Vabbè, il nuovo Titanfall che hanno cancellato pare fosse un extraction shooter, quindi probabilmente non ci siamo persi chissà cosa

E han fatto bene a cancellarlo. Ho la sensazione che anche gli altri extraction che usciranno quest'anno non faranno una bella fine.

Che poi con Clair Obscure l'utente medio sta iniziando a non capire la differenza tra AAA e AA, mentre lato produttivo tutti aspettano con ansia un post mortem del progetto alle prossime GDC. Se si possono fare giochi così con meno di 50 cristiani nel core team e il supporto di team orbitanti, palese che anche questo porterá una rivalutazione abbastanza importante nelle pipeline di sviluppo per gli anni avvenire (per quanto concerne la "sperimentazione" di generi).

Ci sono tante cose positive che progetti come questo possono comportare per il futuro dell'industria (anche il rilascio a 50€ non é da sminuire, tolto il rapporto "primo gioco"), ma non possiamo negare che la situazione in cui vertono le AAA pare essere invece del tutto l'opposto.

Il ritorno al proliferare dei AA stile generazione PS3/xbox360 sarebbe una manna dal cielo per questa industria
 
Facendo una breve carellata dei titoli Ubisoft che recuperei volentieri con gli achievement manca solo Child of Light, poi sono a posto :asd:
 
ma c'è qualcuno di spazio pc che è entrato nel management di Ubisoft per farli rinsavire su come si fanno le cose?
 
Quello che mi chiedo è: quanto ci potrà mai volere per implementare gli achievement nei giochi su steam? Perchè non farli tutti in una volta o un tot di giochi alla volta?

In teoria ci va molto poco.

ubisoft sta in mezzo a una strada al momento, fare robe consumer friendly è il minimo che deve fare per provare a risalire un attimo :asd:

Si dovrebbe essere tutto legato a quell'aggiornamento, quindi achievement, supporto pad, veste grafica

sarebbe la scusa che mi serve per fare una seconda run di quel gioiellino. Solo che poi mi piangerebbe il cuore sapendo che non avremo mai un chapter 2.

After releasing EA SPORTS WRC in 2023, the 2024 season, including the recently released Hard Chargers Content pack, will be our last expansion.

For now, we are pausing development plans on future rally titles. Rest assured, EA SPORTS WRC will continue to be available for existing and new players. We hope it remains a source of joy, excitement, and the thrill of rally racing. We've poured our hearts into making it for fans, and we know you'll keep the passion alive.

Our WRC partnership was a culmination of sorts for our Codemasters journey with off-road racing, spanning decades through titles like Colin McRae Rally, and DiRT. We've provided a home for every rally enthusiast, striving tirelessly to push the boundaries and deliver the exhilarating thrill of driving on the ragged edge. We’ve brought together incredibly talented racing developers, worked with some of the sport’s icons, and had the opportunity to share our love of rallying.

Thank you to all the fans who have and continue to be part of our rally journey.
