The final boss is actually changed depending on which console you have. In the Arcade, Genesis, Amiga, and NES versions, the final boss is a caveman-like monster with reptilian features. In the Gameboy version, it is a beating heart. In the SNES version, it is a devil-like monster.

I quali sono stati del tutto rimossi per ragioni non meglio precisate nella versione occidentale.

If you speak to Varric in The Hanged Man, he will make a comment about a serving girl named 'Edwina'. This is a reference to Baldur's Gate 2, where the mage 'Edwin' is turned into a woman at the end of the game.

The second verse of the song "Ain't That Funny" features the line "Jack, Jack, he's a psycho maniac", a reference to a 1980's LEGO marketing campaign centering on "Zack the LEGO Maniac", a character who was also once named Jack.

Castlevania Dracula X/Vampire's Kiss

In the Japanese and Australian versions, when Richter Belmont takes damage his body flashes red, and when he dies he spurts blood.
In other versions of the game it was censored by recolouring the damage effects.

Un non sequel

Despite having a number in its Western release the game is actually a spin-off. Released originally in Japan as Clock Tower: Ghost Head the game bears little to no connection to the series' two previous titles. It was given a number in the title due to the original Clock Tower never getting a Western release and the second game losing its numbering outside of Japan.

By going to the northwest section of the map where the Ginyu Force resides, you can skip the segment, because There is a misplaced warp in that corner. This appears to be a mistake as you are supposed to fight the Ginyu Force to progress the story, and the warp isn't on land.

Battletoads

In a few levels, there are enemies that can steal health by grabbing the energy bars from the health meter directly, as opposed to attacking the player's character. According to the game manual, these enemies are called 'Vaders, "survivors of the original invaders", referencing the game Space Invaders.

In the Japanese version, Ari is named Luca and his face has notable differences. While the US model is known for its smaller eyes and added nose, the original Japanese release model has bigger eyes and an absence of nose-- more fitting of the concept art.

In the instruction manual, Daisy is referred to as "Daisy Princess" instead of "Princess Daisy." This is because of her Japanese name, Deiji-Hime, places the word for Daisy before the word for Princess.

In a part of the game there's an NPC called Mr. Thriller dancing in a club with another bunch of undead demons (Bodyconians, zombies, Man Eaters, etc.). Mr. Thriller is a cameo of Michael Jackson, wearing the garments he used in his music video for his song Thriller.

Moronic the Plumber:

Crash Twinsanity

According to writer Paul Gardner, there was originally going to be a character named Moronic the Plumber (a parody of Sonic and Mario) that took the role of a hero to reclaim stolen treasure from their dimension. Traveller's Tales rejected the idea, and Moronic was later replaced with a cameo from Spyro the Dragon.

Originally it was planned that, upon death, Samus would scream as her suit would explode to reveal her naked body. However, when the game was released, Samus was given clothes and her scream (recorded by composer Minako Hamano) was removed after being deemed too sexual.
