Level-5 has delayed Yo-kai Watch 4: We’re Looking Up at the Same Sky from its previously planned June 6 release date in Japan to June 20, the company announced. It will be available for Switch.

The reason for the delay, according to Level-5, is to further increase the game’s quality.

■ Each of the Four Worlds Has “Gacha”

Gacha machines with different appearances exist in each of the four worlds of Yo-kai Watch 4. By advancing the story, you will be able to visit a facility known as “Gasha Land” in the Yo-makai world at any time to play gacha. Get coins from treasure chests and rewards to play tons of gacha!

There are six Watch users that can participate in battle. Each has a different weapon and special moves. And by strengthening their Watch Skills, you can battle at an even greater advantage. Strategically alot points to develop each character!

The yo-kai befriending system in Yo-kai Watch 4 is completely new. By “Soulsucking” from yo-kai during battle, you will get “Souls.”

By trading in Souls, which are crystallizations of a yo-kai’s power, “Konkatsu” (Soulmatching) consultant Konsaru will introduce you to wonderful new friends. Discover who you are fated to meet!

Le vendite... be', sicuramente la serie è in calo. La prima settimana ha registrato 150,721 copie su Switch.

Il passaggio da 3DS a Switch non ha giovato granché... ma c'è da dire che il calo c'era già stato anche in precedenza.

The original Yo-kai Watch, which first launched for 3DS in July 2013, is coming to Switch, according to Level-5’s official virtual YouTuber Dennoji Reto.

In her latest video discussing the recently announced Switch Lite announcement, Reto-chan said, “On the day Switch Lite releases, you’ll be able to play Ni no Kuni [on your Switch], and later on the first Yo-kai Watch is also coming out, so we would be grateful for your support.”

Level-5 has yet to make an official announcement regarding the original Yo-kai Watch coming to Switch. That being said, release timing and other details, such as whether this is a port or remake, are unknown.

Ed ecco la conferma ufficiale: il primo Yo-kai Watch uscirà per Switch in una versione aggiornata.

Level-5 has announced Yo-kai Watch 1 for Nintendo Switch. It will launch both physically and digitally on October 10 in Japan for 4,980 yen.

The Switch version of the 2013-released Yo-kai Watch features high-definition graphics and compabitility with the Yo-kai Art and DX Yo-Seiken toys.

Level-5 will release Yo-kai Watch 4: We’re Looking Up at the Same Sky for PlayStation 4, the developer announced.

The action RPG was first released for Switch on June 20 in Japan. In a press release, Level-5 said it will announce the official title of the PlayStation 4 version, release time, game details, and more “soon.”

A major update due out in 2019 will add the familiar residential area Dandanzaka (known as Blossom Heights in the English localization) as a map in the game. The boss yo-kai Sproink awaits at the public bath-house.

■ Version 1.30 Update (Released August 9)

Aim for Yokozuna (Champion) at the Yo-kai Professional Sumo

At the Yo-kai Professional Sumo, which was added in the version 1.30 update, you can enjoy sumo battles of a different nature than regular battles.

These battles are won by knocking your opponent out of the ring. Reducing the opponent’s HP to zero will not result in a win. Utilize your various techniques to knock them out of the ring.

Fight while checking the battle situation via the “Dosukoi Gauge” at the top of the screen. Be careful not to let your team’s gauge get too low.

Pay attention to the “kimarite” (winning technique) when an ally or enemy attacks with the final blow. Depending on the final blow delivered, the kimarite (“Demon Arm Throw,” etc.) will change.

Win battle after battle and aim for yokozuna! You can also earn rewards by building up Gottsuan Points.
