Data la mia situazione con la PS4 non sempre disponibile e i continui viaggi in treno, mi butto sulla versione Vita. Se la eX+ dovesse arrivare la prenderei comunque al primo sconto

una informazione : Trails of cold steel 2 terminarà la storia della classe VII ( un po' come successo per la saga di trails of the sky, in cui il terzo aveva un altro protagonista e storia) oppure effettivamente si concluderà con il terzo capitolo ?

Ancora non e' stata rilasciata nessuna data per il Giappone del terzo capitolo. con i tempi che ha questa sag lo vedremo nel 2020. Non so se la mia povera ps3 ci arriverà. Almeno lo faranno per ps4??

Falcom has released new Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana information and screenshots detailing the game’s PS Vita day one patch and downloadable content.

■ Patch Ver. 1.01

Release Date: July 21

Downloading and installing Patch Ver. 1.01 of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will make your gameplay experience even more pleasant and enjoyable.

(1) “Time Attack” Added

After you clear the game, you can enjoy a “Time Attack” mode where you can freely battle against bosses.

(2) “Tips Viewing Feature” Added

During gameplay, you can view a great number of tips from your Adventure Journal.

(3) Downloadable Content Support

Support for downloadable content, the first of which will be released on July 21 alongside the game.

(4) Minor Bug Fixes, etc.

Falcom has detailed the Yuuki and Shio & Mitsuki side stories of Tokyo Xanadu eX+, the upcoming PlayStation 4 version of the PS Vita original action RPG.
If you missed it, the previous update introduced the side stories of new playable character White Shroud and Rion.

■ Side Story

Yuuki’s Chapter: “Yuuki Shinomiya’s Sigh”

Yuuki, who attends Moriyama Academy each day despite not caring enough to put effort into much of anything, and Sora, who cares in all sorts of ways, from asking for help to being nosy…

One day, a member of the boy’s karate club was giving Yuuki a hard time, wondering what the relationship was between the pair, and witnessed the Spirit World manifest in the real world (Eclipse).

What did Yuuki and Sora do next?

Shio and Mitsuki’s Chapter: “Quiet Flame, White Shrine Maiden”

A little while after the “witch” incident that attacked Morimiya City is resolved, student council president Mitsuki shows up all of a sudden before Shio where he works in the shopping district.

According to Mitsuki, a strange Spirit World gate opened up downtown different from normal gates.

Just when the city had finally calmed down from that major incident… Shio and Mitsuki don’t want to make their younger friends work too hard, so they decide to investigate the Spirit World on their own, but…

■ V-Navi

With an additional plugin to the social networking service app “NiAR” loaded onto your in-game Xiphone device, you can use the new “V-Navi” system.

By configuring the V-Navi, you can enjoy voices according to the set character, as well as receive support effects like D-Gauge recovery and EX Point acquisition while exploring the Spirit World dungeons.

Tokyo Xanadu eX+

n addition to White Shroud and an enhanced Asuka, Tokyo Xanadu eX+ for PlayStation 4 will also add Ryouta Ibuki as a playable character, the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation reveals.
Ryouta Ibuki is protagonist Kou’s friend from elementary school. He fights using a wooden sword imbued with spiritual power. Since he doesn’t have a Soul Device—a weapon of the Qualified—his abilities cannot be strengthened like other characters. His offense and defense are also low, and he cannot perform an X Strike. He is seemingly the weakest character.

Trails of Cold Steel III

It feels as if the amount of titles Falcom puts out has decreased since the old days. Is that because development on a single game started taking more time?“That’s correct, but that doesn’t mean the challenging spirit of the old days has disappeared. In interviews with employees nowadays, everyone has original ideas, like ‘I want to make a smartphone app,’ and ‘I want to make a Magical Alisa game.'”

What do you, President Kondo, want to take on?

“Sorcerian. I’ve been saying it for a half a year already. I’ve been thinking about whether or not we can do it in the current era. There are a lot of platforms to challenge elsewhere, too, like PlayStation VR.”

Can you give us an update on The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III?

“Right now work is heavily underway. We plan to start going at full scale this summer, but we’ve already completed the basic foundation. We’re also making new models for Rean and company. However, for those concerned about hardware, there are a lot of PS Vita users when it comes to the Trails series. We’re currently considering whether to do a PlayStation 4-exclusive or to make it cross-platform with PS Vita.”

Is the protagonist still Rean?

“The protagonist and story outline have been decided. Please look forward to what kind of characters will appear.”

A meno che non ci siano reali problemi tecnici (tipo che sarebbero necessarie 2 o più cartucce per il gioco o che ne so, per quanto non sarebbe il primo gioco PSV a uscire su 2 cartucce), dubito molto che non lo rilasceranno per PSV. Voglio dire, basta guardare i dati di vendita per accorgersi che in Giappone i loro giochi vendono ben più della metà su PSV. E' vero che alcuni di quelli che lo comprano su PSV avranno anche la PS4, ma di certo non tutti... Non rilasciandolo lì ti perderesti decine di migliaia di potenziali vendite senza nessun motivo... Nessuno sano di mente lo farebbe mai. Sarebbe anche un'idiozia da un punto di vista di linea "editoriale": dopo aver messo tutti i Kiseki su PSV (i tre Sora, Zero, Ao in versione EVO, e i primi due Cold Steel), questo no? Perché?

Si dice che vogliano fare un grosso salto in avanti grafico con Cold Steel III, e forse per questo metterlo anche su PSV sarebbe difficile. A parte che come motivazione mi sembra iper blanda perché puoi farne una versione downgradata senza troppi problemi, ma fosse davvero questo il motivo, tanto varrebbe fare questo salto grafico dal prossimo gioco: finisci Cold Steel, inizi a una nuova sottosaga, e dato che cambi veste grafica e mille altre cose, anche il passaggio di piattaforma risulterebbe assolutamente accettabile. Ma così è proprio assurdo e immotivato.

Ma diciamo che è tutta l'intervista che io ho trovato folle, tra smartphone App, Magical Alisa game, PSVR e questo. Cioé, a ogni paragrafo ero lì con gli occhi sbarrati, incerto se fossero trollate o meno. Ma mi sa che non erano trollate, nessuna di queste.

Dovrei riuscire ad avere una ps3 a noleggio e vorrei giocare i primi due... ma se devo poi cercarmi anche una ps4 e restare con una storia incompleta...
