si sa se uscirà dal giappone?
Ancora no, e L-5 non è esattamente rapidissima. :asd:

The Snack World: Trejarers Gold, la versione per Switch dell'originale The Snack World: Trejarers per 3DS, uscirà in Giappone il 12 aprile.

Vedremo.

Nikkei Trendy has published a lengthy interview with Level-5 president and CEO Akihiro Hino, who discusses the company’s plans for Switch and confirms a Level-5 Vision 2018 event for fall.
Asked how the company plans to support Switch in the future, Hino responded, “Basically, in the future our main titles will all be released on Nintendo Switch. The idea is that what we have created for 3DS will move over to Switch.”

Level-5’s first Switch title will be The Snack World: Trejarers Gold, which is due out in Japan on April 12. Hino noted that property faced various struggles. For example, the timing of the video game’s release date was dicey; the anime progression was rough, and it didn’t feel like a year was enough time to prepare. While the toys had the performance to sell really well, Hino feels that if they had developed just a little quicker, they could have rode that boom. “The Switch version due out in April is quite good, so I would like to make another effort,” Hino said.

Asked to talk about the 20th anniversary of Level-5 and the company’s developments for 2018, Hino said, “First, I want to properly announce a completely new title for the 20th anniversary. At the moment we may be exhausted because of the release rush from last years push-backs, but since it’s the culmination showing how hard we’ve truly worked these past 20 years, I definitely want to do it:”

Asked what kind of year 2018 will be for Level-5, Hino said, “This year, I would like to properly thank everyone who worked with us so far, and further strengthen our relationships with those people. Whether business or creative, I would like to deepen our bonds with everyone more than ever before.”

Hino continued, “I would like to make clear our standing as a company in the industry during Level-5 Vision 2018, which will be held in the fall. In 2018, in addition to thanking the various companies that have been involved with us, this year will likely be a turning point where we will henceforth properly represent those relationships.”

Megaton Musashi will consist of a TV anime, a toy line, and multiplayer action RPG. While platforms were never announced, PlayStation hardware and 3DS were used in the concept images. In August 2016, Level-5 president and CEO Akihiro Hino said the company was considering developing the game for high-spec platforms and that he wanted to see it on as a big a screen as possible.

Here is an overview of the project, via Level-5 International America in 2016:
Following Yo-kai Watch and The Snack World, Megaton Musashi was announced as the fifth cross-media project for Level-5. Its concept is ‘the combination of classic robot stories and school mysteries.’ While action battles among robots are featured, there will be a thrilling suspense-drama in the schools the protagonists attend. Unlike previous cross-media titles where the same or similar story is rolled out across different media platforms, Level-5 will try a new method of multiple points of view for each platform. By doing so, one big story will be told through different characters, so audiences can either enjoy each individual narrative on its own or the entire story through all platforms. Bandai has already been chosen as its master toy partner in Japan, and Level-5 is looking to create another strong entertainment ecosystem. Its rollout plan outside of Japan is yet to be determined.

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has a 40-page feature on Level-5, including a long interview with president and CEO Akihiro Hino, in celebration of the company’s 20th anniversary.

In the interview, Hino discusses his memories of when the company was first established, its secrets to producing major hits, and the company’s vision for the future. There is also a special dialogue about the goals of the new company Level-5 Comcept, which is a collaboration between Hino and Keiji Inafune.

Additionally, the feature includes comments from creators close to Hino, a first-ever look at the proposal for Professor Layton and the Curious Village, and more. The cover of the magazine is illustrated by Level-5’s Takuzou Nagano, who created the designs for popular characters such as Professor Layton, Mamoru Endou, and Jibanyan.

Finally, the feature includes a major scoop. While Famitsu’s online preview of the magazine does not say it directly, it appears that the 2008-announced, later-cancelled PSP title Ushiro is being revived for Switch. Its online preview is titled, “Whhat!!! The Phantom Game Ushiro [is Coming?] to Switch!?”

