7 nuovi personaggi di supporto, ma anche nuovi dettagli e screen per Azur Lane: Crosswave per PS4.

Azur-Lane-Crosswave_2019_07-31-19_Top.jpg

Compile Heart has updated the official website for Azur Lane: Crosswave with character pages for Atlanta (voiced by Aranami Kazusa), Amazon (voiced by Yukiko Amamiya), Victorious (voiced by Eriko Nakamura), Norfolk (voiced by Hiromi Sakuma), Prince of Wales (voiced by Chinami Hashimoto), U-81 (voiced by Haruka Yamazaki), and Lexington (voiced by Minami Shinoda), who will appear in the game as a “Secretary Ship / Combat Support.”

■ Crosswave-Original Rules

Here, we will explain the differences between Azur Lane: Crosswave for PlayStation 4 and Azur Lane for smartphones.

  • The characters that can directly participate in battle are those that can be placed in the “Main Fleet” (up to three characters).
  • You can also set characters in the “Vanguard Fleet” (up to three characters), which offer support through skills and “Fleet Effects.”
  • When the HP of the characters in the Main Fleet becomes zero, you will be lose the battle.
  • Characters in the Vanguard Fleet cannot be attacked.
  • The Main Fleet can include any character, regardless of ship type, as long as it consists of participants in the story’s Joint War Games (i.e. a playable character).
  • The Vanguard Fleet can include all other members, excluding the two Sirens.
  • When heading into battle, there are is no oil cost or condition deterioration.
Azur-Lane-Crosswave_2019_07-31-19_001.jpg

■ Fleet Effects

Depending on the combination of six characters that form your Main Fleet and Vanguard Fleet, the characters in your Main Fleet will receive bonuses.

  • Total Power – The total value of the stats that act as guideline for the strength of each character. One-tenth of that value is added as a bonus to your HP.
  • Fleet Effects – A list of all 58 Fleet Effects can be found on the official website.

■ Ship Types

Every character has an established ship type, which is particularly important for characters that fight on the front line in the Main Fleet.

  • Destroyer – A ship type that boasts overwhelming speed. Its torpedo strength alone is extremely high. On the other hand, it is weak when hit and has little firing power. Its weakness is “standard firing.”
  • Light Cruiser – A ship type with performance that is a middle ground between the Destroyer and the Heavy Cruiser. With its high Anti-Air stats, is mainly useful for its highly efficient “Anti-Air Gun.” Its weakness is “standard firing.”
  • Heavy Cruiser – Although it moves somewhat slowly, its “Lock-On Attack” charge is faster than other ship types. By firing Lock-On Attacks one after the next, its firepower can surpass even that of a Battleship.
  • Battleship – Although its offensive and defensive strengths are extremely high, it cannot rapid-fire with its initial equipment. Its movement is the slowest among the ship types, and it can only guard instead of dash. Its “standard firing” is also extremely strong. Its weaknesses are “armor piercing ammunition” and “torpedoes.”
  • Aircraft Carrier – A ship type that can only equip various aircraft. The aircraft it deploys will move and attack on its own. (It first moves according to the direction it is deployed, then attacks.) Its attacks have no attributes and are effective against all ship types. However, since it is possible for an enemy’s Anti-Air attacks to shoot down the aircraft, it only truly shines when the number of enemies on the field have decreased.

Ship Type Traits Change Depending on Your Equipment

There is a large number of equipment in Azur Lane: Crosswave, which can change the traits of a ship type. For example, if you equip a gun meant for a Destroyer to a Battleship, it will be able to rapid-fire with the Battleship’s high attack power. Make up for your weaknesses by enhancing your strengths. What you equip to which character is an essential gameplay element.

Collect Rare Equipment

In addition to the ocean map, rare equipment can mainly be obtained after battle on the results screen and via Akashi’s Research Laboratory. There are many rare items among those that Akashi requires as compensation, but since she will tell you where to obtain them, be sure to go out and find them. You may even obtain equipment that will dramatically change a character’s ease of use.

■ Skills

Unrelated to ship type, each character has several skills that they learn from the beginning of the game. “Lock-On Attack” is also a type of skill. Every skill can be upgraded with items, and will demonstrate considerable strength if upgraded to the maximum level.

