The latest issue of Weekly Jump reveals Dragon Quest Builders‘ third continent, following Merkid and Rimuldar, is “Maira,” a lava zone where magma gushes out and a rail car can be used to get around.The rail car can run freely over laid rail, and you can even use it to make monsters that are blocking your way go flying. There are various types of rail cars, including wooden rail cars and iron rail cars.

Additionally, the Maira continent is home to a mysterious fortress and powerful monsters, and there’s also a hot springs.

Story Mode

In Story Mode, you’ll build your own towns in order to revive the world devastated by The Dragonlord as you aim to defeat him. You’ll enjoy a Dragon Quest series story where you’ll meet and help out various unique characters, as well as battle many formidable foes.

Free Build Mode

After you clear the first continent, an “Unknown Island” will appear, where you can freely build to your heart’s content in Free Build Mode. All the recipes acquire during Story Mode can be used freely here.

The Unknown Island is divided into three major areas. There’s the “Home Area” activities base, the “Area Where Materials and Monsters from Continents Cleared in Story Mode Appear,” and the “Battle Island Area” where you can battle monsters one after the other. Additionally, in the Home Area, you can share your buildings with other players across the country via PlayStation Network.

Home Area

In this area, in addition to being able to make things using any material, you can also upload or download buildings by connecting to PlayStation Network.

Cleared Continents Area

In this area, you can obtain the materials not obtainable in the Home Area. There are also monsters roaming this area, so you should also try to get the materials they’re holding.

Battle Island Area

In this area, you can use a special ticket to battle against an army of monsters. If you win, you could obtain blueprints and recipes.

■ Scout Attack
The silver-haired protagonist is on a journey to recover his memories. Being a monster master, he is able to trigger the “Scout Attack,” a skill in which his monster companions make use of his power to unleash a special attack at the opponent. If it’s a success, you can recruit the enemy monster as an ally. A gauge that appears on screen will display your scouting success rate. Even at a small percentage, it’s possible to scout a monster.

In battle, there is a new “Strategy” command available to players. Selecting this command offers a total of six options, such as “Accumulate Tension” or “Use Special Skills.” If your “Tension” is accumulated, your attack will be more powerful, and the scout gauge will rise more easily.

■ Skills

As you battle your monsters, they will continue to level up. Doing so will increase their attack power and other statuses. However, each race of monster also has a variety of skills, and you can allocate skill points to learn these special skills and spells.

For example, the monster “Dragon Kids” has the skills “Drago Force” and “Speed +1.” If you allocate your skill points to Drago Force, you’ll learn a powerful breath attack. If you allocate your skill points to Speed +1, you’ll be able to attack enemies more quickly.

In this regard, you can have two of the same monsters raised completely different from each other.

■ Accessories

Monsters can also be equipped with accessories that raise its capabilities. By handing over materials like shrubs and ores to the accessory shop, you can create accessories that offer various effects. Each accessory can have a maximum of three effects.

■ New Monsters

Over 500 monsters will appear in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3. Here are the newest confirmations:

Nuovo scan di Dragon Quest Builders (PS3/PS4/PSV), che ci mostra un nuovo personaggio, Amelda, e un nuovo continente, Myra, di cui lei è a capo.

The game’s third continent, as introduced last week, is called Myra. Its leader is named Amelda. She’s a rowdy woman who leads a group of rowdy men. They refer to her as “anego,” or “big sis.” Working with Amelda, players will attempt to revive Myra. And you’ll also lead her rowdy group of men into battle.
Players will be able to create powerful weapons, including cannons. There is also a special machine you can ride, which can be used to rush at monsters and deal a great amount of damage.

Speaking of monsters, the magazine confirms Gigantes, Wizards, and Knights will appear in the game.

Raga ,qualcuno ha giocato a DQ VIII su android ? :kep88: ho visto un paio di video e letto un po di pareri (contrastanti) e non so decidermi se comprarlo o aspettare.

Il fatto è che ho una gran voglia di jrpg e vorrei tanto giocare all'ottavo capitolo . Il gioco per android è solo in inglese e non è un problema , anzi siccome sto andando a scuola d'inglese sarebbe un ottima occasione per fare esercizio :pffs: Però sono un po indeciso , lo giocherei su un LG G4 ... Visto che sono 20 euri di spesa ,aspetto consigli da voi :morris82:

 
Non hai il 3DS? Ne è uscito un porting anche li, con varie aggiunte tra l'altro. Sennò, 20 euro imo sono un po' tanti. Lessi qualche giorno fa che squadre scontava diversi giochi sul playstore per queste festività, ma non ricordo se ciò riguardava solo il catalogo dei FF o anche altro

come già detto o 3ds o aspetti uno sconto...nel periodo invernale li fanno di solito. Ho visto il gioco arrivare anche a 10 euro,se non ricordo male.
