Annunciato Susanoh: Japanese Mythology RPG per PS4 e Switch!

Independent Japanese game developers Hachikuma Games and Strawberry Hikari have announced Susanoh: Japanese Mythology RPG for PlayStation 4 and Switch. It will launch sometime between the spring and summer in Japan.

Susanoh: Japanese Mythology RPG was actually first announced at Digital Games Expo 2018 on November 4, 2018, but went largely unnoticed. Its official website went up at the time, but is only a page with a logo and little to no information. Pamphlet images tweeted back then were also difficult to make out. However, today a December 28 blog post from Hachikuma Games and January 6 blog post from Strawberry Hikari were discovered with more information.

Here is a summary of the story:




Amaterasu’s younger brother Susanoh was banished from Heaven due to his arrogant behavior. But before this, Susanoh showed himself to be something of a hero god in Ashiwara Nakatsukoku, such as when he defeated Yamata no Orochi and saved a girl named Kushinada who was to be sacrificed. As a hero god, Susanoh married Kushinada and ruled Izumo no Kuni into great prosperity, before finishing his role and retiring to a long sleep.

Over 100 years have passed. A messenger arrives from Heaven who wakes Susanoh from his slumber. Is this a messenger to inform him of an upheaval in Ashiwara Nakatsukoku? Is a battle between the gods of Heaven about to begin?>



As the title of the game suggests, Susanoh: Japanese Mythology RPG is an original RPG based on Japanese mythology with Susanoh Mikoto as the protagonist. The heroine is Kushinada, who is known in Japanese mythology by the name Kushinadahime.

(1) The 13th Star Maiden: The Serpent Star Maiden Arfie

The Serpent Star Maiden. A girl who trains the Star Children in the day care. She has a straightforward and kind personality, and dislikes bad things. Since she has a passionate sense of duty, she tends be tough when it comes to guiding the Star Children.

She herself is actually a Star Child born 30 years prior to the events of the game. A test subject of the “Star Child to Shrine Maiden Transformation Project” going on at that time, she gained the power to become the Serpent Star Maiden, and has thus grown while still remaining a Star Child.

(2) Mahiru’s Personality Changed to be More Quiet and Friendly

In the original Conception for PSP, the heroine Mahiru had a cold attitude towards protagonist Itsuki, but in Conception Plus for PlayStation 4, her attitude has been changed to be more friendly and charming.

(3) Enhanced Love Ceremony Presentation

When performing a Love Ceremony, Star Maidens can be seen clearly compared to their silhouette presentation in the PSP version. The higher your relationship level, the longer you can enjoy the scene.

(4) View 3D Models and Listen to Voices in the Database

A database has been added where you can view 3D models and listen to the voices of the Star Maidens, Star Children, protagonist, and more, as well as re-watch cleared events at any time.

(5) Randomly Upload Star Children Online

By connecting online, the Star Children you raised can be randomly chosen and uploaded to the server at fixed times (their original data remains, so they will not suddenly disappear).

The Star Children uploaded to the server can be downloaded at random from a range based on the player’s level and automatically appear at the inn. You might even get a powerful Star Child. It should be noted that the “Matchmaking Communication” feature from the PSP version is not included in the PlayStation 4 version.

(6) Touch Communication Feature Removed Due to Various Circumstances

While there were plans to implement the “Touch Communication” feature that allows players to touch the Star Maidens’ bodies during conversation as it was in the PSP version, we are sorry to say it ultimately had to be removed due to various circumstances. We sincerely apologize to all those looking forward to it. We will continue to keep trying to get this implemented.

Gameplay has been made more comfortable, and additional features, specification changes, and balance adjustments have been applied.

Il 7 febbraio uscirà in Giappone, sia su PS4 che su Switch, una demo per Langrisser I&II.

Si potranno giocare i primi 3 stage dell'I e gli stage dal 4 al 6 del II, così per vedere il gameplay dell'originale e le aggiunte del secondo capitolo. Sarà anche possibile passare dai ritratti dei personaggi nuovi realizzati da Nagi a quelli classici di Urushihara, un elemento che nel gioco finale sarà incluso solo nella prima tiratura del gioco.

Dragon: Marked for Death per Switch è stato recensito da Famitsu con 7/8/8/8. Mi aspettavo di più.

Il gioco uscirà il 31 gennaio su eShop, ma il 26 marzo ne uscirà una versione fisica in America ed Europa.

Questa versione includerà tutti i personaggi e il dlc "Additional Quest". La prima tiratura includerà anche un altro dlc, lo "Striker Gear Pack".
