The official website for Battle Game in 5 Seconds, the television anime of Saizō Harawata and Miyakokasiwa's Deatte 5-byō de Battle (Battle in 5 seconds after meeting.) manga, opened on Wednesday and posted a teaser promotional video and a key visual. Both the site and the teaser reveal the main cast, main staff, theme song information, and July 12 premiere.

The anime stars:

• Aimi as Yūri Amagake
• Mayumi Shintani as Mion
• Kazuya Nakai as Madoka Kirisaki
• Yūichi Nakamura as Shin Kumagiri
• Miyuri Shimabukuro as Ringo Tatara
• Akari Kitō as Yan

Meigo Naito is serving as chief director, and Nobuyoshi Arai (Banana Fish, Duel Masters episode director) is directing the anime at the animation studios Synergy SP and Vega Entertainment. (Shogakukan Shueisha Production and Studio A-Cat are producing, and Studio A-Cat is handling the CG animation.) Touko Machida (High-Rise Invasion, Maesetsu! Opening Act, Lucky Star) is in charge of the series scripts. Tomokatsu Nagasaku (Show By Rock!! Stars!!, Slap Up Party: Arad Senki) and Ikuo Yamakado (In Search of the Lost Future) are designing the characters.

Kitō is performing the opening theme song "No Continue," and the unit "15-sai to Seiko Ōmori" is performing the ending theme song "Makeibe Jikkyō Play" (Let's Stream a Playthrough of the Bad Ending).

The anime will premiere on July 12 at 24:00 (effectively, July 13 at midnight) on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels.

The story begins when Akira Shiroyanagi, a high school boy who loves games and konpeitō sugar candy, gets suddenly embroiled in a battle of mental powers by a mysterious girl who goes by the name Mion.

Harawata posted the original manga online before artist Miyakokasiwa launched a "remake" of the manga with new art in Shogakukan's Ura Sunday web comic service in 2015. The manga is also on Shogakukan's Manga ONE app. Shogakukan published the manga's 16th compiled book volume on March 18. The manga has over two million copies in circulation.

OK, non è la peggio porcata estiva.

Deatte 5 Byou de Battle - Battle Game in 5 Seconds.

Concorso combattimenti mortali con poteri strani e protagonista stratega trollone.

Serie che non disdegna il gore.

E topa di un certo livello.

Onestamente mi aspettavo una cacata pazzesca a 360° ma invece è una roba abbastanza guardabile, il comparto tecnico non è il massimo ma funziona, storia assolutamente ignorante alla ganz/osama game.

Sicuramente calerà tecnicamente via via ma è stato un ok primo episodio.

Peccato ci siano tremila battle shonen a 'sto giro.

ok, dichiaro solennemente questa serie la sorpresa della stagione.
Talmente una minchiata che fa il giro e diventa spettacolare.

Secondo episodio, ed è subito il turno della main girl.

Che oltre ad essere una gran topa ha anche un certo respiro di commedia e drammaticità.

Adoro come questa serie va diretta al punto.

Tecnicamente benino, risparmiano le animazioni per l'azione, molti studio potrebbero imparare.

Battle in 5 second non ha ha alcun diritto di essere così guardabile.

Buono anche il terzo, questo "battaglie di tizi con poteri random" sta funzionando molto meglio di moltre altre serie simili.

E chiaramente tutta l'attenzione per i dettagli è verso la patata, giustamente.

Dove eravamo rimasti... finito anche Deatte 5 Byou de Battle - Battle Game in 5 Seconds

Tizi vengono rapiti, hanno poteri strani, devono ammazzarsi, assai originale.

Avevo pronosticato questa serie come la grande boiata stagionale ma devo dire che è uscita una roba... semi-decente.

Il punto forte di questa serie... la gran topa, anche se si poteva fanservicerare molto di più.

Dal punto di vista tecnico ha traballato tra il "guardabile" e berserk 2016, animazioni action molto vorrei ma non posso.

Finale chiaramente aperto da manga lungo in corso, cosa che comunque si intuiva dal principio, ma comunque ok.

Non molto da dire, action battle royal notevolmente ignorante purtroppo animato molto al risparmio.

Ma se si spegne il cervello comunque intrattiene.
