■ An Overview of Liliati and Veronica’s Battle Styles

In Your Four Knight Princesses Training Story, four unique princesses appear.

Liliati is from the agricultural Alixarn Kingdom. Veronica is from a black magic guild made up of magicians. Monomaria is from a trade nation and the Noble Business Alliance. And Alpana is from the North Kamara Clan Federation, where people follow the faith of the dragon god.

The princesses are all commanders that lead the soldiers of each power, but the weapons they use and how they fight differ. In Your Four Knight Princesses Training Story, you can enjoy diverse actions and a large variety of strategies for each princess.

This time, we will introduce the contrastive battle styles of Liliati and Veronica.

—During action parts, you will fight using the attack actions assigned to each button. Each princess controls the same, but their attack motions and range significantly differ.

◆ Liliati Alixarn (voiced by Ayane Sakura)

The princess of Alixarn and its head knight. While she is no good at thinking about complicated issues, she desires from the bottom of her heart to build a country where people can live happily and without hunger. She has a good appetite and dreams of eating dragon meat as a steak.

Liliati’s dedicated weapon is a two-handed axe. She has a standard attack style free of peculiarity where she mainly uses close-range physical attacks.

Dash Attack

Move at high speed while dealing damage to the enemies you touch. Since this serves as both movement and an attack, it is convenient for breaking through an enemy encirclement.

Axe Throw Attack

Throws the axe forward to attack an enemy. If you throw it after building up power, you can deal even greater damage.

◆ Veronica (voiced by Hiromi Igarashi)

The young genius witch who leads the black magic guild. She is arrogant and cool-headed, and is feared as someone who immediately turns useless people into frogs. Since she does not treat capable individuals and those who swear their allegiance with poor attitude, she is also adored.

As a magician, Veronica uses attack magic. She has a slightly less amount of moves, but can deal damage to a vast range of enemies.

Scapegoat Frog Bomb

Sets a frog-style time bomb, then withdraws with a dash. Be careful not to get caught up in the blast.

Magic Attack

Fires magic shots to attack the enemies in front of you. Depending on the how far along your parameters are, the power of the attack will increase.

■ Expanding the Princess’ Abilities with Knowledge Materia

By using items called “Knowledge Materia,” you can increase the princess’ parameters. You can acquire Knowledge Materia by repeatedly performing “Direct Teaching,” through which you’ll “scold” or “praise” the princess.

Enable a Vast Array of Tactics by Raising Your Parameters

In addition to increasing basic stats such as HP, raising the princess’ parameters can enable the strengthening of attack actions, and the unlocking of new branches of the army to hire to take along on the battlefield, as well as “tactics,” which can be used to control the actions of soldiers. By raising your parameters with Knowledge Materia, you can raise your characters to become even stronger and have an greater degree of tactical freedom.

—Acquire Knowledge Materia through Direct Teaching.

—Use Knowledge Materia during training parts.

—By raising your parameters, you’ll be able to hire the new army branch known as “Guardian Angels.”

■ Your Students’ Growth Will Become Your Own Strength

By using Knowledge Materia on the princesses, the protagonist can obtain “Skill Points.” The obtained Skill Points can be used to strengthen the protagonist’s own stats and attack actions. Acquire strength together with the princesses!

—By allotting the Skill Points you obtain to various areas, you can strengthen your status and actions.

—If you strengthen your attack actions, even the same attack can deal even greater damage.

■ The Reassuring Soldiers that Accompany the Player

The character that the player controls is the “commander,” who leads their troops with the aim of clearing their mission. During the game, soldiers will appear in great numbers, and the player will be able to freely organize the unit of soldiers they take along to the battlefield.

The Four-Way Deadlock

Soldiers are classified into four groups, and each group of soldier has a strong-weak connection to two others. If you feel like an enemy is too difficult, try changing up the combination of soldier types in your unit.

Pawn – A soldier that attacks at close range using weapons. It is strong against Magicians and weak against Aviators.

Magicians – A magic soldier that can use powerful attack magic. It is strong against Shooters and weak against Pawns.

Shooter – A soldier that specializes in long-range attacks using guns. It is strong against Aviators and weak against Magicians.

Aviator – A soldier that can has wings and propulsion equipment, and can move in the air. It is strong against Pawns and weak against Shooters.

Give Soldiers Commands through Tactics

A commander possesses several “tactics,” and by using them during battle, they can control their soldiers’ movements to a certain extent. From having your soldiers immediately stop in place to confine the enemy, to increasing your soldiers’ attack power, there are a variety of ways to use tactics. The tactics that each commander can use differ. Discover the best strategy based on the character.

Increase the Field “Dominance”

By defeating enemies, as well as having your army occupy relics on the field, the field “Dominance” in the upper-right corner of the screen will increase. By increasing Dominance, the tactics you can use will also increase, allowing for an even greater variety of strategy. Also, the rewards you get when clearing the mission will increase.

The Powerful “Commander Attack”

A “Commander Attack” is a special attack soldiers can use at the indication of their commander. It is an easy-to-use attack through which you can charge at a distanced enemy or fire a ranged attack at the enemies around you. However, your movement speed will decrease if you overuse it, so caution is necessary as it runs the risk of making it easier for enemies to strike.

