cocoon World and encounter the demon king Melgitos who came from a different time axis. Wondering whether it’s not the demon king who is the ring leader of all this turmoil, he goes after him to defeat him and find out the truth.

Non mi sono spiegato bene, e lo capisco con l'esempio di FE (visto che gli altri due non li ho giocati): qui li presentano tutti come "protagonisti". Ho giocato un solo FE... e i veri "personaggi" sono il gruppetto di 5-6... gli altri son "comparse" tramistiche, poi giocabili permanentemente.

Qui c'hanno tutti la parvenza di far parte del "gruppo principale", non ci sono "cloni" e pur essendo tanti, non sono così tanti da esser riconoscibili da subito come "pedine" di un tattico.

Poi leggo "story 01... story 02..." che roba è?! Mi viene da pensare quasi che siano diverse trame, ognuna coi suoi personaggi, stile Legend of Kartia, o non so quale altro... con -in poche parole- due/tre jrpg in uno. Spiegherebbe il numero di personaggi.

boh deida' secondo me ti stai facendo impressionare dal nulla cosmico, anche ammesso che siano tutti pg principali, basandoci solo su quella lista il cast "principale" non è niente di che come dimensioni, non ce lo vedo il paragone con nessun cast numeroso

per story 01 e 02... nin so neanche io, però solitamente in summon night puoi decidere se usare la main femmena o maschiolo, maybe a sto giro hanno plot separati.. questa separazione però solitamente più che comportare l'avere 2 jrpg in uno significa averne mezzo

edit: tra l'altro mi sa che il paragone con fire emblem non lo hai proprio capito perchè in radiant dawn coi pg plot relevant si va ben oltre i "5-6"

Open World

From the village that becomes the player’s base to the battlefield, the world is represented through one big open world map. After leaving the verdant village, the power of demons known as “oni” will warp space-time and the spirit world will fill the area. The spirit world is full of a dangerous gas, so players must build a foothold and gradually expand their course of action. From towns buried in thick forests, temples in volcanos boiling with lava, and fortresses floating in the sky, Toukiden 2 is a new form of hunting action game that lets players explore a fantastic world where you’ll encounter various characters and oni.

Evolved Action

The “Parts Destruction Action” where you destroy specific parts of an oni’s body has further evolved. Slayers can produce a giant hand known as an “Demon’s Hand” that allows them to pull the oni down to the earth several times. Additionally, the “Complete Parts Destruction” where you destroy the oni’s life force part by part is also possible, and when an oni loses its body parts like its arms or legs, its pattern of actions changes in a big way, so an element of strategy is added to the battle.

New Story

Players are Slayers who battle “oni.” During the battle of “Oomagadoki” that changed the world, a mysterious power engulfs you and you drift to “Mahoroba Village.” The player, who lost his/her memory, is guided by Hakase and other unique friends in chasing the truth of the world, and throw themselves into battle against oni. In Mahoroba Village, where there are various values and situations, a magnificent story about how the world came to be will be told.

New Co-Op Play

As a hunting action game, the familiar online multiplayer element will also be in tact. Furthermore, a new type of co-op play is also planned.

■ Characters

Player

A Slayer who fought in the Yokohama Defensive Battle in Oomagadoki. Engulfed by a mysterious power, he/she lost their memory and ended up in Mahoroba Village.

Hakase (The Doctor)

A doctor who does research and development on devices / mechanisms. She created a marionette called Tokitsugu, as well as the “Demon’s Hand.” She excavates ruins of ancient civilizations in search of the “truth of the world” that lies dormant there. She’s a Slayer who uses a gun.

Tokitsugu

A marionette made by Hakase. The soul of a human is sealed within it. It looks cute on the outside, but is brave on the inside. As an older brother-like character, he pulls along the other Slayers around him. No one is better than him at using a gun.

Gwen

A British girl who came to a foreign settlement in Yokohama. After getting caught up in Oomagadoki, she’s picked up by a special unit on a sacred mountain and becomes a Slayer. As a Shield Sword user, she freely swings her big sword, Nailing.

■ Demons

Shinragou

A large demon with huge, strong arms. During Oomagadoki ten years prior, it led the pack among the oni that overran the world. Its name originates from the malevolent stars that cause a solar eclipse, meaning that it gulps down everything.

Hidaru

A medium-sized demon with long arms and a protruding stomach. It is said to be a kid who grew old. It commands a group of smaller oni, which it could order to attack you.

■ Story 01
Raj and Company Finally Arrive at the Zesshiheki

Having met a number of friends, Raj’s party journeys on and sees a pure white barrier rising in the distance. Raj points to it and calls it “Zesshiheki.” Perhaps the world known as Lyndbaum is on the other side.

Before they head towards Zesshiheki, a woman who calls herself Radylia asks for their help. Thus far she and a blond-haired dragon child named Corlal had been on the move together, but he let himself get captured by a group of mysterious soldiers in order for her to escape.

She had encountered Ioth, the subordinate looking for Luvaid who she previously faced but now leads the soldiers. He too has lost his true personality in the same way.

