In the original console releases and PC version of the game, the fourth section of the first world The Fairy Council has a fairy say in a cutscene, "Oh my god, what is going on here?" Then later, "Oh my god, its an unspeakable atrocity!" The phrase 'Oh my god' was removed in the HD remaster for PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360. Oddly enough, in the HD remaster, the minigame Crush maintains the phrase as a reactionary on-screen quote if players manage to score 10 consecutive hit combos.

Bubble Bobble

In the NES version of Bubble Bobble, track 34 in the game's Sound Test is a song that never plays during the main game or the original arcade version. It's not known if it was included as bonus content, or was a leftover song that was not removed from the final game. However, this track was later used for the credits in the Japanese/American NES port of Rainbow Islands: The Story of Bubble Bobble 2.

During the segment of the game when playing as Ashley, it is possible to open a door into a Zealot to stun them and then perform Leon's suplex move on them. This glitch is only present in the GameCube version of the game, and was edited out in all other versions.

In Paper Mario: The Origami King, a plot event in Shangri-Spa is Bowser Jr.’s colors disappearing after taking a bath in the Spring of Jungle Mist. When he emerges from the spring, Kamek says a blank text bubble, whereupon he humorously explains that the shock made the color drain from his typeface.

However, while the speech bubble appears blank, it actually has text in it, which is merely set to 0% transparency - “You’re bleached!”. As such, it cannot actually be seen in-game under any circumstances, and requires extracting the data from the game’s files to view. Interestingly, this text has been translated into all languages the game is available in, and cannot be seen in any of them. The table provides the text and a rough translation of all the language versions.
