Sto giocando a Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness ed il primo titolo della serie che provo. Volevo sapere: chi sono i personaggi che possono reincarnarsi ed a che condizioni? Mi conviene più concentrarmi su pochi personaggi o cercare di sbloccare più job possibili?

NIS parla di alcuni dei suoi progetti futuri per il 25° anniversario.
The Witch and the Hundred Knights - il gioco sta subendo ritardi e intoppi a causa del fatto che il team ha scarsa dimestichezza con il 3D. Ci tengono perà a precisare che il progetto è vivo, non è stato cancellato, e che sperano di poterci proporre un video la prossima volta che ne parleranno.
Project Arcadia - sarà un gioco leggero, che può essere giocato anche per brevi periodi. (che sia una roba alla Half-Minute Hero?)
Project D - l'annuncio vero e proprio non tarderà molto ad arrivare. Rivelano inoltre che l'identità del gioco non è molto lontana da quella che tutti si aspettano, cioé Disgaea 5. Una frase abbastanza sibillina. Sembrerebbe dire che non è D5, ma vedremo...

Anche Siliconera ha fatto un playtest di Legasista.
Purtroppo, i commenti al gioco sono sparsi per tutto k'articolo e non c'è un riassuntone finale di cui fare il copia/incolla. Quindi mi limito a riportare i elementi che ha preferito il tipo: lo Sprite System che permette di creare (o più probabilmente scaricare) skin per il tuo personaggio, la colonna sonora, che definisce fantastica, e la storia, che lo ha sorpreso in positivo dal momento che non pensava ci sarebbe stata e fosse curata. Il gampelay in generale, che gli è piaciuto, lo definisce abbastanza challenging e gli fa pensare a una specie di ClaDun HD con elementi presi qua e là di Disgaea, e fa notare come il gioco NON abbia un dub in inglese, ma solo in giapponese.

Despite following a basic format of dungeon exploration, Legasista provides enough additional components to give players a fulfilling experience. Though the feeling tends to wear thin over longer play sessions, it feels good surviving through dungeons with a pocketful of treasure knowing that your preparations paid off. While some of its more complicated features will alienate players unfamiliar with the genre, Legasista is ultimately a fun dungeon crawler that lets players–JRPG fans or not–play it the way they want.

In the midst of all this dungeon crawling, there was a pretty decent story. I was encouraged to keep playing to see how it would all turn out. The game’s graphics are eye-pleasing and fit the game quite well. The audio is top notch; it has a wonderful soundtrack and effects that work quite well. This game may seem quite simple at first, but with all the customization it offers it is really quite deep. You will spend a lot of time challenging yourself to see if you can get to the bottom of the 100-level, extremely difficult “Ran-geons” and to see what spoils you will get out of it. My only concern is the the difficulty curve can get a little absurd at times. But difficulty is nothing that grinding and better equipment can’t solve!

Legasista is a tricky title to get my head around. I found myself having lots of fun at times and cursing its very existence at others. If you like the combat and dungeon crawling the game is a great value and has a ton of replayability. However, the story and characters are boring and confusing. Like I said in the beginning, if you like NIS, chances are you are going to really enjoy Legasista, but if you aren’t you might want to pass on this one.

Certo che potevano fare 19,99 €, uno che ha il credito a 0 non gli basta comprarsi una scheda da 20 deve per forza aggiungere soldi dalla carta di credito o peggio ancora comprare un’altra card sempre da 20

È decisamente personalizzabile lo stile di combattimento, le musiche sono abbastanza belle, non c'è aliasing...però i char a schermo sono strani da guardare.
