Finito anche DMC 5. Molto bello, nel suo genere di appartenenza praticamente perfetto, rispettoso delle caratteristiche dei protagonisti, forse Nero ha un gameplay un pelo deludente ma Dante compensa al meglio, V è molto interessante, un approccio diverso. Ha anche una trama degna per quanto semplice, ricongiunge parecchi pezzi sparsi qua e là nella travagliata storia del franchise per cercare di dare una direzione futura univoca. Un po’ di stanchezza nelle fasi finali a livello di ambientazioni (ma rispetto al 4 siamo decisamente avanti quindi va bene così).

Non ho molta voglia di perderci molto tempo dietro però, ma non è colpa del gioco ma probabilmente io nella mia maturazione videoludica ho perso la passione per gli action puri.

Iniziato Ori su Switch, ancora all’inizio, artisticamente è davvero riuscito.

Acquistato anche Dragon Quest XI sempre su Switch, in pratica pure se non fanno direct per i prossimi 2 anni avrei lo stesso da giocare senza troppi problemi.

ho finito Owlboy e rivisto al ribasso il voto di Darksiders 3 proprio perché non voglio mettere sullo stesso piano un titolo molto più piccolo e limitato ma realizzato con una meticolosità incredibile e con una storia semplice ed efficace con un titolo sicuramente divertente ma inguardabile a livello tecnico (e non parlo di grafica quanto di veri e propri bug fastidiosi). Owlboy merita sicuramente di essere giocato, un platform carino e basato sulla trama. Non è molto longevo ma sicuramente valido.

Altra ottima aggiunta al pacchetto. Le nuove meccaniche sono abbastanza convolute, ma una volta fatta la mano sanno dare le stesse soddisfazioni dei tre personaggi precedenti. Molto carino il gioco di carte, anche se dopo un po' l'ho lasciato da parte per concentrarmi meglio sul platforming. Narrativamente non molto interessante, gli altri nel loro piccolo erano riusciti a sorprendermi ma qui il personaggio è davvero molto limitato (e il finale è agghiacciante). Giusto chiudere qui, con un'eventuale quinta campagna probabilmente sarebbe emersa un po' di stanchezza.

Nuovo aggiornamento, continuo con la sfoltita del backlog e replay di titoli arretrati. Bloodborne si riconferma un capolavoro assoluto, che questa volta mi sono finalmente goduto come si deve, platinandolo e finendo al 100% anche lo splendido DLC.

Giocato anche il primo Nioh finalmente, ci avrò fatto almeno 70/80 ore e mi ritengo soddisfatto così, davvero un bel action e un grande ritorno per il Team Ninja, non vedo l'ora di recuperare anche il secondo.

Infine, recuperato dopo anni anche Prey, altra piccola perla dagli Arkane, seppur non mi abbia convinto al 100% come la saga di Dishonored

Alla fine ho deciso di saltare i D1 di DOOM Eternal e RE3, onestamente non ho tanta voglia di spendere soldi durante questa quarantena e penso che dedicarmi finalmente al backlog sia la scelta migliore in questo periodo. Probabilmente nei prossimi giorni mi dedicherò ad uno tra Titanfall 2 e Metro: Redux, in attesa ovviamente del primo vero D1 del 2020: FF7 Remake :nev:

Finito Ori and the Blind Forest, continuo a ritenere che la sensazione di progressione che regalano i metroidvania sia una delle migliori possibili nel mondo videoludico. Anche la quantità di bestemmie che fa partire in certi momenti. Ora sotto con Dragon Quest XI, avevo giocato la demo ma credo inizierò da zero perché ricordo davvero poco o nulla e la demo era bella lunga. Vedrò.

Pregi: Gameplay, Difficoltà ben calibrata (almeno a Normale), Alcune ambientazioni carine, In generale da un bel senso di esplorazione, Migliora nelle fasi finali.

Difetti: Trama poco coinvolgente, Enigmi senza infamia e senza lode, Grafica e frame rate (quest'ultimo pessimo veramente).

Hitman: Definitive Edition - 8

Pregi: Gameplay e libertà di approccio, Ambientazioni molto belle, Longevità e rigiocabilità, Da assuefazione.

Difetti: Narrazione scialba, Alcune allerte senza senso.

Pregi: Trama e dialoghi, Alcune scelte non banali, Ambientazioni molto ispirate, Ha stile da vendere e provoca un discreto "sense of wonder".

Difetti: Campagna principale troppo corta, Realizzazione tecnica un po' datata, Gameplay un po' grezzo su alcune cose.

Pregi: Campagna principale carina (anche se breve), L'editor permette di fare veramente qualsiasi cosa, Longevità praticamente infinita.

Pregi: Ambientazione e atmosfera bellissime, Trama, regia e dialoghi sopra la media, Gameplay e albero delle abilità abbastanza soddisfacenti, Colonna sonora molto bella.

Wargroove, per essere un titolo indie acquistabile a meno di 20 euro, è un mezzo capolavoro. Qualcuno dirà che è Advance Wars reskinnato; onestamente mi sta benissimo perché è un tattico davvero ben riuscito con una campagna ottima, difficoltà elevata, diverse modalità e online può diventare persino una partita a scacchi. C'è pure una modalità creazione per realizzare mappe, sfide e intere campagne con tanto di cut-scene. Potenzialmente infinito sia che si abbia la vena creativa sia che ci si limiti a giocare i contenuti realizzati dagli utenti.

Che spettacolo. Che, spettacolo. Cosa non è il ritmo di questo gioco. Un ottovolante dall'inizio alla fine, un'alternanza perfetta fra la tensione delle sequenze più spiccatamente survival horror, le scariche di adrenalina del conflitto aperto, e il puro guilty pleasure delle scene d'azione più insensate. Trama, dialoghi e doppiaggio pazzeschi. Pazzeschi. Qualcuno dirà: ma sono stupidi. Sì. E li ho amati. E non ho ancora tirato in ballo il gameplay. (Spoiler: è pazzescooo) Inizialmente temevo che i controlli mi avrebbero fatto venire un cancro, dopo qualche mezz'ora c'ero talmente assuefatto che ho avuto difficoltà a tornare a giochi con la camera libera convenzionale. Il gunplay è fantastico, il level design perfetto per giocarci anche tatticamente, la combo headshot-calcio assuefacente ogni singola volta, bilanciamento rischio-premio da manuale di game design. Perfetto anche il livello (dinamico) di difficoltà, sfidante quanto basta perché ciascun livello sia tanto soddisfacente da giocare quanto appagante da superare. Incredibile come riesca a esaltare tutti i benefici provenienti da una struttura estremamente lineare, senza però mai sembrare un interminabile corridoio. Longevità perfetta, quasi venti ore che se ne vanno tutte d'un fiato. E appena finito, bam!, due espansioni e una modalità arcade sbloccate, in aggiunta all'immancabile new game+, perfetti per togliersi anche le ultime voglie post finale. Ho la sensazione che questo sia uno di quei giochi che migliorano con ogni run. Difficile invecchiare meglio di così.

Final Fantasy XV (7)

Come gioco ha davvero troppi difetti però ha anche qualcosa che inspiegabilmente lo rende Final Fantasy; non è assolutamente nemmeno paragonabile ai migliori titoli della serie però, tra quelli meno riusciti, ci può stare senza problemi a differenza della trilogia dell'ultimo capitolo single player quindi comunque più che sufficiente e se si ignora quasi totalmente la componente open world è ancor più godibile perché, al netto di due fasi create proprio con l'intenzione di allungare il brodo, si salta la parte venuta peggio