While the skills assigned to the Main Fleet and the skills assigned to the Vanguard Fleet are separate, their levels are linked.

When activating skills of the same type at the same time, unlike the smartphone game, it is possible to gain tremendous firepower / defense power depending on your formation since effects are also added.

A list of skills can be found on the official website.

Azur-Lane-Crosswave_2019_07-31-19_007.jpg

How to Use Skills Often in Battle

While skills charge quite slowly in battle, their charge speed will increase the more you defeat mob characters. Using Lock-On Attacks against boss characters is a standard tactic, but if you want to use recovery skills faster, you should wipe out the mobs as well.

■ Difficulty Options

The following difficulty options are available in the game, which can be changed at any time:

  • Easy – Recommended for those playing a shooting game for the first time. If you choose a Battleship, it will be difficult to lose.
  • Normal – The standard difficulty setting recommended for those who have some experience playing shooting games. Through skillful formation and upgrades, there will be no need to level up and you should be able to make it to the end of the game.
  • Hard – The difficulty setting recommended for those who have already completed other shooting games. All boss characters will have increased strength and higher HP, so battles will not disappoint. Depending on your skill, you can get a sense of how each character was meant to be perceived when facing against them.
On Hard difficulty, Battleship-type characters that are unable to dash and move slowly are all the more difficult to use.

It should also be noted that there are no rewards or trophies that can be obtained on Hard that cannot be obtained on Easy.

Clearing the Game on Hard

Among the three characters that make up the Main Fleet, the two characters not controlled by the commander (the player) remain in state called “Defense Mode.”

Characters in Defense Mode…

  1. Automatically defend against attacks from enemies.
  2. Have low aim power, and only offer attack support by attacking in the direction aimed at by the commander.
  3. Cannot use skills or Lock-On Attacks.
The first point is of particular importance. Since you cannot revive when defeated in battle, you should immediately change characters as your party members are weakened. This will temporarily place a weakened party member in a safe state.

Since the recovery cubes dropped by mob characters “recovers 20 percent of the HP of all Main Fleet members,” you can heal up your characters by collecting recovery cubes with your reserve members.

Azur-Lane-Crosswave_2019_07-31-19_008.jpg

■ Share

From the prologue to the end of the game, there are no restrictions when it comes to using the “Share” feature. Additionally, the game balance has been adjusted based on the Hard difficulty setting. If you just want to enjoy the story, it is perfectly fine to play the game from beginning to end on Easy. On the other hand, by playing on Hard difficulty the whole time from the very beginning, the game enters completionist territory, but those with confidence in their skills can look forward to a challenge.

Be sure to “Share” as you play!

■ Check Out Information About Each Character

In addition to the tutorial, a trove of information is accessible from the start of the game for users entering the world of Azur Lane for the first time with this game. Be sure to check it out before playing. And while not exclusive to this game, there is also information about things that will be used in the series in the future.

Mai the “Papa Killer” heads to the cursed city Liz Shoala, where her only hope and younger sister Sanae lives.

Mai decides to live in a shady women’s dormitory called “Wardsworth” to find her sister Sanae. But not only could she not find her, Sanae is being treated as if she never existed.

Using the power of Arata Mizunashi’s PC and her hacking skills, as well as a single USB stick in her pocket, she starts exploring the cursed city.

This was only the beginning of a new “Rondo of Despair”….

Keywords

—Liz Shoara

Death-end-re-Quest-2_2019_11-07-19_002.jpg

Liz Shoara is a city located in the mountains and where the story takes place. While it was once a beautiful lakeside city, the emergence of a religious cult has rapidly decreased the population. While it is still a beautiful town at first glance, most of its homes have been abandoned and currently only about 50 families live there.

The town prohibits going out at night. This is because when night falls, the town transforms to take on an ominous, sinister, and grotesque appearance that strikes fear and agony into its visitors. Those who lose their way in this town can do nothing other than flee…

—Wardsworth

Death-end-re-Quest-2_2019_11-07-19_003.jpg

At the heart of Liz Shoara is a church, and in the church is a girls’ dormitory called “Wardsworth,” where Mai and many other girls are living. However, a mysterious incident occurs where the girls boarding there disappear one by one. A mysterious phenomenon eventually occurs, and Mai and company get wrapped up in a conspiracy that unfolds inside the city.

—El Strain (Religion)

Death-end-re-Quest-2_2019_11-07-19_004.jpg

The religion of El Strain, the faith that people follow in Liz Shoara, is not an obtrusive one, and seems to bring about relief even in times of adversity and hardship. It is also tolerant when it comes to positions in the church, and has no particular gender and marriage restrictions to take up a position.

—Dark Shadows

Death-end-re-Quest-2_2019_11-07-19_005.jpg

In addition to monsters, there are strange figures known as “Dark Shadows” in Liz Shoara. Dark Shadows are considered to be a kind of curse that occur when night falls, said to be either the malice of cursed humans or “something not of this world.” These unidentified Dark Shadows that roam the town will persistently pursue Mai and company when spotted. What will happen to Mai and company if they get caught by a Dark Shadow?

■ Characters

Mai Touyama (voiced by Chiwa Saito)

Death-end-re-Quest-2_2019_11-07-19_006.jpg

A girl living at the girls’ dormitory in Liz Shoara. Her father went mad and pulled a knife on her, and died in an accident that resulted from Mai’s resistance. Mai, chained to that room and left behind alone, nearly died of starvation, but a city official saved her life and gave her shelter. An investigation confirmed the disappearance of her mother Phyllis, and the orphaned Mai was taken over to the girls’ dormitory. She gives off a quiet and gloomy vibe. Because of the abuse she suffered by her parents as a child, she has put up a wall in her heart. And while she has an extremely high IQ, her knowledge and expressions of emotions lack uniformity as she is mostly uneducated, and she sometimes takes unusual action as a result.

Rotten Dollhart (voiced by Madoka Asahina)

Death-end-re-Quest-2_2019_11-07-19_007.jpg

A girl living at the girls’ dormitory in Liz Shoara. Her nickname is Rot. A noble girl with a cheerful and kind personality, she is looked up to by all the other girls at the dormitory. She is caring and full of curiosity, and will poke her head at any mystery she comes across. Her personality is extreme and she is somewhat detached from the real world, sometimes showing a natural airheadedness. She is the type of character who will let anyone into her heart, so she repeatedly attacks and hounds newcomer Mai with all of her might. Soon enough, Mai begins to open up her heart to her and they eventually become close friends.

Liliana Pinnata (voiced by Manaka Iwami)

Death-end-re-Quest-2_2019_11-07-19_008.jpg

A girl living at the girls’ dormitory in Liz Shoara. Her father was possessed by a demon and committed suicide, leading her mother to go crazy and abuse her. From the way her father died, she believes “demons are at fault for the way my family turned out,” and in discussing her outlook for the future, tells Mai and the others that, “In the time to come, I will exorcise demons. I would like to join the church and seek the path.” She uses polite language unexpected of someone with her young appearance, speaking as a young lady with a mature and respectful tone. Although she seems to have a wealth of knowledge, she was separated from her parents at a time when she needed plenty of parental love, so she is subconsciously seeking a mother figure.

Shina Ninomya (voiced by Hisako Tojo)

Death-end-re-Quest-2_2019_11-07-19_009.jpg

A game designer that once worked for a company called Enigma. After that, she and genius engineer Arata Mizunashi completed the “Alice” game engine and “World’s Odyssey” game. Her memories from the previous game have been explained to her by Arata, and she understands the structure of the world to some extent. Several years after the completion of “World’s Odyssey,” Arata suddenly disappears, and she pursues his whereabouts.

■ System

Battle

—Turn-Based Battles

Death-end-re-Quest-2_2019_11-07-19_010.jpg

This game uses a turn-based command battle system. There will be three members in battle, and the order of turns is determined by the speed of each character. At the start of each character’s turn, they are able to move about freely on the field and determine from which direction to attack, so you can choose to perform combos with other characters, or attack from outside the enemy’s range.

—Triact System

Death-end-re-Quest-2_2019_11-07-19_011.jpg

The Triact system allows players to take three actions in one turn. Actions include the “Attack,” “Item,” or “Guard” under the “Skill” menu. For example, by chosing “Attack, Guard, Item”, you may attack, guard, and use an item. Through this system, players can enjoy speedy battles with more strategy packed into a single turn.

—Super Knockback

Death-end-re-Quest-2_2019_11-07-19_012.jpg

The “Knockback” system from the previous game, which could be used to send enemies flying to deal additional damage, returns as the enhanced “Super Knockback.” By attacking with a skill that has this effect, enemies will fly even further. Determine your attack direction and attack an enemy with a skill that has the Super Knockback effect, and you could blast the enemy into other enemies to deal major damage to several enemies at once.

—Glitch Mode

Death-end-re-Quest-2_2019_11-07-19_013.jpg

“Glitch Mode” is an enhancement system provides cheat-class abilities. Each time a Mai and company touch a curse or is attacked, their corruption level increases. If corruption exceeds a certain threshold, characters will transform into “Glitch Mode.” It is easier to activate Glitch Mode this time around compared to the original game, making battles more and more exhilarating. The character’s appearance will change when Glitch Mode is activated.

Due nuovi personaggi di Death end re;Quest 2 per PS4

Vina Miles (voiced by Marina Yabuuchi)

A girl who is small, yet precocious and full of pride. Despite her beautiful looks, she is mean and forms a group called the “The Three Bullies” with Molly and Pick. She has a strong drive backed by a desire for control, and sometimes projects a strong, leader-like presence to weaker individuals. It seems that she once may have had a kind heart…

Victorie Millet (voiced by Haruka Sugita)

A girl who is always smiling and laughing, and who Rot calls a “carefree girl.” A natural born swindler, she has always been able to simply laugh and be forgiven whenever she makes a mistake. Because of that, she can be oblivious and incapable of understanding other peoples’ feelings.

Dettagli su alcuni dei personaggi principali di Azur Lane: Crosswave per PS4 e PC.

■ Playable Characters

Shimakaze

An up-and-coming rookie that joined the fleet well after Ayanami did. She’s quick and a great listener: talents which she utilizes on the battlefield. Unfortunately, she seems to lack a sense of danger, so it’s not unusual to find her in unexpected trouble. She is constantly reminded to be careful, which she takes to heart, and is showing growth as she prepares to join the Joint Military Exercise. Of course, many of her seniors get first pick at good opportunities to fight, but she is still seeking to become the MVP along with her partner, Suruga, as she cleverly works her way to bend the rules of the event.

Suruga

A brand new member of the Sakura Empire fleet who joined at the same time as Shimakaze. She wants to show that she can handle any work assigned to her. Upon first glance, she seems difficult to approach, but that’s only because she’s trying to hide her personality issues and her kindness. That said, she is having a hard time getting rid of the stress building within her, and keeps pointing out oddities inside her mind. One day, during an exercise, she ends up partnering with Shimakaze. Little did she know that this would change her fate quite drastically…

Akagi

One of the higher ranking members within Sakura Empire who is known to speak her mind freely, even to her leader. She is often found berating others if it helps the cause of the Sakura Empire, and those offended by her do not often speak up as she is very powerful. That said, her words are well-grounded. Coupled with her strength, she is in no short supply of either friend or foe. She planned the Joint Military Exercise, and is, in many ways, causing quite a stir.

Atago

A revered member of the Sakura Empire who possesses an unparalleled amount of both charm and maturity. Always calm and gentle, she never fails to have a solution for difficult problems. She’s a perfect example of someone you want fighting for you… not against! Although she can become scared quite easily, she hides it well. She partners closely with Takao in her efforts to support the Sakura Empire.

■ Full-Time Secretary Ship / Battle Support Characters

Ark Royal

A long-time member of the Royal Navy’s central fleet. She’s quite bold but has the power to back it up. She loves small and cute destroyers so much that it makes other Kansen cringe when she expresses her love for them. She takes on the role of supporting the Joint Military Exercise so that the event can be done safely.

Aoba

A self-proclaimed journalist, but in reality, just a struggling writer. She gathers headline-worthy news that occurs within the Sakura Empire, and publishes it in a semi-official newspaper for the nation. With all the nations gathered for the Joint Military Exercise, she’s running around the place in search of juicy, newsworthy stories to publish. Her first mission… to get an interview with Eagle Union’s hero, Enterprise.
