Decisamente no :morris82:

250k in 20 minuti.

Idee? //content.invisioncic.com/a283374/emoticons/paura.gif

First "significant update" to Elite: Dangerous planned for February

Updates have been arriving for Elite: Dangerous regularly, including one just this morning to optimize servers and fix (as-yet unnamed) bugs. Frontier Developments has also recently added in newly discovered real-life planets, such as Kepler-438b, so you can visit them between your space-trucking and pirate-hunting missions.

In a post on Frontier's forums this morning, executive producer Michel Brookes gave a vague outline of future updates, including one planned for the first week of February which he describes as "significant." While he provides few details, he mentions the update will provide "a new way to collaborate with other players in the galaxy," something Elite: Dangerous is certainly in need of. According to Brookes, version 1.1 will also increase the maximum distance for the galaxy map route-planner, up to 1,000 light years, allowing players to schedule longer journeys for their exploration missions.

March is slated to bring another big update introducing "player wings," which will allow players to group up with others and share missions, bounties, and rewards. You can read the entire forum post here.

Finalmente una coop vera e propria. :ivan:

The Beta Goes On
We couldn’t be where we are today without our community. Players have been integral to the development of Elite: Dangerous over the past two years and it’s been a two-way relationship that’s set to continue throughout 2015. We have a number of major updates planned throughout the year, and our Beta backers will get exclusive access first. Beta participants will play on a separate client so testing won't keep you from playing the regular game, and all participants can continue to play the full retail game while testing is ongoing.

We’ll have ways for new players to join our existing Beta backers very soon and we’ll have details on how you can sign up in an upcoming newsletter.

Beta backers will be the first to experience Elite: Dangerous 1.1 in the first week of February and with their help we’re hoping to roll out the update to everyone one week later. We’ll be talking next week about how 1.1 will introduce a new way to collaborate with other players in the galaxy in preparation for 1.2’s major Wings update in early March.

For now we have good news for anyone embarking on a long journey. The 1.1 update will increase the maximum distance for the route planner by ten times – up to 1,000 light years – and you might just see our new look gas giants along the way...

Holy fucking shit omg lol

Holy. Fucking. Shit.

Come dove quando e quanto mi costa?

- - - Aggiornato - - -

Ok, l'ho trovato: http://www.elitedangerousvoicepack.com/

:hype:

Community Goals Patch 1.1

The first Community Goals will be based around supply and bounties. "For example," Brookes says, "a faction might task our pilots with racking up a number of kills in a particular system, effectively sending massive numbers of players to war for or against particular group." He explains that these massive player migrations will have a knock-on effect on galaxy-wide economy and power structures.Players can contribute towards the goal whatever mode they're playing. While Open Play will see greater numbers of players diverge on the targeted system, Solo Mode and Private Group players will still be able to contribute to the overall total.

Brookes also teases some of patch 1.1's other features. "Alongside a number of tweaks and bug fixes we’re adding a shiny new gas giant shader," he says. "Gas giants now use a parallax shader which improves the feeling of depth within the layers of gas. You can see giant canyons in the gases of Jupiter and high level white clouds floating over Neptune.

"We also have city lights on the dark side of planets, which is something the community and the development team has been looking forward to for some time!"

Server Changes

- Memory optimisations for scenario handling

- Improvements to space station news generated from background simulation events

- No longer treat commodities as prohibited in the system map or on trade route data for space stations that have temporarily declared them legal

- Fix a bug that sometimes prevented a starsystem's government type and major faction allegiance changing

- System change queues no longer stall

- Fixed issue with influence from a faction from a different system not being applied to the correct system

It's happening!!!!!!!

Hi everyone,
I’m sure you’re all familiar with the GalNet newsfeed in game and how we’re using it to provide updates on the various storylines currently active in game. We want to expand the newsfeed to include more player generated news and particularly upcoming events. As part of this process you can submit a news item for consideration by posting in this thread. To submit a news item simply post with the following:

- Date and time for the news item/event

- Title – this should be brief and include the location

- Description – This should be no more than 150 words

- Commander Name

There are a few rules that need to be followed for submissions:

- Only submit a news item once

- We’ll pick which items are suitable – don’t be offended if we don’t use yours!

- We will edit the text if needed to make it fit with the game

- Legal protection – we own the copyright of the text we use in game

I look forward to receiving your news and events!

Michael
