esclusiva PS4

recap, di quanto sappiamo (molta roba io non l'avevo letta) aggiornato al 29/10/2015

  • tre personaggi giocabili: lei (NdG: YoRHa?), il ragazz(in)o che compare in un artwork (NdG: il "Nier" del finale E di Grimoire NieR?) e un terzo di cui non sappiamo nulla (NdG: robot? Sotto l'ipotetico perchè di questa considerazione)
  • cameo (?) di alcuni personaggi di NieR RepliCant e Gestalt
  • l'incipit si dirama dal finale D del primo NieR, ma non ci è dato sapere quanto; confermato però che non è un seguito diretto
  • versione unica per tutti i mercati
  • Tornerà Emil, insieme ad altri non precisati personaggi. Il protagonista (NdG: o i protagonisti? Kainè?) del primo NieR verrà menzionato (NdG: Nel primo caso... mi chiedo come sia possibile, visto che si parte dal finale D. Discorso diverso se quel "main characters" non è un errore di traduzione e quindi, esempio, Kainé non venga considerata solo un comprimario. Perchè non citarla come Emil, allora? Semplice preferenza dei Producer?)
  • Gameplay ibrido Drakengard/NieR con spiccata influenza dello stile Platinum
     
     
    "The basic framework of the game is similar to the first," explains Yoko. "You've got action bits and you've got adventuring and exploration as well. When I first got the request to set the game up from Saito-san, he requested a more action type of game, but I personally wanted to make something that was closer to Ocarina of Time, where you've got lots of field areas and you travel and do battle. I thought it was a really natural, really nice way for the game to be, so I tried to twist his brief to make it more of the kind of thing I wanted to make, and I think I've got it more of mine than his."

  • Alla fine del video appaiono delle parole che, tradotte, recitano: "androidi, umani, robot". Dengeki Online ha fatto notare però che il termine "ningyou", comunemente usato per fare riferimento agli androidi, è usato anche per la parola "angeli"
  • è confermato il fatto che NieR: Automata seguirà, cronologicamente, gli eventi dello stage play "YoRHa" di Yoko Taro (leggi sotto)


"YoRHa"

YoRHa Intro Summary: During the during the 14th Machine Armament War in the year 11,939AD, humans are near extinction. With the invasion of the “Living Machines”, humanity had no choice but to abandon the planet, taking refuge upon the Moon. Their only hope lie in an armada of specially configured androids called “YoRHa”. Programmed with human emotions and feelings, they descend upon the surface of the planet to combat the ceaseless onslaught of the Machines.

 

With the destruction of No.1 in the decent to the planet, No.2 assumes command over all units… however reluctant and unsure of her own abilities. She remains this way throughout the entity of the play; she keeps her black “visor” on the longest…only taking it off in the final scene when she faces the machines on her own.

 

No.2, after witnessing the destruction of her unit and the last of the Resistance, a failed YoRHa expedition hundreds of years before her time, is alone among a cold, unfeeling world ruled by machines
