New Technology from Aegis

Aegis has expanded its roster of anti-Thargoid technologies with a new device – the decontamination limpet. The device is specifically designed to counter the caustic properties of Thargoid missiles.

In a statement, an Aegis spokesperson said:

“As we know, the Thargoids’ enzyme missiles are particularly dangerous because of the caustic damage they inflict. The decontamination limpet is designed to address this by stripping the corrosive enzymes from a ship’s hull while also performing limited repairs.”

“We have rigorously field tested the device and are confident that it will give pilots a distinct defensive advantage.”

The decontamination limpet can be purchased from planetary bases with military, high-tech, refinery, industrial or extraction-level economies.

Io per vederlo sono andato sullo store Frontier e ho semplicemente fatto la somma di tutti gli ordini.

Ah 48 + ovviamente i soldi per Elite ed Horizons, che a memoria ho pagato 30€ in totale.

Logga e vai in My Order, c'è il riepilogo di tutti gli ordini.

Con totale comunque intendevo solo delle microtransazioni dato che si parlava di loro. Il totale di tutto per me è 19.6€ di micro + 37.49 di Horizons + 60 di backer = 117.09€. :asd: (I regret nothing :mah: )

Stasera alle 20:00 livestream riguardante Beyond, intanto info da un intervista di ieri a Edward Lewis:

Many parts of Beyond will also be available to owners of the base game as well as Horizons owners. Additionally some details before tonight’s live stream on features in Chapter 1 of Beyond.

Chieftain - Medium landing pad ship. Mainly a combat ship. More manoeuvrable than ships of a similar size and will be available to all players who can afford to buy it. Not hundreds of millions. Two large hard-points, one medium and three small. This will be available to owners of Horizons only.

Trade Data - Trade data will be available in real time. You will also be able to find data in galaxy map and using a search function for previously visited places as well as being able to see data in a radius from your current location. Data will be back dated based on places you have previously visited.

Wing Missions - These can be taken as a solo player and can be part completed in part. For instance do cargo delivery mission, you could do half of it then log off and do the rest of it the next day. You can have in your wing if you have each have three people in a one wing, you are sharing all three of those missions. These will be availlable to owners of the base game.

Planetary Update: More variety in the vibrancy of the planet and more uniqueness to each planet. Colouration will 'perhaps give a greater impression by looking at the planet as to what substances it contains'. These changes will be visible to players of the base game from space.

Galnet Audio: Audio will be available at any time during play - possible with the exception of when a ship is in hyperspace - but not confirmed.

We're beginning the Elite Dangerous: Beyond - Chapter One content reveal livestreams tonight, with Sandro Sammarco, Adam Bourke-Waite... and me. Join us on the official Elite Dangerous YouTube channel at 7PM GMT.

After much discussion, we have decided to split the content reveals in to three livestreams. One tonight (16/01/18), one on Thursday (18/01/18) and one on the following Tuesday (23/01/18). There's a lot of content to get through, so we wanted to make sure that we can have the right people talking about the content, and with enough time to give each feature the attention it deserves.

Remember, the beta is released on Thursday 25 to all PC players, as detailed in the forum post here[forums.frontier.co.uk].

Yep, sono quelli delle rovine con gli obelischi da analizzare. QUI c'è tutta la lore. La cosa interessante è che si specula che probabilmente i Thargoids sono un'arma biologica creata dai Guardians.

1) How do I download the beta?

The beta can be downloaded in one of two ways. Either via the game launcher as usual or for the first time ever, via Steam! When the beta goes live on January 25, 2018, please follow the instructions below to install the beta via Steam.

If you have Elite Dangerous in your Steam Library, you will be able to participate in the Elite Dangerous: Beyond - Chapter One Beta using the Steam client. If you purchased the game from the Frontier Store and would like to add it to your Steam library, please follow the instructions in this support article.

To opt into the Elite Dangerous: Beyond - Chapter One Beta on Steam:

1. Open the Steam client and navigate to your Library.

2. Right-click on Elite Dangerous and select Properties.

3. Click on the BETAS tab.

4. Select "Beta" through the drop-down box.

5. You will be prompted to restart your client. After restarting, launch Elite Dangerous to access Beyond - Chapter One Beta.

6. Select the beta from the launcher as usual.

Please note that once the beta build goes live, you may not see the "Beta" option immediately in the Steam client as the build may take some time to propagate. In this case, please restart your Steam client and try again in a few minutes.
