Hi Score Girl Gets Spinoff Manga About Koharu Hidaka in December

The December issue of Square Enix's Big Gangan magazine revealed on Monday that Rensuke Oshikiri is launching Hi Score Girl DASH, a spinoff manga of his Hi Score Girl manga, in the magazine's next issue on December 25. The manga will focus on the character Koharu Hidaka, who is a middle school teacher close to 30 years old in 2007

Netflix Adds Hi Score Girl II Anime Outside Japan, China on April 9

Warner Bros. Japan announced on Friday that Hi Score Girl II, the second anime season based on Rensuke Oshikiri's Hi Score Girl manga, will premiere on Netflix outside of Japan and China on April 9.

The nine-episode second season premiered in Japan on October 25.

Uscita su Netflix la seconda stagione, non vedo l'ora di guardarla. Ho adorato la prima stagione, avendo frequentato le sale giochi negli anni '90 e all'inizio del nuovo millennio certe situazioni mi fanno venire molta nostalgia. Non fatevi scappare questa serie.

Hi Score Girl's Rensuke Oshikiri Draws New 'DKS40' 1-Shot Manga

This year's 35th issue of Kodansha's Young Magazine revealed on Monday that Rensuke Oshikiri will publish a new one-shot manga titled "DKS40" (pronounced "dōkyūsei" or "classmate") in the magazine's next issue on August 3.

The one-shot manga is part of the magazine's 40th anniversary project "Wagaman," a series of one-shots from six authors. "DKS40" is the fourth installment in the project.

Hi Score Girl Manga Gets Special 1-Shot in October

The October issue of Square Enix's Big Gangan magazine revealed last Friday that Rensuke Oshikiri will publish a one-shot special chapter for his Hi Score Girl manga in the magazine's next issue on October 24. Though Oshikiri currently serializes his Hi Score Girl DASH spinoff manga in the magazine, the manga will not appear in the next issue due to the new one-shot chapter, and will return on November 25.