Ioth (voiced by Yuka Komatsu)

A member of the Black Brigade, he is Luvaid’s always faithful subordinate. He has a bad habit of looking down on those he considers inferior in ability. He went about exploring this world with Luvaid, but they encounter a shadowy figure and Ioth is captured by a mysterious puppet string mid-battle. It distorts and uses his memory of the time he chased after the Saint Amer, using him to lead the shadowy figured soldiers who capture the dragon kid Corlal and take him away as an offering.

Radylia (voiced by Yuki Matsuoka)

Born after the Resonance Reform in Lyndbaum. As system administrator of Mediation summons organization, The Eucross Bureau, she was created by Mother (the future Kunon). She was summoned during training via Folth and Pariet’s Reminiscence system. While exploring this world on her own, she meets Corlal who joins her, but they are found by the soldiers led by Ioth and Corlal is captured.

Corlal (voiced by Junko Iwao)

The guardian dragon of Lawsburg. Immediately after returning from Maetropa across the border, he is summoned in an exhausted state. Together with Radylia, who he comes across, he is looking for a way to return to his original world, but an army led by Ioth surrounds them. Knowing that he is the enemy’s target, he becomes a decoy to let Radylia escape and in the end is captured.

■ Story 02

The “Crimson Tyrant” Saver Blocks the Path

In order to save Ioth, who lost his right mind, a reluctant Aty draws her sword and tries to set Ioth free to the light. However, there was an unexpected intrusion. A young man named Ishlar brandishing a crimson Magical Sword appeared. The “Crimson Tyrant’s” Saver becomes Aty’s opponent and, with the power of the the same Magical Sword, sets up a disturbance that makes Ioth even crazier.

In the heat of the battle, the clash of the pair’s magical power strikes Zesshiheki.

Ishlar (voiced by Kenichi Suzumura)

Azlier’s younger brother. Because of the Colorless Faction, he carried The Demon of Disease’s Summon Curse since the time of his birth, and was thrown into the hell of repeating life and death indefinitely. Even though he becomes a spy in order to have the curse lifted and to regain his health, he is troubled with a guilty conscious regarding his sister. He is summoned to the Cocoon World while on a faction mission. In the other world, he encounters Dyth, and together the two talk and move forward together, but are attacked by their own silhouettes born from the fragments of their memories.

Amu Stands Before the Zesshiheki

With both Zesshiheki and Amu’s party before them, Kanon’s sworn brother Banossa, who he has been looking for, appears along with the opposing party. He is again controlled by a “string,” and in his anger attacks, but then backup surfaces to support against the approaching enemy. Appearing before the surprised Amu and company was the blue Magical Sword-wielding Saver Rexx and the mechanical soldier Le-O-Ld.

And then, at the height of the journey through which Amu made heartening friends, she stood before the Zesshiheki…!

Banossa (voiced by Tetsuya Sakai)

Leader of the delinquent group known as Obtuse who stakes his claim in the Northern Slums of Seijent. Kanon and Banossa are connected through a pledge that makes them sworn brothers, and each trusts and relies on each other. His friends are breaking away from him one by one because they’re frustrated with the current condition of Obtuse. Shortly after he is summoned to the Cocoon World, he is taken control of as a puppet. Unable to comprehend that Kanon came searching for him, he attacks on instinct.

Le-O-Ld (voiced by Yasuhiku Kawazu)

Loreilal’s mechanical soldier. He’s an old-style, but sturdy model, and has an AI with deep loyalty and a strong sense of duty. He fell to the world alone, but as he wandered, met Rexx and caught up on the situation. Together, the pair are searching for a way to return to their original world. As a side-effect of him falling to this world, his power capacity cannot rise, and he can no longer exhibit satisfactory fighting strength. To that extent, he tries to protect his friends using himself as a shield.

Rexx (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai)

An ex-serviceman. He got wrapped up in a contest concerning two Magical Swords and inherited the Green Miracle. He was talking to Azlier about Ishlar when he was suddenly summoned to a Lyndbaum beach at night. At that time, he saw a mysterious figure. But rather than Azlier be summoned to the Cocoon World, he runs into Le-O-Ld, who he moves forward with. The pair join Amu and company to help battle against Banossa.

■ Story 03

The World-Observing Isuto and the Collapse of the Zesshiheki

Isuto, who continues to monitor the Cocoon World, senses a new magical power. It is a young lady named Fair who looks very much like Ray, along with Seilong and a dragon child in the form of a little girl named Milreaf. Seilong is friends with Ray, but Seilong says she doesn’t know him. It seems that these people were not only summoned from the past and future, but also from different time axis. Folth’s hypothesis is proven correct by Isuto, who suddenly appears. And then Isuto tells them of the world-dividing barrier Zesshiheki, which seems to have been broken.

Fair (voiced by Hisako Toujou)

A young girl and shopkeeper who set up an inn at the empire’s inn town Traiul. She stands out above the rest when it comes to cooking. She is a master of the martial arts, since her dad forced her to train. She was summoned while she was shopping with Seilong and Milreaf. She’s worried about not being home in time to open her shop for the night, so she’s trying to find her way back to her own world as soon as possible.

Seilong (voiced by Shinichiro Miki)

Prince of Silturn’s dragon-man clan. In order to protect the dragon child, he lives under the supervision of Fair as a sponger, and works as a staff officer lending out wisdom for battles and various problems. He was shopping with Fair and Milreaf when he was summoned. While he found the situation amusing, he looked for a way to return home with Fair.

Milreaf (voiced by Sakura Nogawa)

Successor of the guardian dragon. She was picked up by Fair as an egg and raised as her daughter. While afraid enemies targeting her, she relies on the love of Fair for protection. Since she lost power when she was summoned, she can only maintain her human figure and lacks any magical power. She gets anxiety from being in an unknown world, but still has faith in her mommy (Fair).

■ Game System

The series’ familiar facilities and side elements will also appear in Summon Night 6. This includes fishing, dispatch quests, cooking, item creation, leaf collecting, completing the Summon Night legacy picture book, and more.

Shop

On Scrap Mountain, Patch, Quilt, and Rinne run a shop. The three love gold coins and will exchange various items for your money.

Blacksmith

A facility on Scrap Mountain tied to the Shop. Through smithery, you can use gold and materials to strengthen your weapons and summon stones. There are 10 different stages for weapon upgrades, and five for summon stone skills. In addition to improving ability and effectiveness, when the strengthening level reaches a certain stage, new skills can be learned as well.

Fishing

You can fish on the pier by the bay. By pressing the button with the right timing the moment the fish is caught, you can then catch the fish by repeatedly pressing the button. By meeting certain conditions, you can raise your fishing rank and obtain new rods and bait. And the kinds of fish you can catch will expand. When you catch fish, you can get things such as reward money or ingredient items.

Cooking

Through cooking, you can create food using ingredient items. By gathering recipes and ingredients, the types of food you can cook will increase. The food you make will be available as an item for effects such as recovery during battle.

Summon Night Leaf

Scattered around the world are scraps of paper containing Lyndbaum’s history (an outline of the Summon Night series) that you can collect. These can be obtained through a variety of elements, including battles, town quests, or even fishing. By obtaining a specific combination of leaves, as they’re called, you’ll be able to read further information in the gallery. Additionally, by collecting Summon Night Leaves, your party skills will increase.

Dispatch Quests

Through dispatch quests, you can dispatch three allies on a quest to battle enemies. The contents of the battles are different than normal, as it’s an auto battle that progresses in real-time where everyone is jumbled together. Depending on the attributes and abilities of the allies you dispatch, your results will change. If a dispatch quest is successful, you’ll get rewards such as experience points, money, and items.

Demon Trader Luchell

At the Cocoon World’s Cafe & Bar is a demon trader named Luchellwho can use her demon powers to help you with a variety of things during your adventure. This includes:

Fortune Telling – Check the favorability of the protagonist and your party members.

Level Drain – Lower the level of your party members to return experience points.

Scenario Rematch – Replay the story-based battles you’ve already cleared.

The Endless Halls – Try to clear a 60-level battle featuring the four attributes machines, demons, spirits, and beasts.

tri-Ace is working with Durarara!! and Baccano! creator Ryogo Narita for an upcoming smartphone action RPG called Heaven x Inferno. The game’s first teaser trailer gives us a glimpse of its gameplay.
As previously reported, Heaven x Inferno’s world is split between the three worlds of the heavens of “Aura,” the human realm of “Terra Septem,” the netherworld Gehenna. It takes place in a world with only humans, as angels and demons vanished after a thousand-year war between God and the demons.

The gameplay revolves around blasting enemies off the heavens, knocking them down in the netherworld. The enemy strength changes according to the hierarchy of the netherworld, human realm, and heaven.

Basically, the game revolves around blasting enemies up to the heavens and hitting them down to hell. While we don’t have any other details on how the game plays, you can get an idea on the bits of gameplay shown on the teaser trailer

The smartphone RPG is being written by Ryogo Narita and will have music composed by Yuzo Koshiro.

Heaven x Inferno will release in Japan in spring 2016 for Android and iPhone. It’ll be free-to-play with premium items purchasable with cash.

Experience has released the second official trailer and announced an eight-hour free trial for the Xbox One version of Stranger of Sword City due out alongside the game in North America on March 22.
The new trailer was released in two formats, one with the classic character portrait style by Yoko Tsukamoto, and the other with the new character portrait style by oxijiyen. Players can switch between the two at any time while playing.

The free trial is the full game with an eight-hour time limit. You’ll be able to earn and keep achievements earned in the demo, and the save data you create can be carried over to the full version of the game.

While Experience is publishing the Xbox One version of Stranger of Sword City digitally, NIS America will release the PS Vita version both physically and digitally a month later on April 26 in North America and April 29 in Europe.
