Nuovi dettagli su Yakuza: Like a Dragon per PS4

(Ma quanta roba c'è in questo gioco? C'è una news al giorno...)

Comunque daje di Tug-Tug.

■ Introducing New Features “Tug-Tug,” “Crest Collection,” and More

“Tug-Tug”

Sometimes people who provide a special service called “Tug-Tug” will appear in the city. By recieving the “Tug-Tug,” various benifits can be obtained including recovery of HP or MP, or improvements to protagonist Ichiban Kasuga’s Life Experience.

—A lady offers to provide Kasuga her “Tug-Tug” services. It is expensive, but will the effects be worth it?

(Editor’s Note: This is a play on the Dragon Quest series’ “Puff-Puff” element.)

“Crest Collection”

When you walk throughout the city, you will sometimes find crests from the Tojo Clan in bushes and on sidewalks. These crests seem to have been scattered due to the conflict with the Omi Alliance. A person dressing up as Kamurop, Kamurocho’s mascot character, seems to be collecting them before they end up in the wrong hands. If you bring him these crests, you will be able to exchange them for items you will not be able to find anywhere else.

—The Tojo Clan’s crests are scattered in various places. Look carefully for them because you might end up finding them in the most suprising locations.

—Kamurop awaits at a certain spot in Isesaki Ijincho. Bring him the crests you collect to trade them in for stuff.

—Not only you can get equipment for the crests, there are also some items that can only be obtained by trading in crests.

“Party Chat”

Adding more fun to walking around the city is the dialogue feature called “Party Chat.” Depending on what Kasuga is doing, the time of the day, and the location, you can listen to chats between party members. Enjoy the dialogue and discover something new about your party members by exploring all over the city.

—When Kasuga and Namba are walking along the sea in Hamakita Park, they will start talking about sushi.

“Smartphone Camera”

Your smartphone has a camera. You can take pictures and apply filters to them such as “monotone,” “toy camera,” or “sepia.” When you take a selfie, you can change Kasuga’s facial expressions. You can even add decorations to your pictures such as pig noses and cat ears. Your photos can be checked at anytime through the in game smartphone’s “Album” feature. Record your memories with allies in different locations throughout the city.

Sega has detailed the day one downloadable content for Yakuza: Like a Dragon in Japan, which include the special jobs (character classes) “Demon” and “Bosslady,” and more.

Get the details below.

■ Costume Changes

The costume changes that occur when you change jobs can normally only be used in battle, but after you clear the main story, you can walk around the city and play mini-games while wearing those costumes. Even simply changing the costumes you obtained via downloadable content and walking around the city will bring a completely new experience to the game and offer a new sense of enjoyment.

■ Job Downloadable Content

A bundle including both the Demon job and Bosslady Job is available for 680 yen.

Special Job: Demon (500 yen)

Allows all male characters to change to the “Demon” job. The Demon fights wielding an electric guitar, and uses a violent battle style and various skills that give off the impression of putting on a wild concert performance. In addition to guitar-based attacks, the Demon can also use a chainsaw, fumes, and a cold bazooka, and possesses many attacks that can inflict enemies with status ailments, making it a job worthy of its name. He also has tricky skills such as “Bloodsucker,” where he bites the enemy and sucks their blood to restore HP.

Special Job: Bosslady (300 yen)

Allows female characters to change to the “Bosslady” job. The Bosslady fights wielding a long-reaching halberd and uses an aggressive battle style. In addition to the halberd, she can also use many aggressive skills such as those that deal major damage to surrounding enemies with a machine gun. With skills that can deal major damage to a single enemy, as well as those that can simultaneously damage several enemies, she is a well-balanced job and a perfect front line fighter. Other than attacks, she can also learn handy support skills such as healing party members from status ailments.

■ Costume Downloadable Content

Legacy Characters Costume Set (500 yen)

Includes the Kazuma Kiryu costume for Kasuga, Goro Majima costume for Namba, Makoto Date costume for Adachi, Shun Akiyama costume for Joon-gi Han, and Taiga Saejima costume for Zhao.

Mascot Head & Armor Set (500 yen)

Includes the head armor “Hassaku Face” (x1), body armor “ONO Trainer” (x1), leg armor “Cool Long Boots” (x1), and accessory “Fish Pocket” (x1).

■ Full Music & CD Set

At the karaoke bar Survive Bar, where Kasuga and company hang out, you can change the background music that plays in the store by coming into possession of CDs. These add-ons are CD sets of songs that appear in the Karaoke mini-game from Yakuza: Like a Dragon, as well for popular songs that appeared in the Karaoke mini-games of past Yakuza games. Every song is full-length and includes its full-size sound source data, allowing you listen to it any time, even when the game is not running.

There are four music packs available, each priced at 800 yen and including six songs. A bundle including all four sets is available for 2,480 yen.

■ Talented Employee Pack

Downloadable content to obtain characters that help Kasuga as employees in “Corporate Management” mode. By hiring talented employees, you can progress through this mode with the upper hand.

There are three packs available, each priced at 500 yen (except for the third pack, which is priced at 200 yen). A bundle including all three packs is available for 980 yen.

All of the downloadable content above is available now via the Japanese PlayStation Store.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon launched for PlayStation 4 today in Japan, and is due out in 2020 in the Americas and Europe. A demo is available now. Read more about the game hereherehereherehereherehereherehereherehereherehereherehereherehereherehereherehereherehere, and here.

A listing for Yakuza: Like a Dragon has appeared on SteamDB, which tracks updates to games and applications in the Steam backend. A Steam store link is provided, but not yet live.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon first launched for PlayStation 4 on January 16 in Japan and Asia, and has already been announced for a 2020 release for the same platform in the Americas and Europe. This would be the first confirmation of a PC version.

A demo is available now in Japan. If you missed our previous coverage, read more about the game here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.

Get ready to spend time with Ichiban Kasuga. Yakuza: Like a Dragon showed up for the first Xbox 20/20 presentation. The game will be leaving Japan in . Most interestingly, it won’t just be on the PlayStation 4 like it was in Japan. It’ll be out on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows 10 PC as well. It will be a part of the “launch slate” for the Xbox Series X.

This comes a few days after a suspicious Yakuza: Like a Dragon PC listing. It showed up on SteamDB on May 4, 2020 as having been added to Valve’s storefront.

This marks the first time there will be a multiplatform Yakuza launch. Previous Yakuza games have appeared on the Xbox One and PC after the PlayStation 4 debuts.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 in Japan and received post-launch updates that added features like new game plus. It will appear on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC worldwide in 2020.

Yakuza Like a Dragon
