Campaign Update

Hello JRPG fans. We know it’s been awhile since we’ve updated you. We apologize for that. Please see the updates below for more information.

Development Update

ARMED FANTASIA – March 2026 Project Report

Hello everyone!

It’s been a while.

Kaneko, the Main Game Designer for the ARMED FANTASIA project, here.

With this long-awaited update, I would first like to apologize on behalf of the campaign team for not providing updates according to the schedule we originally set.

Normally, discussing matters like this goes somewhat beyond the authority I’ve been given. However, I would still like to briefly explain the current situation.

We have completed what is known as a Vertical Slice build, which includes the main scenario for ARMED FANTASIA along with the core gameplay systems and various integrated elements of the game. This was submitted to the publisher.

Our next step is to continue preparing the remaining data and content, connecting all the pieces together, and further refining the game as a complete experience.

I have been told that delays in updates like this are not uncommon in crowdfunding projects. However, even from my own perspective—someone who is not particularly strict about such things—this situation is difficult to feel comfortable with.

Because of this, I have asked the campaign team to ensure that future updates follow the planned schedule as closely as possible. If we are unable to meet that schedule, we will make sure to clearly explain the reasons why.

To avoid any misunderstandings, I would also like to clarify one important point: the development team is not facing these challenges alone. The campaign team is working alongside us and doing everything they can to address the situation as well.

That said, the timing and scope of information we can share are heavily influenced by the publisher’s strategy, as they have been supporting the project’s development up to this point. Due to contractual and rights-related considerations, there are limits to what we are able to disclose at this time based solely on our own judgment.

We understand that this may cause concern for many of you, and we sincerely apologize for that. For now, we kindly askfor your continued patience while we wait for the appropriate timing to share further details through official announcements.

We feel very strongly about this project and will continue to make our best efforts.

Thank you very much for your understanding and continued support.

Penny Blood Report

As soon as we have more information to share on this project we will. Thank you for your patience.

Una mezza gioia e l'altra dolore :bruniii:

Solo dolore :sadfrog:

A inizio 2025 dovevano uscire... :bruniii:

Same.

Following the cancellation of Armed Fantasia, we finally got an update from the Penny Blood team about the status of its project, and luckily it's still alive!
That said, the team is still struggling to find a publisher due to the current situation surrounding the game industry, which remains extremely difficult for them to secure a partner.
Despite the challenge, the team's goal hasn't changed, and they're still committed to nurturing Penny Blood as an IP and ultimately bringing the game to fruition.
For now we can only wish them good luck, and while we wait, the team has already prepared a separate project to raise awareness of the IP through a prequel novel titled Penny Blood: Reviolence, which is currently planned to launch in Fall 2026.
It's also worth noting that despite the lack of updates on the main game, Penny Blood has already given us various projects that have actually come to fruition over the past few years. Some of them include the spin-off action roguelike game Penny Blood: Hellbound, the anthology novel series Penny Blood: Inheritors Story, and soon Penny Blood: Reviolence will also follow.
