Bigben and Games Workshop Sign a License Agreement Bigben and Games Workshop are happy to announce their partnership for the development of a console and PC game based on the renowned Warhammer Fantasy Battles IP. This adaptation of the franchise will be the first Hack and Slash game to unfold in the Warhammer world. The game takes place in the Old World, a dark and bloody continent devastated by the wars against Chaos. Dive into the heart of the Warhammer story, become a hero and battle to survive the desolation. The French studio Eko Software, known for attracting millions of survivors in the How to Survive series, was entrusted with the new Warhammer Fantasy Battles adaptation. “We are very pleased to work with Games Workshop developing a game which draws from the incredible potential of the Warhammer world. The Eko Software and Bigben teams have long been fans of this franchise from day one, including myself. Bigben Will Publish a New Title Based in the Warhammer World: Warhammer: Chaosbane
Bigben, Games Workshop and Eko Software are glad to reveal the name of the next console and PC game based on the famous Warhammer license: Warhammer: Chaosbane.

The development of the title is being done by Eko Software, a French studio who has demonstrated great skill in the hack’n slash genre with How to Survive 1 and 2, a series which captivated millions of players.

This adaptation of the franchise will be the first Action-RPG to take place in the Warhammer Fantasy world. The game takes place in the Old World, a dark and bloody continent devastated by wars against Chaos.

In Warhammer: Chaosbane, the player will be plunged into the middle of Old World history as they embody a human, a high elf, a wood elf, or a dwarf and discover several iconic locations such as the cursed city of Praag, or Nuln, the old capital of the Empire.

Warhammer: Chaosbane is currently in development and will be available on console and PC.

Perchè Games Workshop fa uscire 60 giochi mediocri di WH all'anno invece di farne uno ogni tot però coi controcacchi? di gioco veramente Top è uscito solo il total war.

Buon feeling da arpg vecchia scuola, i comandi per il pad sono ottimizzati egregiamente, classe Imperiale e Mago ben caratterizzate come fight e skill (il secondo molto più divertente, il primo forse un po' troppo "tankish"), tanti nemici, grafica nel complesso buona e superiore a Diablo 3 e atmosfera/design gotico azzeccato. Uniche incognite sono le altre 2 classi (nano e scout) non presenti in beta, il proseguo della trama e la qualità dell'endgame, però da quanto visto si profila un prodotto molto buono. Per i fan del genere è sicuramente da tenere d'occhio
