PS4 Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince

Trine 3, a fantasy adventure game, suffered somewhat at release because its switch to 3D resulted in a shorter game length and a cliffhanger ending which fans were largely not happy about. Many had feared this would be the end of the series, but this document seems to reassuringly point to another Trine game being in the works. Yes, Frozenbyte is apparently working on Trine 4.






While the full list is no longer available on the EACEA website, you can still check out a copy hosted by GameReactor who first spotted the publicly available list. While many of the other games are not confirmed final titles, it's still worth a peruse if you're curious if your favourite indie team might have something in the works.

Trine 3 era un bel gioco ma praticamente finiva ad un terzo della storia. Una cosa tremenda  Un nuovo capitolo lo giocherei volentieri, ma questa volta mi aspetto un titolo completo.

Triple I Video Game Publisher Modus to Publish Frozenbyte’s Trine 4

Premier indie video game publisher Modus Games today announced their partnership with Frozenbyte to release Trine 4 next year for PlayStationâ4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

The fantasy action series has sold over 8 million copies worldwide and has been consistently praised since its first game, Trine, released in 2009. Over the past three years since its last installment, fans have voiced their desire for another title from the popular franchise, and 2019 will see their wishes materialize.

“We are absolutely thrilled to embark on this journey with Frozenbyte,” said Christina Seelye, CEO of Modus Games. “There’s no doubt Trine 4 will be the game players have been asking for.”

“Trine 4 is going to be the best in the series,” said Lauri Hyvärinen, CEO of Frozenbyte. “We have rekindled our love for the franchise, heard and seen the fan feedback, and our hearts are set on exceeding those expectations. Trine is back!”

Devo ancora giocare il 3, ma i primi due mi erano piaciuti molto, in coop locale poi grasse risate. Una collection retail quasi quasi...

il 3 fu uno scandalo, grande budget, eppure per il fatto di aver voluto portare il gioco in total 3d han finito i soldi al 30% dello sviluppo e lo han pubblicato cosi come era ( infatti mai preso )  , vedo che con il 4 son tornati indietro, vedremo

Ah, ma quindi torna ad essere un classico platform in 2D. Bello eh, bellissimo, però speravo mantenessero la struttura del terzo capitolo, il combat system non mi dispiaceva e soprattutto gli scontri con i freaaker erano molto divertenti. Visivamente è il solito capolavoro, a partire dalla palette cromatica.

Provato grazie al now, debbo dire davvero carino come i precedenti, ed è davvero bello da guardare ( a parte i volti/visi) e da giocare, spero continui così
