In celebration of .hack//G.U.’s 10th anniversary, CyberConnect2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama shared a series of tweets looking back at the series, and also a message for fans that wish to see a new .hack game.
After reminiscing on the past of .hack//G.U. and how it’s already been 10 years since the game was originally revealed during E3 of 2005, Matsuyama shared a message for fans waiting for a new game:
“Even to this day, it’s a title that gets plenty of support from fans, along with thoughts and demand for a remake, an HD version, a new title, or a sequel,” Matsuyama tweeted about .hack//G.U.
He continued, “All of these messages are reaching us, and we’re embracing them. For those of you that say ‘they’re probably not even listening to us’ and to those of you that are sitting there believing in us—we’ll continue doing our best. Thank you for your continued support!”
