Warner Bros. Japan announced on Sunday that Mato Sato and Nilitsu's The Executioner and Her Way of Life (Shokei Shōjo no Virgin Road) light novel series is getting a television anime adaptation.

Warner Bros. Japan also revealed the main voice cast and character descriptions:

• Iori Saeki as Menou, the Executioner. A young executioner girl who has exceptional magical talent. She is strongly dedicated to her mission and tries to finish off Akari before her power gets out of hands. She gets close to her targets with friendly manner to grasp their ability before killing them. Her main weapons are short blade and sacred scripture.
• Moeka Kishimoto as Akari, the Lost One. She is affectionate and easy-going. Menou is unable to kill her because of her ability even though she is not aware of it herself. She begins her journey with Menou, without knowing her true intentions.

Yen Press is releasing the novels under the title Virgin Road in English, and it describes the story:

The Lost Ones are wanderers who come here from a distant world known as "Japan." No one knows how or why they leave their homes. The only thing that is certain is that they bring disaster and calamity. The duty of exterminating them without remorse falls to Menou, a young Executioner. When she meets Akari, it seems like just another job...until she discovers it's impossible to kill this girl! And when Menou begins to search for a way to defeat this immortality, Akari is more than happy to tag along! So begins a journey that will change Menou forever...

The Executioner and Her Way of Life Anime Unveils Main Staff, 2022 Debut

The official website for the television anime of Mato Satō and Nilitsu's The Executioner and Her Way of Life (Shokei Shōjo no Virgin Road) light novel series updated on Thursday and unveiled the anime's main staff, 2022 premiere, new teaser visual, and color character designs on Thursday.

Yoshiki Kawasaki (Ascendance of a Bookworm, Honzuki no Gekokujō assistant director) is directing the anime at J.C. Staff, and Shogo Yasukawa (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Hyperdimension Neptunia) is supervising the series scripts. Keiko Tamaki (Cells at Work! sub-character designs) is designing the characters. Jin Aketagawa is directing the sound, and MICHIRU (Ascendance of a Bookworm, Given, Honzuki no Gekokujō) is composing the music. EGG FIRM and SB Creative are producing.

Moe Kahara is voicing Akari; she was credited under her previous name in the entertainment industry, Moeka Kishimoto, but changed her name this month.

Ho visto ora che c’è il topic beh dopo il settimo e l’ottavo episodio che erano più una fase di preparazione e informazione vediamo un buon nono episodio tutto sommato carino seppur sbrigativo lo scontro tra Menou e la principessa con sempre buona azione e ottima strategia, Libelle che sa già che Akari viene dal Giappone e svela che fa viaggi nel tempo ma soprattutto spiace per la piccola Momo che rimane ferita mentre cerca di salvare quella bambina già in fin di vita a fine puntata.
In generale se non ci fossero stati i momenti infantili di Akari sarebbe stato molto meglio (invece quelli pucci e di fanservice ci stanno) perché quando fa la decisa come ora sembra tutt’altra ragazza, e invece negli episodi precedenti quando parlano della droga che trasforma in mostri come fosse una metafora sta cosa mi è piaciuta parecchio il nome tradotto un po’ meno però strappa un sorriso

Ep 10 molto bella la parte di Manon con il passato dei suoi genitori

Sua madre aveva il concetto pure uguale ad Akari e sua padre era del faust ma lei giustamente più usava il suo potere e meno si ricordava di quando stavano assieme e purtroppo la madre viene uccisa da Flare minacciandola che se avesse usato il suo potere lei avrebbe ucciso Manon

ma soprattutto

è molto divertente vedere l’azione in questo Anime davvero molto gasante ciò che hanno fatto vedere nello scontro tra Menou e Manon e quest’ultima ovviamente svela le sue carte con un potere del suo concetto puro forse pure peggio di quello di Akari che la rende immortale e riesce a evocare un sacco di mostri finendo così lasciandoci in suspense

nella prossima ne vedremo delle belle

Molto bello lo scontro tra Menou Principessa vs Pandemonium e molto interessanti anche le varie rivelazioni con alcune piccole sorprese vediamo cosa succede visto che i poteri di Akari sembrano inutili e Pandemonium pare invincibile…
