Since the trademark is for Japan only at the moment, I'm thinking this is some sort of smartphone or browser game spin off. I'd like to be wrong though and SE somehow made a good decision by porting Type-0 to PS3 or something...

Secondly, that 4chan E3 list is someone's grand fanfiction, I'm sure. Like dramatis said, they're not going to waste time showing LRFFXIII on stage - if anything you might see a few clips in Sony's opening montage, but that's about it. Realistically, I think they'll announce FFXIV PS4 version along with XV.

Se è uno spin-off sarà sempre qualcosa legato al Type-0 e alla Fabula Nova Crystallis,visto che Agito è proprio un termine chiave del gioco e della sua mitologia da quel che ho capito.

Square Enix trademarks Occult Maiden, renews Star Ocean:

In Japan, Square Enix picked up a new trademark for “Occult Maiden”. Potentially more exciting is Star Ocean, which has been renewed by the company. Siliconera points out that Square Enix usually re-registers a trademark right before using it, so maybe some sort of Star Ocean announcement is on the way.

Back before Square Enix moved the game to PSP, Final Fantasy Type-0 was named Final Fantasy Agito XIII and was in development for phones. This week’s Famitsu magazine reveals that an “Agito” game is still headed to phones. Final Fantasy Agito is in development for iOS and Android platforms (thanks, Re: Zaregoto) this winter.

The game is a new title that will give players a look at the history of the first bout. The game is somehow related to Final Fantasy Type-0, as certain characters from that game are visible in the magazine. You can see Ace from FInal Fantasy Type-0 in the top left.

We’ll have more details on Final Fantasy Agito as soon as they are available.
