http://gematsu.com/2017/05/omega-labyrinth-z-details-rinne-kuon-synthesis-system■ Character
Rinne Kuon (voiced by Akira Nakagawa)
Height: 179cm
Three-Sizes: B99 (I-cup)-W58-H90
Birthday: ???
A woman of many mysteries who is the founder and chairwoman of Anberyl Girls Academy. Although she is feared by students due to her strict discipline, she is very kind to her students and respected for her dignified manner. In the original Omega Labyrinth, she was an important character in the case surrounding the Holy Grail, but what is her role this time…?
■ Endless Appraisal Combinations
In Omega Labyrinth Z, you can change the items you place in between a character’s chest for appraisal into a variety of valuable things such as mics, wooden dolls, and shrimp tempura. Not only can you enjoy the appearance of different items, you can also enjoy different reactions from the girls. For example, when appraising an item by placing a mic in between the chest, there will be an echo to the girl’s voice, or when placing shrimp tempura, she will get hot.
This has no effect on the actual appraisal, so find items in the dungeon, choose one to appraise, and plop it in between a girl’s chest!
■ Rescue Imprisoned Maidens
As you progress through the story, some of the characters may become imprisoned by monsters in the depths of the dungeon. At these times—using the touchscreen on PS Vita and the touchpad on PlayStation 4—you must remove the obstacles binding the girls to rescue them.
But just because a girl’s chest or butt is laid out right before you, it doesn’t mean you should touch unrelated areas. Rescue her from her imprisonment!
■ Expand the Academy
As you progress through the story, you can expand the school by spending Omega Power at the store. Expansion content includes things such as adding a buff effect to the hot springs at the school and bathing before entering the dungeon, increasing the number of lockers to store items brought back from the dungeon, and the ability to take Omega Power into the dungeon.
■ Synthesize and Strengthen Items
By consuming Omega Power, you can strengthen weapons, shields, and underwear obtained in the dungeon with the fairy Pai’s “synthesis” ability. You can synthesize weapons with weapons, shields with shields, and underwear with underwear, and even synthesize inside the dungeon. By synthesizing the same equipment, its reinforcement value, attack power, and defense power will increase. If you synthesize different equipment, it can inherit additional effects such as inflicting the enemy with a status ailment. Equipment can have a maximum of four additional effects.
While the original Omega Labyrinth limited reinforcement values of all equipment to +10, there is a fixed value for each type of weapon in Omega Labyrinth Z, and some equipment can be strengthened up to +99. However, separate from the maximum reinforcement value, there is a limit to the strengthening that Pai can perform through synthesis. Whatever weapon you obtain can only be strengthened up to Pai’s strengthening limit. You can raise Pai’s strengthening limit by giving her “Pai Fruits,” which her sold at the store.
■ Oppai Touch Anytime, Anywhere
Oppai touching is not limited to “Appraisals,” “Faint in Agony Awakenings,” and “Rescues.” In dungeons, dialogue screens, menu screens, and so on, you can touch the character’s chest at any time if a character is displayed on the screen through the “Pai Touch Action” system. Not only will they shake, but you’ll get a reaction out of them, too.
http://gematsu.com/2017/05/radiant-historia-perfect-chronology-details-extra-dungeon-vault-time-sub-history-episodes■ Extra Dungeon: “Vault of Time”The extra dungeon, “Vault of Time,” is a new element in the 3DS remake of Radiant Historia. After you progress through a certain amount of the game, Lippti will request that you go the “Vault of Time.” From that point, you can visit the Vault of Time from Historia.
The Vault of Time is an extra dungeon where powerful enemies run rampant. Since you can’t use items, preserving your MP is the key to clearing it.
The extra dungeon is divided into a few areas, which you will gradually be able to access the further you advance the story. The enemies become stronger the deeper into the dungeon you go, but the rewards are plentiful.
If you defeat an enemy in the Vault of Time, you can obtain “Moments,” a special currency used only in the Vault of Time, which can be exchanged for valuable items. You can obtain items that cannot be purchased in ordinary shops and can only be obtained here, such as “Secret Books” to learn “Support Skills,” which are also a new feature in the 3DS remake.
■ Sub-History
“Sub-History” is the newly added third scenario in the 3DS remake of Radiant Historia.
Dunamis
“Dunamis” is a ship piloted by Nemesia able to fly about a number of potential worlds. Nemesia is searching for items called “Artifacts” that are key to stopping the continent’s desertification.
Episode: “The Saint Speaks”
“The Saint Speaks” is an episode from the Sub-History story. In a potential world of Alistel, Noah, the founding father and charismatic ruler, was giving an address. Meanwhile, intel surfaces that someone from Heiss plotting to assassinate Noah has slipped into the castle. It seems this may have a connection to the Artifacts Nemesia is looking for…
Episode: “A Promise that Crosses Time”
“A Promise that Crosses Time” is an episode from the Sub-History story. In searching for Artifacts, Stocke and Nemesia visit a potential world of Granorg. The two look for a certain pendant, but…?
■ First-Print Bonus
First-print copies of Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology include a download code for the “Character Deformation Pack,” which changes the standard illustrations of the 10 main characters to chibi illustrations drawn by CHANxCO.
http://gematsu.com/2017/06/terra-battle-2-announced-pc-smartphones
The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals Terra Battle 2 for PC, iOS, and Android, and another game called Terra Wars for unannounced platforms.
Terra Battle 2 is a joint development effort between Mistwalker—who are handling the images, sound, and scenario—and Silicon Studio—who are in charge of programming and materials—and will launch as a free-to-play title with microtransactions in Japan in 2017.
The basic gameplay system of Terra Battle 2 sees players move units on a grid-based field, and if an enemy enters their target square, a battle will begin. Rather than attach a growth element to the player character itself, players will strengthen their characters through elements such as equipment and guardians. You can have up to four party members.
The story of Terra Battle 2 will be about 50 chapters in length. Mistwalker president and CEO Hironobu Sakaguchi said he would like to distribute it in the format of a television drama, for example by releasing one new chapter every Friday.
Terra Wars is game where Terra Battle characters appear as claymation. About 2,000 photographs taken from eight directions are being used as image data for a single character. As for the nature of the game, Sakaguchi said, “I would like you to use your imagination based on the title.” More information will be released following the launch of Terra Battle 2.
Sakaguchi also discussed his desire to build a “Terra World.” For example, Terra Battle 2 and Terra Wars share the same concept as Terra Battle while having completely different world views and scenarios, and introducing new systems. They are part of the same “Terra World.”
Sakaguchi wants to build up the “Terra World” in the same way as his previously established franchise, Final Fantasy—the world view, scenario, and characters differ for each numbered title, but the foundation for each story is the same, and the systems and scenario gradually change over the course of each title. Sakaguchi wants to release around nine titles in the “Terra World.”
As for the first Terra Battle, the release of a sequel will not mark the end of the first game. Service will still continue, and a major update is planned for the end of June with content comparable to last year’s summer update.