Weekly Famitsu releases on Thursdays in Japan, but information from the magazine usually leaks on Wednesday mornings (Tuesday nights Eastern time). Look forward to more information then.

■ About

A Classic Robot Story + School Mystery Drama

In addition to intense robot battles, a suspenseful story will unfold at the academy.

In A.D. 2118, a mysterious alien power called “Dractor” suddenly swooped down on earth. Within a few days, it gained total control of the planet.

Earth was drilled out in the shape of a doughnut, and the planet became an alien nest. Those who escaped to the “Shelter,” a residential facility with strong defensive capability, planned their counterattack.

Their last hope. The power to go up against the aliens’ overwhelmingly huge weapons… Its name is “Musashi,” a megaton-class giant robot.

■ Characters

Yamato Ichidaiji (voiced by Masakazu Morita)

The main pilot of Musashi Unit 1. While he doesn’t sweat the small stuff, little things can sometimes get him fired up. He is a highly capable pilot, boasting good judgment, reflexes, and other good qualities.

Ryuugo Hijikata (voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki)

The pilot of Musashi Unit 2. Unlike Yamato, he comes off as the leader of a juvenile gang. Although he looks like a hot-blooded delinquent, he is actually good guy with a big heart.

Teru Asami (voiced by Miyu Irino)

The pilot of Musashi Unit 3. A top elite when it comes to performance. He is calm and never off guard. He comes off as cold towards various things at first, but actually longs for friendship.

Other Characters

  • Reiji Amemiya (voiced by Kaito Ishikawa) – A student who transferred to the protagonists’ high school after Yamato and the others defeated Grit Fused-Type. Just who is this mysterious transfer student…?
  • Yuuka Nishino (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu) – Yamato’s classmate. The head of the school newspaper. She is enthusiastic when it comes to club activities and is always looking for scoops. Upon investigating mysterious cases in town, she starts to sense an uncomfortable feeling about the town…
  • Sayaka Minami (voiced by Maaya Sakamoto) – The M-Plan project leader who instructs the three Musashi pilots from the Musashi Control Bridge. And just what is the M-Plan…?
  • Queen (voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro) – The Queen of Dractor. Even when Grit Fused-Type is destroyed, she sneers, “You are desperate to survive. Lovely, is it not?” What will be her next move towards human extinction?

■ Robots

Megaton Musashi

The strongest giant robot on earth, created through the collective efforts of the planet’s technologies. It is about 60 meters tall and is a combination of the three smaller Musashi units. In addition to standard weapons like a photon revolver, it has a secret weapon in the form of the diffusion blaster.

Sky Build

Megaton Musashi is a super-large machine made up of the three smaller Musashi units. Combining these three units requires a lot of energy. In order to combine, each unit must halt their propulsion engines and freefall. This air-combining mechanism is called “Sky Build.”

Diver-Class Units

“Diver-class” units are essential to humanity’s battle against Dractor. While not as strong individually as Megaton Musashi, the fighting strength of a party of Diver-class units is by all means formidable.

Diver-class units include:

  • Diver Unit Zero-6
  • Diver Unit Robinson
  • Diver Unit Carnegie

Dractor’s Armaments

Dractor’s armaments are machines made with a scientific strength that goes beyond that of humans by several hundreds of years. They attack the Shelter in large numbers.

Their units include:

  • Grit Attack-Type
  • Grit Humanoid
  • Grit Air-Type
  • Grit Fused-Type – The form of several dozens of Grit, which were destroyed by Megaton Musashi, that immediately reconstructed and combined. Its massive size is no comparison to the size of humanity’s robots.

■ World

Doughnut Earth

The setting of the story is “Doughnut Earth,” where 90 percent of the population has died. There is something that looks like a core in its center.

Within the Shelter built on the ruined earth, people spend their daily lives as if nothing had happened. At first glance, the high school that the protagonists attend and the town in which they live look to be nothing out of the ordinary, but…

The earth was invaded by the alien power known as Dractor, and has been destroyed to the point where it is painful to look at.
