Every party members was supposed to receive one or two Mystic Artes, as evidenced by some of the unused voice files. Luckily, some of them were restored by Radiant Mythology 3, such as Shirley's Umi no Iyashinote , Will's The End, and Jay's Homura Orochi no Innote .

Alien Soldier

Alien Soldier’s credits tell the player the total amount of damage they took throughout an entire playthrough. Originally, some kind of reward was going to be given for beating the game without taking any damage, but the development team ran out of time before this could be implemented.

Versione cancellata

The game was planned to be released on the 64DD, but this version was cancelled. This may have been a result of the due poor sales of the add-on in Japan, and the fact that the 64DD never left the region.

Ape Escape 2

In Ape Escape 2, in "The Blue Babboon" and "Simian Citdel" levels, one-of-a-kind enemies exclusive to each stage can be found known as the "Space Can" and the "Submarine Lookalike" respectively, neither of which can harm the player in any way. Their Enemy Cards both mention that they "came to the wrong game". Ape Escape 2 was developed by Japan Studio and originally released in Japan on July 18, 2002.

A little over three months later on October 24, Sony published a Japan-exclusive game titled Space Fishermen, a collaboration between Japan Studio and the American animation studio Spümcø, Inc. under the name "Land Ho!". Both characters appear in the game as fish you can catch, presumably having found the correct game they were supposed to be in.

As revealed in development files uncovered by the Video Game History Foundation, the woman in Summers who sells Magic Cakes was originally intended to be a masseuse whose oil massages could induce relaxing dreams. This would've more readily explained why Ness and company's first use of her services results in the odd transition into Poo's training in Dalaam, in which the screen turns pinkish-purple and distorts before fading to black.

Una colonna sonora da Oscar

Ninja Gaiden III The Ancient Ship of Doom

18 minutes after the end screen is displayed, if the console is not reset or turned off, the text changes to "TO BE CONTINUED NINJA GAIDEN II". This signals that the game actually takes place between the events of Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden II.

This message isn't displayed in the American version.

Final Fantasy Adventure, known as Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden in Japan and Mystic Quest in Europe, is also the first game in the Mana series. The game would later be remade as Sword of Mana for the Game Boy Advance but with all Final Fantasy elements dropped.

Tre tipi di gioco in uno

Agent X II is split into three different subgames. The first level is a side scrolling shoot 'em up in a similar vein to Gradius. Level 2 is a platform game, set in a tower of screens, each with three floors. Each screen contains a computer terminal, a floating code number, and an assortment of enemies. Agent X must jump from level to level collecting codes, entering them into the computers and killing the aliens. After three codes have been entered, a final code must be typed into the lowest terminal and a snake-like alien destroyed before the task is completed. The third and final level is a Breakout clone.

Un singolo colpo ben assestato ed è subito sconfitto, ma se accade non è ancora finita!

The PC version of the game has a tactic which makes the battle ultimately easy: if the player is standing right at the corner of the left doorwing and Death Adder is on the right, a single headbash (which would normally make an enemy fall on his back) knocks him out of the level as if he fell into a pit, ending the battle instantly. The same tactic can work on his two skeleton warriors too. In contrast, the PC version features an extra level, and Death Bringer as the final enemy.

Breath of Fire III

According to a 1997 The PlayStation magazine interview with the game's director Makoto Ikehara & programmer Tatsuya Kitabayashi, they were asked how the game's development began. Ikehara stated that their developments "always sort of start the same way, with just a title." After which they just make whatever they want, and force it to all fit together after the fact. Ikehara also stated that when changing series to the PlayStation, the team considered calling the third game just "Breath of Fire" without the "III", but they ultimately decided not to as they wanted to bring about a conclusion to the work they had done up to then.

Kitabayashi added that after Breath of Fire II had finished, the team, now more confident, wanted to carry over that momentum from the previous game and begin working on Breath of Fire III straightaway.

Ikehara was also asked if there were things that they could not achieve in II that they wanted to do in III, to which he responded:

"Yeah. That’s true with every development, the whole “we’ll do it next time!” thing.

When Zelos wears his "formal" costume, there's a chance that during battle, his weapon will be changed to a bouquet of roses. This is a cosmetic change and offers no advantage or drawback.

CyberConnect2 president and CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama explained that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle was conceived "partly thanks to" the 2006 video game JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood. When that game was finished, the developers came up with the idea of a new game involving all the story arcs of the series.

Neversoft made a name for itself with the massively successful Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games. When tackling the famous superhero, the team decided to stick with the same game engine. Because they were using the character, Spider-Man also showed up in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. Apocalypse, a third-person shooter on the original PlayStation starring Bruce Willis, also uses the same engine, showcasing its versatility.
