Unused idea

This game was supposed to use mugshots during dialogue scenes, as did Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, but they went unused. The final game uses full portraits instead, just like the original Japan-only Coded mobile game did.

In 'A Tribute to Acquire', an article in Retro Gamer 240, 24 November 2022, Acquire's Takuma Endo reminiscences the game: "We thought carefully about the first game and decreased the number of possible routes by a bit. The game was modelled after Dejima in Nagasaki."

The Revenge of Shinobi

According to a 2003 the Sega Meisaku series interview with the game's director/designer Noriyoshi Ohba, he was asked what kind of work directing the game specifically entailed. He responded that since he was the only planner/designer working on the game, he "basically had to be involved in everything" from the planning, to designing the gameplay system, to the art (including which backgrounds to use, among other things), etc.

According to the producer Tomoyo Asano, the "Bravely Default" means:

"Have courage and renounce the promises and responsibilities that are expected of you. In other words, don't just blindly do what you're told, act according to your will."

This is the core theme behind the game's scenarios.

Non aspettate troppo:

Asterix (Arcade)

Several of Konami's arcade beat-em-ups had a recurring feature common among other arcade games where if you wait too long to proceed to the next screen, the game will punish you for idling. In most games, such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time, Sunset Riders, Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa, and Mystic Warriors: Wrath of the Ninjas to name a few, the game will take away a life in one way or another for waiting too long. However, in some other games like The Simpsons Arcade Game and Asterix, the player will only take a select amount of damage for idling, and may not necessarily be enough to lose a life.

Humor

In Chapter 1: New Arrivals, when playing on a completed save, if the player breaks the light air vent on the left side from a different room from the Flight Lounge, a Necromorph will suddenly appear, but will not trigger a cutscene, causing the game to glitch and allowing Isaac to humorously lead the Necromorph around the Flight Lounge as the crew does not notice the intruder.

The unlockable solo 'Bring It On Home' summons a fiery zeppelin that crashes into the ground when played. This is a direct reference to both the Led Zeppelin song of the same name and the burning zeppelin on the cover of their debut album.

Tomb Raider Legend

The original Xbox version doesn't have the introductory cutscene because the team forgot to put the video in the final build. Rather than suffer the delay and expense of re-submitting the build, they elected to simply release the game without the intro.

Modifiche

The original title for the game was Deeds of the Dead. The name was changed to reference a poem recited in the game when the marketing department didn't want to publish a game with the word "dead" in its title.

Mappa

In the North American release, the cover art is reversible, with the back side featuring a map of Haven City. The front of the game's manual points this map out as a tip to players, but the Greatest Hits re-release of the game did not include this map, with the manual not being updated to reflect this change.