■ “Relics” of Ancient Civilizations

On the Relic Islands, it is said that ancient civilizations lived possessing advanced technology. In the fields, “relics” of the ancient civilizations that support this legend have been left behind.

Using Relics as Traps

Left alone, relics are a troublesome existence that can deal damage to your army, but by the commander and soldiers “occupying” a relic, they can be used as a means to attack the enemy army. To occupy a relic, the commander and soldiers need to stay within its vicinity for a certain period of time, during which they cannot attack the enemy.

—The “Empress Thorn” relic restrains anyone who approaches with thorns. Stay within its vicinity to occupy and disable it.

—After occupying a relic, you can use it as a trap.

—“Abyss Smile” is an ominous relic that shoots out fire from its eyes and mouth.

—“Mana Tower” is a sculpture relic that restores allies’ HP when occupied.

■ An Overview of Monomaria and Alpana’s Battle Styles

In Your Four Knight Princesses Training Story, four unique princesses appear. The princesses are all commanders that lead the soldiers of each power, but the weapons they use and how they fight differ. In Your Four Knight Princesses Training Story, you can enjoy diverse actions and a large variety of strategies for each princess.

This time, we will introduce the battle styles of Monomaria and Alpana.

—During action parts, you will fight using the attack actions assigned to each button. Each princess controls the same, but their attack motions and range significantly differ.

◆ Monomaria (voiced by Rarisa Takeda Tago)

A princess who works as a mercenary for the Noble Business Alliance. Since her parents’ untimely deaths, she has trouble even eating, but is struggling to overcome the trauma with her die-hard spirit. In order to fulfill her wish to avenge her parents and restore her family name, she tends to place strict regulations on herself.

Monomaria’s dedicated weapon is a Gatling gun. She is an all-rounder able to attack long range enemies with various gun attacks, and close range enemies with a bayonet.

Charge Attack

Long-press the button to charge up and fire a high-power gunshot. You will become defenseless both while charging and after the attack, so you must be on the lookout for approaching enemies.

High-Angle Fire Attack

Take aim at the target and unleash a high-angle fire. The blast after impact will easily falter the enemy.

◆ Alpana (voiced by Yuuki Kuwahara)

A princess who founded the Great Kamara Faith of the North Kamara Clan Federation. She is full of kindness, but in order to save everyone, and to find what she is personally looking for, she sets out to travel the Relic Islands. She loves sweets, but she is worried about the size of her tail getting bigger.

Alpana is of the Dragon People can thus can move around by flying. Her dedicated weapon are twin swords, and her attack speed and high number of moves are top class among the princesses.

Charge Attack

A special attack where Alpana charges up her power. By developing this technique, it is possible to attack in three directions.

Step Attack

An attack that instantly closes the gap between an enemy at a distance before swinging the sword downward.

■ World Map

◆ The Diverse Relic Islands

The Relic Islands consist of four countries, each different in climate and culture, and the player will travel all over the map with the princesses that serve them. The world map is dotted with action stages like forests and ruins, towns that act as bases, and more, which are denoted by symbols and patterned like a board game.

Symbols with the “Mission” mark above them will trigger conversation events and battles to advance the story.

◆ Dispatch and Head to Your Destination

On the map, you can organize your unit consisting of a “commander” and “soldiers,” and choose your destination to dispatch your army. This unit becomes characters controlled by th player during action parts.

The player’s army is not the only army on the map. Enemies and monsters also apepar. Since battles occur when your unit encounters an enemy, organize your unit with that in mind.

—Ally and enemy units are denoted by symbols.

—If you touch an enemy symbol, you will engage them in battle.

Deploy Several Units at Once

At times, you will encounter so many enemies that one unit is not enough to deal with them. By employing a “Generic Commander” (introduced below), the player can organize several units outside of the protagonist and princess’, and deploy them on the map.

◆ Generic Commanders

Generic Commanders, just like the protagonist and princesses, can be controlled by the player during action parts. They consist of Pawns, Magicians, Shooters, and Aviators, and can be used if the player employs them. Generic Commanders will not level up, but stronger commanders can be employed as the princess grows.

■ Missions

Various missions will occur on the world map. These include monster subjugation, defensive battles, ally escorts, defeating enemy armies, and more.

Outside of main missions that progress the story, there are also missions that delve deeper into the characters and setting.

Mission: “Meal Crisis”

The transport unit that supplies food and goods to the front lines is said to have been attacked by the enemy. Quickly move out with Liliati to exterminate the enemy unit.

More Mission Examples

An escort request reaches the private army led by Monomaria. Safely escort the client to their destination.

The instructor knights that Veronica rejected in the past attack out of resentment. Turn the tables on them.

◆ Events on the World Map

As you move along the world map, special icons outside of those that denote missions will appear. You can obtain items or trigger conversation events by moving your unit to these icons.

—A symbol with a treasure chest has appeared. Move your unit to the icon to obtain an item.

—When you pass through the symbol, you will obtain the item.
