(In realtà l'avevo droppato proprio prima del boss finale lol)

Voto alto alto alto considerando le undici ore spalmate su dodici mesi, e il numero di volte che l'ho droppato. Il fatto è che benché lo abbia giocato praticamente sempre nei momenti sbagliati e mi ci sia divertito molto meno di quanto avrei potuto, non riesco a non volergli bene. C'è una cura nel dettaglio, una minuzia nel bilanciamento nel gameplay, un'equilibrio fra nostalgia ed ironia che veramente rende il gioco migliore della somma delle sue parti, che comunque sono già di per sé tutte ottime. Ora sotto con Plague of shadows che già al secondo livello sembra un'altra chicca, anche solo per come riesce a reinventarsi. Dai che stavolta riesco a tirare dritto fino alla fine.

Updated my journal.

Dopo avere finito Horizon ZD e relativa espansione - avente aspetti veramente positivi (main quest, mondo di gioco, combat, bestiario, l'esplorazione, collezionabili interessanti), ma altri che mi hanno lasciato perplesso (la scrittura delle side quest è piattissima, la quasi totalità dei PG secondari è immolato per Aloy, la stessa Aloy che è una Mary Sue all'ennessima potenza, antagonisti meh) - ho reiniziato Bayonetta 1 su Switch, gioco d'iddio: ho fatto solo una run a normal con il "Gaze of Despair" attivo e non mi divertivo così tanto da anni.

Chisenefrega della trama, dei personaggi, del mondo l'unica cosa che conta veramente è menare le mani in modo stylish e Bayonetta lo fa in modo eccezionale. Ah, penso che giocarlo con un frame stabile e non 15 FPS me lo stia facendo apprezzare maggiormente.

Tornando a "Robodinosauri vs Redhead" mi aspettavo molto, ma molto di più.

E nel frattempo ho giochicchiato ad Into The Breach (Ringrazio un mio amico per questo regalo inaspettato) per quelle 3/4 ore che ho fatto è veramente figo, è un titolo che poteva starci nei cabinati visto la sua struttura, e sono purtroppo ricaduto nella mia droga - Payday 2 - per colpa di un mio altro socio che voleva giocare qualcosa in coop :asd:

Un buon prequel, onestamente quando l'annunciarono pensavo che c'era poco da raccontare alla fine prima degli eventi del gioco principale, e in parte i soli 3 episodi invece che 5 lo confermavano un po', invece mi sono trovato con più eventi di quanto pensassi, anzi diciamo che il gioco alla fine non racconta tutto e spazio per un ulteriore capitolo sempre di 3 per chiudere ci potrebbe essere. Molte cose non si sono viste ancora e ci sono cose inserite nel gioco di cui non ho visto a mio parere la conclusione, sopratutto riguardo a qualche personaggio inedito di questo capitolo, di cui per esempio di alcuni non ne ho ben capito l'utilità nella storia.

Nonostante questo però il primo godeva di una trama molto più interessante, sono stati bravi a creare un intreccio con quello che avevano ma in se quella del precedente, per forza di cose, era più interessante e con momenti in cui l'attenzione era più alta, dove al contrario qui il tutto è molto più intimista se vogliamo, e cerca meno il colpo di scena, nonostante uno che serve a rivoltare completamente la trama del gioco.

Nonostante questo alla fine si potrebbe dire che la scrittura è migliore del precedente gioco, o almeno credo perché sono passati anni che ho giocato il primo e quindi potrei ricordare malissimo, quindi lascio comunque il beneficio del dubbio al capostipite.

Chloe è ben caratterizzata, nelle sue paure e ansie, azioni e strafottenza dell'età adolescenziale, se vogliamo spicca decisamente più di Max, cosa che succedeva anche nel primo, ma qui da protagonista assoluta lo si nota ancora di più, e personalmente Max non mi è mai dispiaciuta come protagonista.

OST buonissima, anche se non a livello del precedente, ma comunque di buonissimo livello sia quella non originale con buone scelte di traccie, sia quella originale a cura dei Daughter, ma non avevo dubbi. :stema:

Graficamente è il primo, ne più ne meno, anzi se vogliamo ci sono molte più imprecisioni rispetto al precedente alcune volte, però vabbè, la serie è quello che è un peso piuma anche per una PS3, quindi è inutile anche parlarne.

Per quanto riguarda il gameplay viene a mancare completamente l'alterazione del tempo del precedente, sostituito da una sfida di dialoghi botta e risposta in cui devi scegliere la risposta migliore per vincere la sfida, cosa carina ma del tutto inferiore all'alterazione del tempi, che veniva usata anche per qualche (blando) enigma nel precedente, ma anche per i dialoghi, dove riavvolgendo il tempo potevi dare altre risposte o parlare di argomenti con i personaggi, gli enigmi nonostante questo sono presenti, forse non quanto il primo ma presenti, ma ovviamente blandi e niente a che vedere con una avventura grafica, ma d'altronde cosa che non è questo gioco. In se però è appunto anche meno ludico del precedente alla fine.

Insomma alla fine se piace LiS e piace il genere non rimarrà deluso, non ai livelli del predecessore nonostante magari qualcosa sia meglio (al netto di altre cose peggiori ovviamente) però comunque abbastanza meritevole come prequel, calcolando che i i Deck Nine (Ex Idol Minds) sono sempre stati sviluppatori quasi del cazz, non è poco :sisi:
