An official teaser website opened on Friday to announce that Square Enix's The World Ends with You (Subarashiki Kono Sekai) action role-playing game is inspiring an anime adaptation. Square Enix will reveal more information about that game at the digital Anime Expo Lite event, which will stream from July 3-4.

Anime Expo Lite revealed The World Ends with You art on May 27 that was originally intended to appear on the Anime Expo 2020 physical event's program guide cover.

The World Ends With You Anime Debuts Worldwide in 2021

A panel at the Anime Expo Lite virtual event on Saturday revealed that the anime adaptation of Square Enix's The World Ends with You (Subarashiki Kono Sekai) action role-playing game will be available worldwide in 2021. The title of the anime is The World Ends with You the Animation (Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation).

The panel also revealed promotional video and a visual.

Takeharu Ishimoto is returning from the game to compose music for the anime. He stated he created music this time based on the fact that the anime is now in a different time period and is for an anime instead of for a game. The panel featured background music that will be in the anime.

Kazuya Ichikawa (Monster Strike the Animation, Clean Freak! Aoyama kun, Tantei Team KZ Jiken Note) is directing the anime. Midori Gotou at Sanzigen is the screenwriter. Tetsuya Nomura and Gen Kobayashi are credited with the character designs. DOMERICA (Flying Witch Petit) and Shin-Ei Animation (Mysterious Joker, Doraemon) are producing the anime.

Square Enix began streaming a 90-second special video for The World Ends with You the Animation (Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation), the anime adaptation of Square Enix's The World Ends with You (Subarashiki Kono Sekai) action role-playing game, on Friday. The Super Animeism programming block on the 28-affiliate network of MBS and TBS previewed the first episode of the anime on the same day.



The anime will be available worldwide in 2021, and it will also air on the Super Animeism programming block.

Musicalmente mi piace anche se con un mood totalmente diverso da Twister... la voce del cantante invece non tanto.
Ecco mi ero perso che pur essendo lo stesso compositore l'ost verrà riscritta per "adattarla meglio all'anime"...

Comunque in azione continua sembrare non male.

The World Ends With You Anime's 3rd Video Previews ASCA's Ending Song

The official website for The World Ends with You the Animation (Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation), the anime of Square Enix's The World Ends with You (Subarashiki Kono Sekai) action role-playing game, posted its third promotional video on Monday. The video reviews the ending theme song "Carpe Diem" by singer ASCA and the franchise's composer Takeharu Ishimoto. Ilya Kuvshinov, a fan of the original game and the character designer of Birthday Wonderland and Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, worked on the ending animation for the television anime.

The anime's main cast wil appear in a live-streamed "UG Shibuya Fes" event on March 14 with the world premiere of the first episode and a digital "UG Shibuya Museum" exhibit.

The anime will premiere on April 9 on the Super Animeism programming block on MBS, TBS, and their countrywide network of 26 other affiliates. The anime will get a special program featuring the main cast on April 2.
