Due out for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe this spring, Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is a ‘rebirth’ of the original game. It offers three new story paths—“the Goddess story,” “the Vile God story,” and “the Evil God story”—and sees protagonist Fang and friends take on a new, evil organization, meet new fairies and Fencers, and battle with up to six party members at once.
Depending on which of the three story routes you choose, you can battle alongside new party members who were once your enemies. This includes Marianna, who joins Fang’s party in one of the new routes.

Galdo
A passionate and hot-blooded Fencer who fights with a scythe-shaped fairy weapon. He is employed by the Dorfa Corporation. While on a mission with Zenke, Galdo goes head to head with Fang in battle.
Marissa
Galdo’s fairy partner. Her doting, motherly demeanor pairs well with her “Galdy-kins” and his rowdy personality.
Paiga
One of Dorfa’s Four Heavenly Czars. Although he is a Fencer, he does not do well in combat and prefers to supervise his colleagues instead.
Vivian
Paiga’s fairy partner. Paiga is often teased because of her scantily-clad outfit and mouse ears that she wears in her human form.
Marianna
One of Dorfa’s Four Heavenly Czars. She’s a Fencer who works diligently to collect Furies in order to strengthen Dorfa’s influence. She volunteers at orphanages in her spare time and even plays the harp for the children.
Khalara
Marianna’s fairy partner. Don’t let his cute, round, mascot-like looks fool you! This foulmouthed fairy is unsuitable for children.

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force features two new story routes, the “Vile God” and “Evil Goddess” routes. In these new stories, not only do playable characters change, but personalities change as well. For example, the once ruthless Zenke acts meek and even the proud Apollonius might fight alongside the player.

Zenke
A bloodthirsty Fencer who only fights to cause senseless destruction. He is one of Dorfa’s Four Heavenly Czars. Fang first stumbles upon him terrorizing a town and challenges him to a fight.
Della
Zenke’s fairy partner who enjoys violence just as much as he does. Although they appear like a perfect pair, they’re really only using the each other as a means to an end.
Apollonius
One of Dorfa’s Four Heavenly Czars. He’s a skilled swordsman who sticks to his strict way of the sword. He fights in hopes to battle powerful adversaries.
Seguro
Apollonius’ fairy partner. Due to his massive dragon form, he is skilled in battle.
Bernard
The calm director of the Dorfa corporation. He is President Hanagata’s assistant officer. His calculating personality makes him unparalleled in combat.
Sanguina
Bernard’s fairy partner and loyal secretary. Her professional and collected demeanor make her a desirable employee to many companies, however, she pledges to only work under her Master Bernard.
Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is due out for PlayStation 4 this spring in North America and Europe.
