Exploit
hYP3L2m.jpeg

Moon Knight and Colossus are not on the roster of playable characters in the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PlayStation Portable version, but they can still be accessed on these versions by using an exploit.

Un titolo decisamente raro:

Snowboard Kids 2

Despite the game receiving a PAL version, this release was never available in Europe and only released in Australia.

Nice touch

Depending on the color the player chooses as Kirby, if they interact with one of the flowers, the flower will turn the same color as the Kirby being played.

Box con sorpresa:

Super Mario 64

In the mission "Blast to the Stone Pillar" in Jolly Roger Bay, the Power Star is contained within a box in the Western versions of the original game, but not in the Japanese version. This was likely changed during localization to make the star's position less obvious. However, all versions of the Nintendo DS remake leave the Power Star out in the open.

Citazioni

Each character has a colour palette based on a character from the Guilty Gear series, as well as a palette based on another fellow Blazblue character and a palette based off of a character from Atlus' Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series due to Arc System Works developing Persona 4 Arena.

Diseny's Aladdin

In the Palace Dungeon level there are skulls wearing Mickey Mouse hats throughout the level.

Vandal Hearts

5NId6Yi.jpeg

Vandal Hearts was released in Japan in 1996, and localized to North America and Europe in early 1997. A Saturn conversion was released in Japan in 1997, and included a new rendered opening sequence, animated cutscenes, multiple endings, additional playable characters, and new weapons and spells

Unused

0dy1Ico.jpeg

Within the game's files are voice clips for five unused Create-a-Soul classes. These clips can only be heard in-game via mods or hacking. The unused classes are Noble, Scared Fighter, Beastmaster (Ranger), Clown, and Great Warrior.

Minigioco segreto:

Gex

Exclusive to the 3DO version, in the level "The Project", there is a secret exit towards the bottom of the map with a Question Mark caption just before it reading:

"This door will take Gex so far away that he can't come back! Make sure you've saved your game recently!"
Going through the secret exit will boot up a secret Breakout clone, where you control Gex shooting balls up towards isometric cubes. To catch the ball, it must hit Gex's head, or if it is too far away from his head, Gex can shoot his tongue out a short distance to catch it just before it lands. The game's second boss, The Flatulator, also appears in this minigame, and hitting him with the ball will allow Gex to shoot the ball higher, while propellors will occasionally appear to generate more cubes.

This game appears to be another small project that was repurposed into an Easter egg, although there are no known messages or credits that appear during it. It's unknown why this minigame was left out of other versions of the game.

Cutted

Final Fantasy Tactics A2 was supposed to have a "Transmuter" job for the Nu Mou race, but it was cut out since the game was close to release time and they couldn't afford to delay the game and test the (very complicated) abilities from the job. The job was supposed to let a Nu Mou mix items together to get various effects. Its sprite still exists in the game; the character portrait/avatar is used for the luck stick sellers (showing both player and enemy colors) and the battle sprite can be seen when you start any tower in Brightmoon Tor and in some of the auctions.

Robocop versus Terminator

The US SNES version of RoboCop Versus the Terminator came in a hard plastic box instead of the cardboard boxes used by other SNES titles.

Conker's Pocket Tales

The game cartridge contains two separately programmed games; one for the Game Boy Color and one for the original Game Boy. The story remains the same, however some of the gameplay mechanics are different, as are some of the game locations themselves.

Ghost Rider:

Spider-Man

At the starting point of the "Race to the Bugle" level, Ghost Rider can be very briefly seen riding down a building before disappearing. This cameo is an exception to the other Marvel cameos in the game's "What If" mode, as Ghost Rider also appears in the normal level.

Leak

The existence of the North American and European localizations of Redux was prematurely revealed as a result of a few pages being published onto Atlus USA's website by accident

Una frecciatina a Nintendo:

Final Fantasy VII

One of the advertisements for the game reads "Someone please get the guys who make cartridge games a cigarette and a blindfold." and "Good thing, if it were available on cartridge, it'd retail for around $1,200." This was a jab at Nintendo and their cartridge-based platform the Nintendo 64.

Date da rivedere

OffmVga.jpeg

The manual claims that the processing dates for the subjects (the main characters) were mostly around the year 2161. However; this is nearly 40 years after the events of Red Faction: Guerrilla.

Kirby Super Star

In the Japanese release there are weeds in the foreground of the "Samurai Kirby" mini game. They were removed in the international versions, possibly to make room for the translation text. The weeds were later revised in Kirby Super Star Ultra.
