In Chapter 4: A Captive Goddess, there is a room with some boards on one of the walls. If you slash at the boards, they will fall to reveal a DirectXbox, which is the original design for the Xbox.

Conker avrà tanti difetti, ma non è mica un ladro:

Conker's Bad Fur Day

In the scene where Birdy sells Conker the manual and the cash escapes Birdy's pocket, Conker was originally going to either pull the money back with string, or whistle for it to come back. However, the game's designer, Chris Seavor, didn't want him to be seen as a thief.

Genesi di un nome

The PAL release of the game was titled Digimon World 2003, possibly due to Digimon World 2 never receiving a PAL release. However, in these copies of the game, the game continues after the player has defeated the final boss, whereas the North American version of the game simply ends.

Mega Man 2

There is a noticeable difference in music tempo and gameplay speed between the European version of Mega Man 2 and the North American version (the EU version being around 83.3% of the US versions speed.) This is due to conversion issues that occurred during the games localisation from 60Hz (US Standard) to 50Hz (EU Standard). Strangely, Mega Man himself isn't slowed down, making some parts of the game (such as the Metal Man conveyor belts) easier in the EU version of the game.

Il significato della Q :marmotta:

04onexV.jpg

The "Q" in the title is in reference to the Etrian Odyssey series of games, which Persona Q derives many of its gameplay elements from. In Japanese the Etrian Odyssey games are originally called Sekaiju no Meikyū, and it is a reference to this series being shortened to SQ, with the S from Sekaiju and the Q from the last syllable of Meikyū, with "Kyū" being phonetically similar to the English letter "Q".

With the exception of Eagle's Tower, every dungeon in Link's Awakening has a map that forms a picture of an object, such as a Moldorm in the case of Tail Cave or a Key in the case of Key Cavern.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World

In an Sega.jp Meisaku interview with game's creator Kotaru Hayashida (aka Ossale Kohta), he stated that the 'Octopus Sushi' was originally going to have at least 8 arms. But it was impossible, due to an issue with the sprites.

Sony's American branch originally refused to release the game in the U.S. and even he received some borderline racist/xenophobic feedback from the U.S. branch. Luckily, thanks to the success of the game in Japan and Sony Japan's support, it did manage to be released in the U.S.

Anche il "vero " Zero la odia :shrek:

David Cross, the actor who voiced Zero in the game, said that he hated the mission "Supply Lines", which his character was in, because of how difficult it was and finding his voice accompanied with it to be annoying.

In an interview, Cross said, "It's the most annoying voice you could imagine, accompanying that," "I stopped, I tried to cheat, I could not listen to myself, it was so annoying," "So annoying. I hated it. And I couldn't fucking do it. The RC thing? ... It's impossible."

Ratchet & Clank

There was a weapon that was supposed to be used in the game called the "Revolverator", but it was cut off from the game. According to game designer "Corey Stockton", when you find a colorless Revolverator in the "Insomniac Museum" from "Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando", he said:

"You may recognize this drill from Ratchet and Clank 1. It was held by a "large construction worker (The Miner from Hoven)" who gives you a lump of Raritanium. This was originally a weapon called the Revolverator. Ratchet would strike enemies with it and then spin them over his head with the drill bit. Unfortunately, this ended up leaving Ratchet open for attack, and also required a lot of resources to pull off, so it was cut."

Believe it or not, such an iconoclastic character actually finds his inspiration coming from super mainstream franchises. Earthworm Jim’s creation sort of has a bonkers approach. Playmates Toys was ultimately responsible for the kernel of the idea. After the toy line found great success with their release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures, they were inspired to create their own toy franchise and tap into that same market. However, Playmates ambitiously wanted to see their franchise begin as a video game and then use those titles’ popularity to bolster their toy sales. At the time, Sonic the Hedgehog and its Genesis sequel were at the height of popularity and Playmates wanted to be a part of that scene. If not for the success that Sonic was seeing, Earthworm Jim likely would have started—and possibly ended—as an action figure. The character’s evolution continued in atypical ways. Douglas TenNapel simply presented a basic drawing of an earthworm to Shiny Entertainment, which the company quickly purchased. From there, programmer David Perry and TenNapel would flesh out the world of the video game, with Perry handling characters and game mechanics, with TenNapel on level ideas, game design, and Jim’s voice.

Non era destinato ai turni :ahsisi:

According to an interview with executive director Tetsuya Takahashi, the decision to use real-time combat over turn-based combat was made because earlier experiments with the latter didn't play very well with the ability to see into the future during battle.

Una demo "impegnativa" :marmotta:

One of the early tech demos for the Wii in 2005 was a re-tooled version of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It was the most advanced of the 8 available demos and was the only game to incorporate the Nunchuk. It took one developer two months to complete the demo for the Tokyo Game Show.

Donkey Kong Country 2

In the Monkey Museum, a poster of Thunder from Killer Instinct can be spotted in the background. Additionally, Cranky's cabin is represented on the map of the Krazy Kremland area as a tent with a neon sign reading "KI here", and has two Killer Instinct cabinets outside.

Kojima birichino :saw:

During development of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Hideo Kojima wanted the Beauty and the Beast Unit to be naked during cutscenes, though this would have severely affected the game's censorship rating. Yoji Shinkawa stated that the motion capture actors were asked to do the motion capture nude, though this could also not be used in the game.[5] Instead of being naked, the BB members wear form-fitting catsuits, which shows off their figure.

Ei soldato, quale è il tuo vero nome? :fiore:

The Shielder could be based off the Arthurian legend "Gawain and the Green Knight", where Morgan Le Fay makes an indestructible green knight to go to Arthur's castle and have the green knight's head chopped off

After you unlock the next dungeon dungeon, if you return to Void Quest, Yosuke will state "Our princess is in another castle, dude." referencing the infamous line in Super Mario Brothers that occurs when you complete a castle stage.
